Password protection 4 FF3 but not Safari?

greetings.
first, i was able to post my albums from iweb on the web using safari only and not FF3. The password protection was working for safari. Then i found a handy patch to allow iweb to work on FF3. Now, however, the password protection only works when i open in FF3 but not Safari. weird. Anyone have this problem or have any tips?

it also helped to uncheck the "Miscellaneous" option in he "MIME Types" box in preferences
things are now working as they should

is it possible to just password protect, say "Notes" ? Say, i wanted to store a bunch of password information in there, and would like to have it password protected from anyone else to see. Want to password protect Desktop but not Handheld.

I have it sync at work, and home. At work, it is possible for multiple users to get on the machine.
Rather than force me to use a password to open the Handheld and home Palm Desktop, and rather than make all information private, is there a way to just password protect the Palm Desktop at work?

Has anyone had their Desktop stop requiring the password? My PalmZ handheld still requires it. The Desktop will still hide the items but no longer requires the password to show them. I have tried resetting password. I have tried rebooting computer. Thanks for any insight. I'm presuming some downloaded update for another program affected my Desktop Palm settings.

Password protected PDF files not opening in Android

Hi
I was trying to open my credit card statement on my Android Galaxy S2 I9100 phone. Although it looks like that the Adobe reader 10.0.2 version (Build 40862) is capable of opening Password protected files but I got an error "The document cannot be opened because it is corrupted or damaged."
I tried downloading it multiple times but faced the same issue. I googled and found that the similar issue has been reported by other users as well.
Is this a known issue? Or am I doing something wrong? Please help.

Normally this error message comes when the pdf content is corrupt.
Can you provide us with few more details to help us narrow down the cause.
1. Are you able to open it on Desktop Adobe Reader ?
2. Are you not able to open any of your credit card statements ?
3. If possible can you share the pdf with us, so that we can isolate the issue at our end(your data will be kept confidential). If not can you share the name of the bank on which your credit card is issued so that we can get hold of similar pdf ?

Flash 10 works in FF but not Safari, OS X 10.5

About a week ago flash stopped working in Safari and both firefox and safari started bugging me to install a newer version. Muttering, I went to the download page and downloaded the latest, which claims to be for Safari, Opera, and firefox.
Installation completes fine with no errors. Firefox works. But in Safari, I just get the usual 'no flash installed, would you like to download it?'
I've downloaded and installed multiple times, no dice. Plug-ins are enabled on Safari. I do not have settings folders to delete--/Library/Application Supprt/Adobe has no flash player folder, only Acrobat, Updater6, and Help.
This whole thing is a black box and I don't see what else to do. Installation completes and there's no way to verify anything. Any ideas would be welcome.

I am unable to completely uninstall the old version. After receiving the error message it reloades the older version. I read about how to modify the registry to accept it but I believe this is a very wierd way to have to get an update loaded. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know why my rollover stopped working in Safari,
but it works fine in IE and Camino?
I did a simple rollover to display before and after images
and I swear, yesterday when testing it in Safari It worked fine.
Today it doesn't work on any of my 3 macs here. It displays fine on

Configuring the server would allow the OP to use file names
with no
extension [1], which imho would be a better approach [2].

Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

Password protected PDF document not opened with nokia E7-00. Previously I used nokia N79, that time I was able to open Password protected PDF file such as bank email statement etc. Now I can't.

you may want to search under "PDF" in the Nokia Store, as some solutions such as Picsel Smart Office exist, where they do open password-protected PDF's.

Table borders show up with Firefox or IE but not Safari (Win or MAC)

This very simple site (http://www.brandondean.net) has two table borders that show up under FF and IE but not Safari (either Win v4.0 or Safari for MAC, same result). I'm not an expert but I did the work using Dreamweaver 2004 MX as XHTML compliant, tested every page at W3C.org to make sure they comply with XHTML, and they do (except for my not putting in "alt" on images). I even downloaded Dreamweaver CS4 to run the "clean up the code" command and nothing is fixing the problem. I'm hoping someone out there has seen this before and can help us out. Thx.

It's probably just because the border widths you are specifying are too small (or WebKit is interpreting picas differently to Firefox/IE - I say WebKit as the same problem is visible in Google Chrome and that uses WebKit like Safari as well).
Try setting using this instead:

If you have never shared your password with anyone then your account was hacked. NOT your iPhone, your Apple ID. If you use the same password for other accounts any of them could have been hacked, and your password obtained from that other account. If your password was simple it could have been hacked by brute force. If it is a word found in any dictionary especially. Or if there is anything personally identifiable about it (nickname, pets name, address, name of someone you know).
The really important thing is to get it resolved QUICKLY with Apple Security, and to change all passwords that might have been stored in an iCloud backup of your phone.

Flash MP3 Player shows update in other browser but NOT Safari

I am working with a Dreamweaver Document with Flash component inserted into the layout. One of the Flash Components is a MP3 player. The player is configured using javascript and refers to a file named "config.html"
This file contains the actual mp3 information (name, title, location on server,etc).
When this info is updated, the new songs "been here.mp3, etc." appear to be updated in other browsers but NOT Safari. Safari continues to read the original "config.html" instead of reading the new update version of "config.html.
How can this happen, is there a phantom version of the original "config.html" that I do not see? How can I get it to load the new songs instead of the old ones? Is the problem within my Prefences?
