I (stupidly) changed the password on my handset then forgot it, I typed it in too many times, thinking when it said "handset will be wiped" they meant of pictures and contacts, so I remover my memory card and carried on (my contacts are all backed up so I didn't worry about them)
turns out they meant wipe everything including the operating system. I have no idea how to fix this and would love anyone who told me how to fix this very much and for a long time

A security wipe does not wipe or delete the operating system of the device.
It only deletes the user preferences, contacts, messages, email, calendar, etc., and basically leaves the device in a "like new" state.
I don't know what you did, if the operating system is deleted.

A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Well, it doesn't mean that at all. You can download music purchased with an Apple ID to up to 10 devices. There is no 90 day wait. The wait is if you change the Apple ID.

I think what you want is a 3D plot of a cylinder. I have attached an example using a parametric 3D plot.
You will probably want to duplicate the points for the first theta value to close the cylinder. I'm not sure what properties of the graph can be manipulated to make it easier to see.

Yes, you can do something like that. What you would do is create a button for each image and then hide them. When I do this type of thing I place all of the buttons on a template page and then hide the template.
You can then use JavaScript to copy the icon from any of the hidden buttons to the main button that you've set up to display the image. For example, suppose you set up 10 buttons named b1, b2, b3, ...b10. The code to copy the icon from one of them to the button used to display the image (b0) would be something like this:

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset

That's so you can text with your thumbs. If it does' tog back together automatically put your finger on the tiny typewriter and you should get a pop up to reconnect keyboard. Or more easily put a finger on each one and pop them together.

You have to start over by going to Settings>General>Reset and tapping Erase All Content & Settings. This will bring you back to the setup assistant screens.

Get separate IDs
RECEIVING MESSAGES INTENDED FOR OTHER DEVICES
This occurs if you are sharing the same Apple ID for imessages.
If you are receiving imessages intended for other devices you can fix this by going to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and do one of the following:
Uncheck the email address shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at" on both devices if they are iPhones; or
On one of the devices go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the Apple ID, sign out, then sign in with a different Apple ID. Note: you can continue to share an Apple ID for the iTunes & App store for purchasing if you wish; it does not need to be the same as the ID you use for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud and other services.
To prevent merging of your calendars and contacts when syncing calendars and contacts if you are using the same Apple ID for the iCloud account, be sure to set up separate iCloud accounts on each phone with separated IDs. Remember that if you change your ID in iTunes & App store, that apps and other purchased content is forever linked to the ID that was used to download the apps and the apps can only be updated with the ID that was originally used to download them. To download content purchased previously downloaded with a particular ID then that ID needs to be used to download past purchases. If you want all apps to be connected with the same ID you need to delete those apps downloaded with the old ID and download them again with your current and if the apps in question were paid apps then you need to pay again.
