Password for voice set up Linksys AG310

Hi Guys
I could access voice tab in setup menu of Linksys AG310 ADSL2+ Gateway with VOIP . I just enabled password and now I get prompted for username and password for this voice menu part. Admin password does not seem to work. Has any one else come across.

not too familiar woth this ag10, but if it a voice router then try
username " user"
password " password used"
but if you have not configured any password then just leave it blank then it should work

I have a TG797n v3 on Windows 7 to a Dell XPS via ethernet cable. Has been working fine, but. . . just aquired an iPad Mini for family use.When trying to configure the iPad Mini, I can't get past the log in requirements of the "found" wireless network. My laptops read it OK but the iPad keeps asking for a Password for the Telstra***** wireless network. It asks for the SSID and the Wireless Key, but nothing else! and connection to the internet is established.(Otherwise I couldn't type this, could I?) So, where, and how, do I either retrieve the Password hidden in the TG or reset the password the iPad is looking for???I have configured the TG797 by disconnecting and re-connecting (no passwords asked for) I have searched all the Help topics and they ALL say " Just enter your User name and Password" . . . yeah, great if you can remember it or even resetit!! Please, someone, there must be a simple (or complex) answer as a solution. Thanks in advance, Ian King. (Telstra help, . . . anyone?)

Im sorry to hear that you are having difficulties,
The password you need is located on the underside of you modem unless you have already changed it yourself. It will often be listed as a WAP PIN.

long story short i need to set up a password for my linksys wireless router... i tried go to linksys' website link i went ahead and set up a password using instructions from the link above...went to http://192.168.1.1/...clicked on admin tab and set up password... to test out my password i turned on/off my wireless connection on my macbook. when i turned it back on and selected the linksys wireless connection from the dropdown menu on my macbook it did NOT prompt me for a password? what am i doing wrong? why isnt it asking me for a password?

The password you have changed is the password which protects the access to the web interface of the router. In other words, you must know this password to make changes to the configuration of the router. It is not the encryption key for wireless security. Wireless security is configured on the Wireless Security tab.

Setting up a password for my wireless internet

We have a linksys wireless router I believe, (and macbooks) and our wireless internet that both my roommate and I use is not secured...ie: anyone can connect to it. To prevent my neighbors in the apartments and buildings around us I would like to set up a password for my roommate and I for our wireless. I have no idea how to do this. Can someone tell me the steps or whatever I need to do?

You do this in the router's configuration. Most LinkSys routers can be accessed through your browser by entering the router's access address into your browser's address bar. For example, http://192.168.0.xxx, where xxx is the last node of the router's IP address. You will find this in the router's user manual in a section on configuring from a browser.
Once into the configuration pages look for a section on security. Choose WPA2 security (do not use WEP) and set your password. For additional protection you can also set up a "private" network in which you enter the MAC addresses of only the computers you will allow access. Even if someone hacks your password they will not be able to access your network unless you list their MAC address in the router's private network configuration.

In Pages 5.0.1 option to set password for editing document is gone when exporting as a pdf

In last version of Pages, I would make a proposal to a customer and then go to 'share' and then choose 'PDF' from the drop down. Next screen allowed me to choose the option of password protecting the document from being edited. This new version of Pages only seems to allow setting a password for opening the document. I do not need to password protect the document from being opened, just edited. Any help for this new problem? Apple always seems to remove features that are so helpful and useful when they 'upgrade' apps., very frustrating!

Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Somebody knows if it is possible to set a password for a pdf file created from a function module.
We are using different functions to generate the pdf (i.e. CONVERT_OTF, CONVERT_OTF_AND_ARCHIVE).
Are there some parameters to set this password, or also after archived it (with Archive Link)u2026

This has nothing to do with iPhoto. When I have this type of problem I call tech support for my email service. They probably are the only source of the correct settings

A few options to try:
They hyphen should be next to the + on the character map.
If you are still having issues, provided your ATV software is up to date, you can now connect an Apple Wireless Keyboard through bluetooth connections.
Change your network password so it does not use a hyphen

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.

It sounds like you have a a password-protected PDF. The password was set by the person who encoded it.

TS5223 Updated to iOS8. I don't remember the password for my old Apple ID or the password for that e-mail. I can't delete the iCloud account without knowing it, although my iTunes and everything else is set to the new Apple ID and password. Help?!

I keep getting pop-ups telling me to sign in to my iCloud and it's very annoying. If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID*, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
* If that's not the case, you'll have to contact the Apple account security team and ask for assistance resetting the password for the old ID: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. You'll have to be able to prove your identity to them before they will do this.

I took my iPhone 4s that I got for Mothers day of this year to the Apple store, because it would not activate after I restored it. So I have this new phone, did a restore from backup, and all is good. Except it keeps asking me for a password for my voicemail. Even if I am not in voicemail. Never had that problem before, and I did not set one up in my other phone, and do not want to set it up in this one. I tap on cancel and it goes away. But these little things really really bother me. I even have an issue with the iTunes Apple store asking me for my password every time I want to update. Sorry, it just bugs me. I can understand if I am buying something, but updates? And free apps? Anyway, if I have to I will keep tapping Cancel, but I never had an issue with my last iPhone 4s. Thank you.

How can I retrieve my password for the network I created or can I set-up a new one? I did try the latter, but it didn't seem to work on the new iMac for some reason. The password may be stored in your keychain on the system you set up the original PowerBook.
Run KeyChain access in the utilities filder and see if you have a Airport base station password entry, from this you can reveal the password.
