Dear All,

Regard

Hi
If you are unable to login you need to delete SAP* so that it will be recreated and you can login as sap*/pass
Try doing this
login to ora<sid>
sqlplus u201C/as sysdbau201D
delete SAPSR3. USR02 where BNAME = 'SAP*' and MANDT='000';
commit;
bounce the server for paramter to take effect then try with sap* and pass
SAPSR3 would be your schemaid
To find the schema, perform u201Cenv | grep schemau201D (if its unix platform) windows check in enivronement variable for schema id
See that you have parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0
then only we can reset sap* password
If the parameter doesn't exist then maintain in instance profile
/usr/sap/SID/SYS/profiles/SID_DVEBMGS00_Host
with entry login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 and bounce the server
please look this link

  • Password forgot in 000 client

    Hi Basis Gurus,
We have forgotten our sap* and ddic password in 000 client.
Please tell us the steps how to reset it.
    Please help us
    Regards,
    Anil.

    Hi Anil,
    Connect to DB
    SQL> conn / as sysdba
    SQL> delete from Schemaowner.USR02 where bname ='SAP*' and mandt=000;
    SQL> delete from Schemaowner.USR02 where bname ='DDIC' and mandt=000;
    SQL>commit;
Now login to 000 client with SAP* and PASS as password and create DDIC and SAP* users with new password .
    Regards,
    Kalyan

  • How to unlock DDIC & SAP* user in 000 client-Sybase database

    Dear Experts,
Accidentally DDIC and SAP* user in 000 client has locked. We are using SYBASE ASE database. I know how to unlock user in other database (eg:update <sid>.USR02 set UFLAG = 0 where BNAME = '<user id>'' and mandt = <clinet number>;).
what is the equal query in Sybase.
    Thanks, Jyothish

    Hi Jyothish,
    Please try below commands
Login to Sybase ASE database using
isql -Usa -S<SID>  ( it will prompt for password)
    use <DBSID>
    To check the account status
select UFLAG from USR02 where BNAME ='SAP*' and MANDT='000'
    go
    To unlock the account
    update USR02 set UFLAG=0 where BNAME='SAP*' and MANDT='000'
    go
You may add schema owner SAPSR3.USR02 in the query if above query does not work.
    Hope this helps.

    Deepak Kori

  • Error in editing object: Error in RFC to Solution Manger System

    Hi All,
Our System release is ERP 6.0 EhP4 and our DB is Oracle.
When we try to create or edit any object (eg: Function module, package, function group, tables) in our system and save it in a local workbench request, we are getting an error which states:  Error in editing object: Error in RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK to Solution Manger System.
Though we have deleted the RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK, we still get the same error when we try to edit an object and save it in a workbench request. But when we save all these in a local object instead of a package we do not get any error.
Can any one please suggest some solution for this?? As we are held up in some critical activity.
    Regards,
    Yamini.

    Hi,
Not sure - but maybe a cross system lock seems to exist. Perhaps you can check this:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_em70/helpdata/en/43/7227481a856fcae10000000a1553f6/content.htm
Or else create the Back RFC to SolMan and check how it proceeds.

  • Solution manger error

    Dear All,
I installed solution manager when i log on with sap* user in 000 client I am getting this error can any body help me
    Error analysis
In a statement an invalid request was made to the database interface
    when accessing table "DOKTL ".
    How to correct the error
Start the work process affected and repeat the action that lead to the
    error.
If the error is occurring in a program that you can make changes to,
you should try to solve the problem yourself: Reformulate the database
command by varying its attributes. Single record accesses can be
replaced by input/output using internal tables and vice versa, selection
criteria (WHERE clause) can be restructured, and nested SELECT loops can
be replaced by FOR ALL ENTRIES and similar formulations.
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
Also check the entires in the developers trace for the correspond
    corresponding work process (transaction ST11).
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST C
    SAPLSDOC or "LSDOCU09"
    DOCU_GET

Check the "analysis" section of the dump, you get there a detailed information about the error.
The problem is related to the database, you have a problem with the table DOCTL.

  • How to change the password of ddic in 000,sap* user is disabled

    Hi
SAP* user is disabled in 000 client in my production server,I can't enable it as it will require outage which is not possible now
I want to use ddic user to login in 000 but I forgot the password,is there any query to change the password for ddic user.My database is SQL server 2005
    Rohit

    Hi,
Better to activate SAP* user instead of trying for the DDIC user .
Either use the Query Delete from usr02.sapr3 where bname = 'SAP*' and mandt = '000'  or delete the
user SAP* from USR02 table where mandt value is 000 through SQL Visual Studio .
Check  the  value  login/no_automatic_user_sapstar in RZ11 , if it is zero , no need to restart the instance .
Otherwise change it  to 0 , restart the instance.
Now you will be able to login with the password pass.

