Password not sent from EP to backend System in Replication

Hi,
I am trying to replicate user data from Enterprise portal to R/3 system. And i was successful in doing so but the problem is when i create a user in EP then the same user is created in the backend system but password is not being set. The backend System says PasswordDeactivated.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this.

Kindly check if your partner profile is active. (Indicated by 'A')
Sometimes if your partner profile is not active, you wont be able to distribute your model. Check the 'A' indicator

Try putting $ (a dollar sign) in front of the password.

Could somebody help us to configure the follow-on documents (Purchase order and Contract) from Live Auction (SRM Server 5.5) to backend system (R/3 4.6C)?
We are using the classic scenario in (SRM Server 5.5).

Mail not sent from iphone mail app

I tried to send a mail through the mail app through my gmail account. Was shocked that the mail was not sent nor I can find it in any of "sent" or "draft" boxes. And the very disappointing thing about this problem is that there was no errors, and I just knew about 12 hours later from the expected recipient that he did not receive my mail.

I hate iOS 7, thus I mat start to hate iPhone and Apple.

Has the Mobile Me account been set up on your iPhone as POP rather than IMAP? If it has been set up as POP then any message sent will not be mirrored. Your Mobile Me account should also be configured as IMAP on all your devices in order to see those messages in your Sent Items folder.
The idea of IMAP is to be device independent such that whatever you do is mirrored on all your devices as they each synchronize with Mobile Me. I suppose you could view the Mobile Me "cloud" as being the main repository. If you delete a message from your Inbox via your iPhone, the next time you connect your Mac that message will not appear in the associated Inbox in Mail.
Does that make sense?

Message not sent from BPM

Hi,
I have modeled a BPM in which Idoc is received from ERP and it is sent to CRM.
When I see in SXMB_MONI, I find a message with PE as outbound. The Workflow shows it is completed and the last step in Workflow is "Send message Asynchronnously" with Workflow result "Transfer message to Pipeline".
But the message is not received in CRM. When I displat the message in SXMB_MONI, I find the following:
1.Original Message
2. Acknowledgement
3. PE_Adapter
When I go to the 1st and third message, The last step it is stuck up is "Call Adapter". But later nothing has hapenned.
Anyone has any idea regarding this.

HI Faulhaber,
I used Process view and it only shows the message recived from Source to BPM. But no message exists which shows Message sent from BPM to Destination.
But Workflow log shows Message Sent asynchronously.
May be I think there is some problem in configuration.

No password, not booting from CD

I got a used iBook yesterday. It is booting only in safe mode, and no matter what I try (holding down C key, holding down shift) it will only boot up in safe mode with the previous owner's log in screen. They don't remember their password, and its not booting from the disc. I think I'm missing something pretty simple here...

Email notfication Not sent from calandar

when you create a new task or event in calandar and select send email reminder an email is not sent. I just want to know where I can look to check the mail setting for the calander server because we believe that it is just not pointing to the right location.

IDOCs sent from sender R/3 system do not reach XI system

Hello everyone,
We have a IDOC to JDBC scenario in place.
Sender R/3 system is R1A. XI system is XDA.
IDOCs are successfully sent out of R1A:
On R1A.(R/3)
1. WE05 shows data passed to Port OK
2. SM58 does not show the IDOC to be stuck in TRFC queue
On XDA (XI)
1. Port has been mentioned in IDX1
2. IDOC Adapter monitoring (IDX5) does not show any message from R1A.
3. SXMB_MONI does not show any message from R1A.
The above scenario is for acceptance box.
On Dev boxes (RDD and XDD)the same scenario works OK.
Could we be missing something in the ALE configuration?
If there was something wrong in the Integration Scenario, then atleast the IDOCs should have reached XDA right?

The option to Transfer IDOCS Immediately was not working. All IDOCs were later sent Batchwise successfully.
The Basis team is investigating why IDOCs are not transferred immediately.

Password not sent with mail during creation of new acct on GRC 10

Hello Experts,
When a new user is being created and when his access has been approved and he gets the closing mail the system is not sending a password mail or password with that closing mail.
Is there some setting which needs to be done for this to be able to send out password with mails.
When I do just a PSS it sends out mails to users.

In the notification emails, do you get details of the new User ID created and the roles assigned per system etc? We had issues earlier in a project when creating the POC system as the notifications would provide the message "Error In Provisioning" whilst the Application logs stated everything was created and provisioned correctly.
I noticed that you have issues in being able to assign a "End of Request" e-mail notification in the first step of the MSMP config. It may be worth getting in touch with SAP.
As you are on SP07, the notes I had to implement are not applicable as they were all included into the SP07 release.
It might be worth checking with Basis that the password parameters have been set up for the system password wizard etc.

Just to be sure, could you please check whether the RFC radio button is selected in ATTRIBUTES Tab of SE37 for your RFC. Also check if the RFC is active.

How can i open a attachment with the fileextension .note sent from an Ipad

A friend of mine sent me an email from his Ipad with an attachment which has the extension .note. How can I open this file on my Mac?

It appears that this extension is related to the ipad app 'notability'. It would have to be exported as a pdf or rtf file to be opened.
You can do some googling, but might be better if the sender converts the file to something more common and sends again.

Replies are not sent from default account

When I reply to some messages, Thunderbird does not select the default SMTP server (plusnet) but inserts one from an obsolete list (tiscali). This server is no longer an option on any of the accounts. Is there a way to remove this from the available 'from' list.

That's what is (sort of) interesting. I have already deleted tiscali as a SMTP server, but in the drop down list when sending a message, tiscali is still there. When I write a new message, TB correctly selects my correct default server (plusnet). However when replying to a message (even though it has been sent to a plusnet account, TB sometimes selects the tiscali one [which or course I don't notice] and causes no end of confusion at the recipient's end!

Solaris 10 will not boot from DVD on my system

I first installed Solaris 10 on my system and it worked fine. Then when it went to boot the OS it just kept rebooting. I must have made a midtake in the install so went to install it again.
Problem is that now the DVD will not boot and give me the option to install Solaris like it did before. It instead goes straight into GRUB. I thought that this was because of the previous install on the hardrive. But then I disconnected my harddrives and still the same problem.
I tried the disk on another system and the disk booted with the option to install Solaris. So the question is why does the disc boot into GRUB even when there is no hard drives attached to my machine

The last entry in the vfstab file is the only entry I added myself. It is a secondary hard disk that I mounted to the directory /data. Everything else was automatically created at install according to the partitions that I defined.

Wallpaper not loaded from external drive on system startup.

I have a lot of wallpapers and keep them on an external drive. However, after a restart they are not used, the default system wallpaper is loaded instead. (The external drive's partition appears long after the wallpaper should have been loaded.)
The same happens when I copy the pictures to a network drive, that is mapped automatically after logging in.

I did a test on my iMac with jpegs stored in a folder on my external drive. My drive is Firewire 800 but don’t think that should make a difference. Restarted the computer. A few moments after I had logged into the system, the external wallpaper photos displayed as expected. Not sure what to suggest. May not work, but you might go into System preferences and change your selection of wallpaper photos, close System Preferences, and then change back to what you want to see if that resets something.
