Password reset not recognised as a command prompt
I am trying reset my password via the terminal command prompt. For some reason it keeps saying
Ellys-MacBook-Air:~ ---------$ resetpassword
-bash: resetpassword: command not found
Any suggestions ?

The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.2 - earlier systems don't show the iCloud preference pane. If you want to use iCloud you will have to upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion (assuming your computer meets their requirements) but even so you won't be able to publish web pages to iCloud because it does not provide web hosting. My password is not recognised but I did not change it
Hello,
got new hard drive. When switch on first time it did request my password, was entered successfully.
After switched off and later on again, it did not ask for password at all. Then as I want to make some changes it asks for my password but when i type it it shakes but my password is correct.
Any idea what happened then and since I cannot even change my password (it does not recognise the "old"one)...what's next?
Am just afraid when I will switch off and if it ask again for password and since it does not recognise it that I wont be able to login in at some point.

C.First, make sure caps lock is not on.
Another reason why your password might not be recognized is that the keyboard layout (input source) has been switched without your realizing it. At the login screen, you can cycle through the available layouts by pressing the key combination command-space or command-option-space. See this support article.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.
*Note: If you've activated FileVault, this procedure doesn't apply. Follow instead these instructions. -
Ports not appearing in the command prompt
Hi all,
I have enabled the following ports in my windows 8 system using firewall. I opened the firewall.cpl and created rules both for inbound ports & outbound ports. The Opened ports are as below:-
443, 25, 587, 143, 993, 995, 80, 3478,5061,5223.
All the above ports are added in the firewall. But when I run the "netstat -an" command from the command prompt. The opened ports are not there.
Can you please guide me why this is happening. I am clueless.

Not running from the Command Prompt.
I have developed a SMTP based mail dispatch software using netbeans and Javamail. It is working fine while running within netbeans. But while runing it from the command prompt after making a build of it from netbeans, it gives error File not found exception for javamail as below.

PI7.1 HU6 password reset not working

I received password reset emails few days back. I was able to reset and change password for all system except PI 7.1 HU6 system. I have tried multiple times receiving new reset password but for some reason, I am not able to login or reset my PI 7.1 HU6 password. The client is 800

Mac id password is not recognised at mac store
I am unable to download update updates in the Mac Store. I am asked for my ID and password. I enter them as I have to enter this discussion but the login box keeps reapperaing saying the password id not correct. Advice please.
Visit these three places by clicking on Finder, then go at the top. Hold down the option key and you will see Library. Click on Library and locate to appropriate folders listed under here. This will reset the appstore.
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db. Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
~/Library/Preferences. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist files to the Trash.
~/Library/Cookies. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist and Cookies.plist files to the Trash.
After you have done this, restart your mac and try to access the store again. I hope this helps! -
When I type my email addreess and password adobe says not recognised retry. Retried to no avail and then entered my details again for a fresh password which adobe acknowledge and state that they have sent an email to me but nothing arrives .Have tried this several times now but nothing received.
I have resend the Email Password link again, please check & let us know if received it. Do check the junk & spam too.
