I did not received password reminder to my mail [e-mail removed for privacy and security]. I checked spam pholder and trash on my mail. Can you help me ? My correct account on skype is registered for this adress [e-mail removed for privacy and security].

Sounds like you are looking for something like a thread that watches the age of the password in the directory and notifies the user when an 'expiry' event is detected (based on the clock).
There is nothing in the product that is time or 'monitor' based. You could easily build such a service and execute it from the system (cron / scheduled tasks). Consume obPasswordCreationDate and work your magic from there. I've also had some good success building on such features using quartz [http://www.opensymphony.com/quartz/].
All OAM event process are based on user initiated events - login in the case of password expiry notification warning.

How can I revert to password reminder bar rather than the notification that I now get which obscures a bit of the page

The notifcation 'do you want Firefox to remember the password for ... on ... used to appear as a horizontal bar at the top of the page, below the tabs.
It now covers part of the top left of the page as a type of 'call-out'. I want to remember passwords for certain sites and continue to see the reminder but I don't want it to hide part of the page. This is worse in my netbook as the screen is relatively small so the proportion of the page obscured is relatively high. In which version did it change? How can I get the password reminder to revert to a horizontal bar in Firefox v9?

Many thanks for your suggestion. I have tried as you suggest and clicking the 'key' icon does re-open the password reminder notice but clicking the key icon again doesn't close it. Instead to close the password reminder you have to click and drag the cursor off the key icon. I was hoping for a way of reverting to the horizontal bar.

Send a reminder mail to a person in 'Assigned To' 7 days before the 'Due Date'

I want to create a workflow on SharePoint list and it should send a notification email to 'Assigned To' person before 7 days of Due Date (another column in the list).
I'm new to SharePoint. Please explain the steps in detail.

How to send automatic "reminder mails" after certain time

Hi Experts,
There is a problem which I am not able to solve, Please help !
Requirement: 1. After the creation of a certain task, a mail should go to the user... this I have done using the Java Mail API.
*2. After 2 days if the user don perform certain task, a reminder mail should be send to him EVERYDAY after the INITIAL 2 days.*
how to achieve this in the Java mail.. I have heard of Java mail Schedulers but I am not able to find it.. If you can give me some guide or some steps or some article for this I would be very very gratefu to you.
Please treat it as urgent and give your valuable suggestions.

Nope. It means that if you want to schedule something, use code which does scheduling. Like Quartz for example. Bear in mind that the "something" in this case would involve sending an e-mail, but your scheduler wouldn't care about that.

Send reminder mails to the outlook

Hi everyone,
I have a scenario where i have a modeled deadline branch where if the deadline is missed i am sending recursive mails to the recipients using Rule in an activity .
In the Rule i am using FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 for sending mails . I need to send mails 3 times for every 5 mins . for that i have created a requested start deadline with time as 5 min .
and a workflow element status with initial value as 0 . and in the same branch i have used a container operation step where i am incrementing my status value by 1.
and loop until condition is set to &status& = 3.
i am receiving the reminder mail only once in my outlook and the status is set to 1.
it is not getting incremented again . and hence no second reminder mails are coming in my outlook.
Can any one please help .?

I assume you have desigened the workflow template as below.
1. A dialog step where the workitem will be sent for apprval.
2. For the above dialog step you have defined both Requested start and Latest end of Modelled Deadline .
3. In the newly generated branch you have inserted a loop and inside a loop you have defined a step to send mails. End condition for the loop is COUNT = 3.
IF the case is like above then you modify the workflow design as below.
1. Instead of inserting a loop in the deadline brach , you define it outside the deadline branch.
2. Both Dialog workitem and deadline brach and its step must be included inside one loop.
3. Now for the whole loop you deifine a condition in a such a way that the workitem should not miss the deadline and it should be in the completed status then only you will end the whole loop other wise you keep on looping it .
I hope if you remodify the workflow as above i hope it works...

Reminder mail for workflow approval

Hi All,
We have a scheduled task which sends Reminder mails for workflow approval which has been pending for more than 5 days.
Recently I created new workflow definitions and reminder task stopped sending mails.
I checked task and it has IapiTaskIfc Class com.frictionless.custom.wkfreminder.sendWorkflowReminder.
How to check this class and do i need to make changes somewhere else to send reminder mails?

To check the class, you need to get the jar from server and decompile it. You can get some idea by looking at the java class file then.

Reminder Mail for PO/PR approval

Hi Experts,
For PO/PR approval, one mail is sent to respective person.
If the approval/reject activity is not done then one reminder mail should go after 24 hrs and after 48 hrs the PO/PR is required to approve automatically but the hours should consider weekdays also i.e. if PO/PR is created on Friday then the reminder mail should go on Monday because Saturday and Sunday is holiday.
This process should be done using workflow.
Please tell me the process/activity to configure this process.

But how to consider the weekdays for reminder mail.
I think :- Write a program to store the WI's in a Ztable for which Deadline Monitoring has to be done and shcedule in background.
Based on the date of the WI and time between the mail execution send the notification mail such a way.
Alternative:
create 2date and 2 time WF container elements one for latest start and other for latest end (one for each)
Before the workitem execution check create a background acivity step execute a method and in that step check for the creation date of WI whether Friday or Saturday or Sunday.
If its being executed on friday then export the mondays date and time to the wf container element for latest start and Tuesdays
date and time for latest end container elements that you had created.
In deadline monitoring tab of latest start and latest end select the Refer.date/time as Expression type and pass the new dates that you store in WF container element.

