Password not taking

dear friends,
i am first time using form 6i
i am using oracle 8.1.7 , when i have installed i gave the global database name as amar in my pc.
now i have downloaded 'form 6i rel-2' and installed it in that pc in o.s windows xp professional, such as
form developer , then report developer , and then net 8 configuration
every thing goes perfect in installation.
but when i am using form builder for data entry form at the data block wizard , for table or view it will
ask for user name, password , and database name
i have tried it with scott , sys and system of user name but is not working it is telling me
that 'ora-12154: tns could not resolve service name"
what will be problem i didnot understand..
i have also installed it properly .
my global database name is amar( i have to manually start it and the tns listner )
only one user that is scott

so i had given that name in hosts file which is in c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc with that ip address of my internet
and also in report devloper TNS name.

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

You can on create an iCloud account on an iiPhone, iPad or iPod Touch( running iOS 5 or higher) or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher).
After creating an account on one of these devices you can then sign into the account on your PC, but you can't create the account on a PC.

IWeb password not working

I have made some changes to my website in iWeb, but when I try to publish it, and enter my password, it is not taking it. It has been a long time since I've made any changes. What am I missing here?

Remember that the FTP password may be different from the password required to login to your hosting account. You need to check with your hosting service to see if you have the correct one.

BO Custom class not taking effect

Extended WrapperCrmWecRegisterBase and WrapperCrmWecRegisterConsumer with

I got a MacBook Pro today. The previous owner had Apple wipe it clean for the new owner, me. When I first tried putting my wifi password in, I wasn't remembering exactly what it was, so I tried many different possibilities. Since then, I found my password in my office. I put it in, when it asked for it. But, it's not taking it. It just says searching for networks. And, this is after I identified the correct network. So, I am wondering if perhaps after a number of "tries" does it not accept ANY further attempts ? You know like Banking passwords....you get locked out. I'm wondering if I'm locked out?

No, not like a bank timeout.
Open keychain in your Utilities Folder and look for old router password, or delete wrong passwords.
You can always reset your router password to something new that you can remember.

I was about to answer this question by directing the user to Keychain Access, where he could find the relevant website and simply delete it.
For as long as I've known, if you tell a website to never save passwords for it, Safari would create a Keychain entry with the website URL along with the note "passwords not saved". From that moment on, Safari would not ask if you'd like to save the password. The Keychain entry was self-explanatory; if you asked Keychain to show the password the field would be blank.
So, I checked my Keychain for the several secure financial websites where I store various amounts of the enormous Galt wealth all over the globe. They're not in Keychain any more - they're gone completely!
I suspect this happened when I updated Safari from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5, since I got the familiar popup "Keychain has been updated" etc.
Something must tell Safari not to ask to store a password for a particular website, and without a Keychain entry, it can't be the Keychain, right? So what is it now? A cookie?

Thanks, BD, this makes sense to me, though I can't seem to find a Login keychain I think I understand what's going on now.
The difficulty seems to be function of how Safari interacts with secure websites, and that's changed with Safari's evolution. At one time Safari would give you the option of saving names and passwords no matter what. They were stored in Safari's Autofill preferences while the actual passwords were stored in the Keychain. Later, it appears that Safari began to honor a secure website's request to not even do that, so I'm never given the choice. Those Keychain entries disappeared.
Firefox behaves differently still. At least one secure website will not allow Safari to autofill, but the same one will autofill with Firefox. It requires a ridiculously secure, non-memorable password, such as U*ng%!+{&.4 - you know, the kind you have to write on a Post-It note stuck to your monitor since it expires every 36 hours. It's a government website and by definition, stupid. For that one I use Firefox.
I would surmise that if the internet standards allow for a choice, Apple is taking the more secure route.
So, some websites, even though their address starts with https:// allow Safari to store names and passwords. I surmise that some do not; for those Safari will not even give you the option. I was looking for those in my Keychain - now they're gone, and I guess that's the way it's going to be!

Changed Password Not working after restart[What to do]

Recently I've changed my password, but it's not working after restart.
I've noticed that, input option is not taking one of the password characters which is '!'.
I've the recovery disks, system accepts my fingerprint too.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Let me explain you what happened.
One evening I was trying to open my ThinkPad. Usually it asks for
fingerprint or password(I'm not sure which password, power-on/hard
drive). But this time I failed using my finger. and I tried with
password, but could not recall.
Then I restart and again tried with finger, this time it worked. Now
after login in Windows XP I removed all old fingerprints and create
few new. When I create new, it was asking for password, or new
password to replace. As I could not recall the pass, I've given new
password to replace.
Now to check I gave a restart. Fingerprint accepted for Power-on but
also asking for password again(Now I can see it's for Hard Drive). I
tried with new password. But it's not working. And even not taking one
character ('!') of the password.
Now can you tell me, if I did change password for Hard Drive in the
last description. Or is that possible to change it from Windows XP
environment. Else it's possible that the Hard Drive password remain as
it was which has been set from ThinkVantage before OS boot. Let me
know if you've any query which I've missed.

