Password not working on My Verizon Mobile app on iPad

I downloaded the My Verizon Mobile app to my iPad. When I try to sign in, it says the password is incorrect. I am able to sign in to my account using the Safari browser on the iPad, so I know the password I am using is correct. Why is my password not accepted by the My Verizon Mobile app on my iPad?

I traveled to a local Starbucks and used their WiFi as you suggested. I was still not able to log in on my iPad there either.
However, I did have an idea. I scrolled down to the bottom of the Verizonwireless.com home page where it says "view full website." I then went through the same steps of entering my phone number, answering my secret question, and entering my password. It worked!
So, trying to log in on the mobile website did not work, but logging in on the "full" website did work. Your tech support team might want to check this out, since others might have the same issue.

Earlier today, I attempted to log into the My Verizon Mobile app for the first time. When I went to log in, it just asked for a username and password. I had just automatically assumed that I had made an account when I had initially set up the phone so I tried every combination of usernames and passwords that I thought I might have used. However, none of them worked so I clicked on the "Forgot my password" button. It gave me a temporary password to use and I tried logging in with that and I was able to make a new password. Eventually I found out that the username was my 10-digit phone number. But then, when I went back in to try and log in, it automatically transferred me over to the "Forgot my password" page. It has done that ever since. I've tried several different things to try and get it to convert back; I turned my phone off and back on, I let my phone die, I uninstalled all the updates then reinstalled them, and I cleared the data for it. It still won't let me do anything else.
Help me please.

My Verizon is an excellent way to manage your account, bobo8670! So I certainly understand your desire to get logged in and start using it. My suggestion would be to go to vzw.com on your PC and then select "Forgot my Password" Then follow the instructions to make the change. Once this is completed, you will be able to log into the mobile application on your phone. Please let me know if you need additional assistance. Have a great day,

Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Tap your ID and sign out. Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Go back to the settings and sign back in again and see of it works now.
If it doesn't work, post back with some information that might help us help you. Describe what you are doing in some detail and it might let us better understand why this is happening.

How to Password Protect a Page of Your Mobile App

I am trying to password protect few pages of my mobile app. I am building the app using Jquery Mobile in Dreamweaver for IOS and Android. What is the best way to password protect a page? I am not looking to create a login page..I just want to create few password protected pages that require just one password. Is there a way to do it in Dreamweaver?

AFAIK, you cannot password protect one section of a jQuery Mobile page. It's either all protected or it's not protected.

Thumbnails not displaying in SAP BI Mobile app

Hello all,
I have published a Design Studio dashboard to the SAP BI App on Ipad and it's all working fine.
However, I haven't managed to customise an image to be displayed as Thumbnail when displaying all reports in the 'Tile Mode' (as opposed to the 'List Mode')
According to the Mobile App administration guide, I have added the image URL to the Keywords section in the document's properties but it has had no effect on the view (It just shows the tile as an empty white square).
Please see below the details of the environment:
SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 2 Version 14.1.2.1121
SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio 1.2
SAP BusinessObjects Mobile App for IPad Version 5.1.8
iPad iOs 7.1
Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated

Sound alerts not working in Mail and Ichat apps since upgrade to 10.4.9

I just noticed my Sound alets not working in Mail and Ichat apps since upgrade to 10.4.9.
I'm using soundsticks which is playing sounds thru quicktime, itunes, etc but my alert sounds for getting new emails and IM messages is not working. I get the quick "white flash" on the screen instead. I checked the prefs on both apps and it is set to give me the alert sound, I can even test it in the ichat pref when I change the new message alert sound it will play it thru my speakers but when I get a new message in either app it just gives me the white flash.
I'm read that it can be an issue of not having the balance in the system sound pref set the middle, so I checked that, restarted, all that but still no luck.
I really like the sound alert features because I can be in another part of my house, turn the sound way up and I'll know when one of my clients is trying to reach me but now I can't do that.
Any ideas?

I got a MacBook Pro today. The previous owner had Apple wipe it clean for the new owner, me. When I first tried putting my wifi password in, I wasn't remembering exactly what it was, so I tried many different possibilities. Since then, I found my password in my office. I put it in, when it asked for it. But, it's not taking it. It just says searching for networks. And, this is after I identified the correct network. So, I am wondering if perhaps after a number of "tries" does it not accept ANY further attempts ? You know like Banking passwords....you get locked out. I'm wondering if I'm locked out?

No, not like a bank timeout.
Open keychain in your Utilities Folder and look for old router password, or delete wrong passwords.
You can always reset your router password to something new that you can remember.

Hi I have had nothing but problems today I think my account has been hacked. Couldn't log in to Skype on PC or iPad kept saying my password was incorrect, though same password I have always had. I changed my password by having Skype send me a new one to my email. I activated it and created new password and all good. IN the middle of a call it shut down suddenly and when I tried to log on again, it said it didn't recognise the password I only just created that had worked already. Kept trying and still nothing. So I went to create a THIRD password and now skype is saying my email address doesn't exist. I have had this account for years and they only just sent me a new password to that email address so it certainly does exist. Left for a few hours and now tried again and it says i have tried too many times today. I have actually tried to create new account to be able to use skype. Can anyone explain what is happening? I am currently scanning for viruses but i really want to be able to use my old account with all my contacts on it rather than start from scratch! My mother in law is having the same problem with her account so I wonder if it's a virus?? At the same time I have started receiving a bunch of emails from 'skype' in Chinese so I assume this is connected somehow? Please any ideas on how to fix this?!

What make, model, and version WiFi router are you using?
What router firmware level?
What type of security do you have configured? WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.
