Password & Login Pages not working

Good peoples,
Due to some stupid browsing I've got a little glitch in my computer, it happens with both safari & firefox. Basically, whenever I enter in a login & password on a page (these are non-Keychain passwords) it keeps looping back to the page with blank login & password entries. With Gmail, I can't even get to the login page. The address bar just keeps going through freak out and the browser is stuck in limbo. After a few scans and such, I've got Intego protection softwares, I'm confident that there isn't any malware but I think some glitch got into my computer before I shut it down.
Horribly embarresed here, deservedly so, can say with certainty I've learned my lesson.

For the record I've done:
*Various virus & trojan scans
*Repair Keychain, even though these passwords are not on my keychain
*Spoke with Intego Help
*Re installed Safari
*Tried and found the same problems in Firefox
*And cleaned out all of my caches & cookies

Password protected page not working

HI,
I have to password protect a single page (out of 3-4 pages) on a site. http://www.antlersowners.com/members.html
I used javascript because I didn't see a way in DW to password. Some users can get in - but others using IE8 cannot!
My question is: what is the best way to password a single page. Can I do it via DW.
BElow is the code for the page, I've set the link up to go to the javascript page which THEN goes to the html page.
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Jane

My question is: what is the best way to password a single page. Can I do it via DW.
As the others have said, forget about using client-side Javascript for any form of security. It achieves nothing and is easily circumvented.
At most, you would only use Javascript in the browser for basic validation of data entered by visitors (e.g. have the minimum required fields been filled out?). Nothing else. But in simple cases like this, I would not even bother with that. Security procedures must always be done on the server and this can take many forms from simple to complex.
My first port of call in simple situations such as yours is to go to the hosting panel on the website and set up a password protected directory/folder. Then upload your sensitive page to that folder. That's all you need to do.
The server will then launch a dialogue box requesting a username/password from anyone trying to access that page.
If you don't have access to a hosting panel then ask the website host to set up a password protected folder for you.

What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.

It's been a while but it should work on a Mac because Macs can read Windows formatted devices. Otherwise, you can perform a restore operation to return it to the Mac format. If you go to support.apple.com/manuals/ you can find a copy of the user manual for the model you have in which this is all explained.

Norton Login is not working with the upgrade from firefox. Not too happy about this

Adobe CC Education Eligibility Page Not Working!

I work for a university and bought the educational version of CC. When I clicked the link in the email provided by Adobe to upload verification of my employment... I filled out the form and when I click the button at the bottom that says "Review and Submit" I get a page not found error. Someone at Adobe please help!

Without a backup, the use of iTunes or the use of iCloud, your only choice is to restore the device as new to remove the passcode.

If the Autoconfig doesnt help, you might want to raise an SR, and you will also need to start debugging on Apache / JServ for more information. Steps to do this I once saved, and are pasted below:
Enable Apache debug as follows
a.cd $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs
delete or backup all the log files
b.cd $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/logs
delete or backup all log files
c.cd $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Jserv/logs/jvm/
delete or backup the files
e.vi $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf
Set LogLevel debug
f.vi $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/etc/jserv.conf
Set ApJServLogLevel debug
g.vi $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/etc/jserv.properties
Set following:
log=true....
log.file=//../<SID>_ora/iAS/Apache/Jserv/logs/jserv.log

Restart the Apache Server

Upload the FRESH Logs from following Directories in ZIP Format.
1.From "$IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs"
2.From "$IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/logs"
3.From "$IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/logs/jvm"
Also, if you are just getting a blank screen then you might want to recompile JSPs via adadmin.

Is the update page not working for apps? I cannot get it to load with any of our devices. iPhones or iPads?

There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

Login php page not working in dw cs3

I am new to php. I created a login (php5.2.5) page using
dreamweaver cs3 with mysql database. I have added
the login user server behaviour. When I preview, the login
page opens, i enter the username and password, but
the username and password is not validated and page not
redirected, remains as it is. I get the following error