Not taking DHCP

My WRT300N Router is not taking ip address from my modem. If i connect this modem directly to a pc, it will assign the ip address.
I have a sattelite internet connection.
Can anybody help. May be the router needs some configuration.

well , you can try out one simple thing here...ensure that you have the proper connections made between the router and the modem....access the router using http://192.168.1.1 .. keep the username blank and password is by default " admin "... you will get to the set up page of the router .. click on "mac address clone" subtab..enable it and click "clone"...unplug the power from the router and from the modem....wait for a min and then plug the power in the modem..after the light stops blinking on the modem..plug in the router....
now, you will find an ip address on the status page of the router...and if you do not get an ip address even after this setting...go for the firmware upgrade on the router....

Trying to send email from withinn iPhoto always get message saying password not recognised even though set correct password email address within preferences in iPhoto. Believe this started when I upgraded to Lion.

macbook pro 2012 user password not recognized after 10.9.4 too 10.9.5 upgrade plus tech work at apple.
I want to change user password, it is allowing me to get into user account and admin account on computer but I recently changed it for the tech work to be done. I would like to put the password back now to old password or a new one but... The few days old new password pre update and pre tech work is not being accepted to allow me to change to another password.
recent update, after 10.9.4 to 10.9.5 update and apple tech work done.
1. Tech work replaced optical drive,
2. 10.9.4 to 10.9.5 upgrade left computer endlessly booting up, then got into finder window tried to read backup drive and screen went to black curser and could not backup information as techs decided may need to be done before I left it with them.
3. Also track pad was not (is not again) selecting text to drag unless real hard press and then only intermittently would select text or just drop the selection (not hold the selected text after a long scroll select, did work at first after tech work but back to not working). It is still not responding easily when pressed, but it is much better, as they did something with software they said. Today While typing this I am trying to select words misspelled and it does not select them unless I press not as hard it is becoming the same as before I see now, sometimes less pressure is needed but more than should be used.
I noticed today after tech work The Spell check is not responding with a two finger tap on the red underlined misspelled words without multiple try's with two finger tap. The curser moves around after selecting words also, or when selecting words so hard the curser moves to another place not on the desired words or check box. The curser arrow tip should select the word but it does not recognize unless I put the tail of the arrow onto the word then it recognizes the misspelled word for spell check on two finger gesture.
It looks like I need to take it back, I tried to call and check to confirm if the track pad intermittently and curser adjustment was serviced. In order to verify I had called three times to get that information to no avail. endless looped in the phone que, one would answer take info and then forward me to a endless loop dial ing phone that never was picked up, supposedly at the Bay street store tech section. Phone voice mail from apple support status on the repair, ...Juliano from Bay Street Apple repair store Emeryville, ca left a voice message... just generically said optical drive replacement is successfulI, I noticed right away three items were to be addressed but only the optical drive was mentioned, so I called three times to try and verify the other problems. One whole minute just to select this text and copy it to notes for a backup. It would not select at first, then after selected it would not copy it, then it would not paste to notes, it paste the last cut and paste I did 10 minutes ago.
I do not have a easy excellent wifi connection for my wifi only phone and would prefer email or chat for repair help. apple Repair No: R142180337

Try running the combo update. It fixes more files/data than the App Store upgrade.

a employee whose exemption is taking place /3m1 wage type generated , while for those employees for which exempted for Income Tax in not taking place /3m1 is not generating .
IT-589 is maintained , and having amount 2MER(Medical reimbursement wage type) .
IT-267 is also having entry for Off-cycle Payment .
Emp X , having IT-589 , 2MER : 16,200 , for the duration of 01.04.2008 to 31.03.2009
for the month of May-2008 , He claims Rs. 1395.00 .
He has both wage types 2MER = 1395.00 and /3m1 = 1395.00 .
Employee X is correct case .
Emp Y : is wrong case where tax exemption is not taking place .
having IT-589 , 2MER : 30,600.00 , for the duration of 01.04.2008 to 31.03.2009
for the month of May-2008 , He claims Rs. 2086.00 .
He has both wage types 2MER = 2086.00 and /3m1 is not here .
what is required in ordfer to correct this wrong case (Employee - Y) .

I have checked the Log of payroll both Correct case 'Emp-X' and wrong case 'Emp-Y'
Both emps are of same department and same location .
incase of Emp-X , Payroll-function INMED generates /3m1 wage type
while in case of EMP-Y it is not generating .
Why this is happening and how to correct it ?????.