ISE password reminder email

We are evaluating ISE and I have set up an admin account to use to login. Password policy is set to 60 days, however I have been getting Password reminder notices every day since the first week it was set up. I've looked all over and I don't see where the reminder period is set. This is what I've been getting:
Password Expiration Reminder
The password for your local admin "adminxxxx" is expiring on Fri Dec 20 11:25:56 EST 2013. Please update immediately, by going to https://server.domain.local/admin, signing-in, and clicking on the user name at the upper right corner.
Where can I configure this not to send unless the password is expiring in 10 days?

The Password Lifetime settings for sending an email reminder to administrators in Administration> System> Admin Access menu> Authentication > Password Policy
is functioning the opposite of the way the web GUI for the field explains it does.
There is a defect filed for this issue and will be addressed in ISE 1.2.1 release.
The workaround for this issue is as follows:
Enter the number of days from password creation or change the option you would like to start receiving alerts in the web GUI.
Use the password-expiration-warning line from the running configuration in the CLI to verify the correct number of days before expiration for email alerts to start being generated.

Step 1
When prompted for the password, check the box marked Remember this password in my keychain.
Step 2
Check that the keychain is working.
Step 3
Check that the default keychain is unlocked.

Reminder mail- Stop

Dear Team,
Client is using the customized program for reminder purpose. For example during the hiring action maintained infotype 0019 (monitoring of task) i.e. Task type –end of probation (suppose-01.09.2014), reminder date-(suppose 01.08.2014).
After the reminder date system trigger the mail for confirmation.
Now employee has left dated 29th July 2014, client has process the termination action on 29th July 2014 through tcode -pc00_m40_term then tcode -sm35 and completed the process.
Now client is still getting the reminder mail for confirmation.
Please suggest how to stop the reminder mail.

After resigned the employees and full & final processed done, still the resigned employees employment confirmation mail for {infotype 0019 (monitoring of task) i.e. Task type –end of probation (suppose-01.09.2014), reminder date-(suppose 01.08.2014)} coming regularly.
As per my understanding, In separation action we are not delimiting the infotype 0019.
We would like to add infotype 0019 in separation action and operation is delimited

BBP_PD is the only transaction where you can see all the related info for tables storing the data for each type of document.
e.g. for Shopping cart(SC),in the selection screen ,you can give the SC no in the field "OBJECT ID" and see all the details(header as well as Item) as well as the table names whcih store this data.As you said there are some common tables also whcih store the data for all the docuemnts like CRMD_ORDERADM_H(for header data).You can however filter teh data in these table for different docuemnts based on the field OBJECT TYPE.e.g. for SC Object type is BUS2121,for Bid invitataion BUS2200..etc..
Similarly you can get all the info related to all the docuemnts whcih are created in SRM i.e. Bid invitation,quotation,Po etc....
For Sopping Cart details,refer tables:

Password e-mail when not requested

I just received the password e-mail without having requested it. Probably just someone trying to get their own and putting in the wrong userid.
I can easily see some infrequent user saying "did I sign up as jhudson, jhudson1, joehudson, or what? I'll put them all in and see which one works".
But since it could possibly be a security breach, with someone trying sql injection to get passwords and ids e-mailed to themselves, etc., I wanted to report it.

But you typically need an authenticated server to send when you are not connected to that particular network.
It is already setup in the phone (presumably during activation). It can be turned on or off, but the settings can't be changed.
Host Name: gprs.fido.ca
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 25
So if Rogers tech support didn't know this, its probably because they don't support it.
It is not unusual for them to not know the details of a particular phone.
I note some Rogers locations just use yahoo for mail. I think Yahoo does support authenticated SMTP.
Rogers uses Yahoo to handle their mail. They do use password authentication.

Remove Password from Mail

Whenever I click on the mail icon to get email, it asks me for a password. Then, sporadically and unpredictably, while I am using mail it will ask me again for the password (and again, and again). I don't want Mail to be passworded, although I password my computer to wake it. Can someone help me turn off the password to Mail? Thanks

I had been using Telus for several years when I started to get the exact same issue with Mail prompting me for my IMAP password three or four times a day. It turned out that it was a problem at Telus's end. A call to their tech support line confirmed that they were having an issue and that it would be resolved in a few days. It was.
I've only made two changes lately;
1) I reset my SMTP for a while as I was on the road but then set it back to the original config.
2) I downloaded 10.6.4 update.
That and my own experience with my ISP leads me to believe your problem is with your ISP and not your Mac.

Password protecting mail

Hi, just wondering if there is a way to password protect mail? Our iPad is shared in our home with my children who keep deleting messages and sending stuff so was wondering how to protect mail so they can't get in. Thanks!

The Mail app can't currently be protected via Settings > General > Restictions, but there is this work-around. Alternatively you could see if there are any third-party email apps have a password option, or you could access your account via Safari (you could create a homescreen shortcut for your account's login page)