  • Password protecting a thick Java client

Any ideas on the best way to password protect a thick Java client?
I write a standalone application. In the current version, I give users a password, but that password can easily be shared from host to host.
I need a mechanism that makes it much more difficult for joe nobody to simply get the password from his buddy.

    James
eTester can record thick client app HTTP requests, you should use:
    A external proxy recorder:
    - Options -> Current Script -> Recording -> Proxy and select record navigations in a external application.
    - Remove the ;application/* from the exclude statement
    - Set the proxy of the thick Java app to point to, localhost on port 7777
If the thick java app is a Java Applet you will need to set the JVM to point to the porxy at locahost 7777 to do so:
    - Start -> Control Panel -> Double click on Java -> under the general tab select network settings, select use proxy server and enter the proxy settings.
    Happy recording !!!!

  • Export to Office and PDF solutions fail on client machines, HTML works

I have created a nice Dashboard with the Trial version ($495). My client was very happy with the solution so I want to buy the software. However, there is one problem that I have encountered. When I deploy the solution on my clients machines they get a secuity eror with XCelcius solutions Exported to Office formats, .PowerPoint, Word, and also PDF. When I export to HTML the solution works perfectly on my clients IE8 browser.
I only need the features of the $195 version and not the additonal features of teh $495 (except maybe the HTML export).
My client system configuration is as follows:
    Flash WIN 10,0,45,2
    I have  XCelcius version 5.3.0.0, Build # 12,3,0,670.
Since the client can get the HTML version working I assume that the bowser version of Flash is correct. Does Office use a different Flash executable than the browser?
Are there any instructions to remedy this problem on the client machines running XCelcuis Office exported solutions.
    Great product.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, this worked a treat, thanks very much! *

    * Note that I needed to manually remove iWorks as the For_iWork:iWork '09:iWork9Update5.dmg.zip file wouldn't work on the latest version of iWorks. This involved deleting the iWork folders in the Applications and Library directories.

  • ECATT with solution manger?.

    Hi,
Anybody explain what is relation between eCATT with solution manger?.
Ecatt implied with solution manager or need connect R/3
How to integrate solution manger and ecatt?
What is the exact functionality of Solution manger? Why going to use ecatt solution
    Manager also .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Sri ram,
eCATT is a tool to design test scripts.. A test script built by eCATT is like a recorded transaction .. which you use to re run by supplying different test data... means if you record it once.. you can use it with different test data ..
eCATT is part of WAS and is available in ERP and as well as Solution Manager..
Once you build all the eCATT's in ERP you can assign them to (SOLAR02-Configuration window) the blue print.. .. there is tab test cases where you can attach a test script which you created in ERP and the variant (Test data) which is to be used while testing.. (Test script + Test data) become one test case...
You can build test plan basing on all the test cases you attached to blueprint... STWB_2....You need select which all test cases are part of this test plan...
Once the test plan is created you have to create test packages which are collection of test cases and you can assign testers to these test packages.....
Once these test packages are assigned to testers the testers can access the test cases attached to them and they can run them... ecatt runs automatically and with designated data and will record the result.. Transaction STWB_WORK for testers to access the test packages...
eCATT - is to automate testing....
Solution Manager - Provides test work bench where you can create test plans, test packages.... allowing you to manage testing. monitoring and reporting...
Hope this helps you to understand eCATT and relation of it with Solution manager ...
As suggested by Srinivasan please go through Sapna's eCATT blogs.. they are just wonderful source of information for eCATT..
Please do come back if you require any further details...

  • Is Solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004s ?

Is solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004S ?
    Thanks,
    BP.

SAP will not provide solman key. However it will provide a solution manager free for ERP software. The first system that should be installed is solman in the landscape. By making solman mandatory SAP wants to regulate the irregularities in the annual fees payment by the customers. It want their customers to habituate to this software, so it provided some of the usefull concepts in solman i.e central administration of all systems in the landscape, preparation of implementation projects using ASAP methodology, maintaining service level agreement reports, provides service desk option(ticketing tool), early watch alerts etc.
So upgrade to NW2004s it is mandatory that you have solman installed.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
