I keep asking for new password reset and there is no email reply. Then I exceed the reset amount for the 24 hour period. I keep checking the spam folder and still nothing. It's like groundhog day.

I have been experiencing the same problem for about 5 days and it's driving me mad! I receive a reset code, which takes me to Microsoft account p/w reset, but I simply want to access a SKYPE account!

You should get an e-mail from them when you click to reset your password to your email that you selected as the email when you signed up your account. If you don't see that email, I would suggest checking your spam box to make sure you didn't get it. Also if you don't see it in there, you can request that it is sent again.

Don't know any other way to put it. I typed in the correct password. Now the account is locked. Iforgot does not send an email verification. The email is not in the junk mail or anywhere else. It is typed correctly. This is frustrating. I was just trying to update the Ipad Mini. I wanted to change the ownership to my husband and noticed that my daughter attached a new Icloud account. I was just trying to verify her account. I have the correct password. Now the account is locked out.

I figured it out. It's a little confusing. I was trying to add a new email address for iCloud and I was supposed to type in the main iCloud user ID and password. The wording is not helpful because it displays the name of the new email address.

Validation link not in email

I've started using my iPad mini yesterday. Now, in my mailbox, I have about 15 emails asking me to validate my email adress. I'm fine with validating- but there is no link provided in the email. I have tried looking at the source code, but theres no link there, either. Since the emailadress is hosted on my own server, I've tried forwarding it to an second email adress on Gmail, but nothing there. I've also tried opening it in different browsers (Firefox, Safari, IE and Chrome), none work.
Is there any other way for me to start validating?

Okay so when I had a ipod touch 4 with ios 6 my apple id got hacked and they spent all my itunes credit bla blah blah. so i made a new apple id which was fine and was working. i recently upgraded to an ipod 5 so did my sister and i got ios 7and she just kept ios 6 then my ipod camera crapped out so i decided to back up my ipod first and switch with my litttle sister by erasing and restoring both of them. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you know the answers to your security question for the ID you can use that method to reset the password rather than email (by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid).
If you don't, you'll have to contact iTunes Store support for assistance: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. They frequently deal with Apple ID issues.

That's probably because it's been sent out to a Bcc'd mailing list and that's the name on the main version. This is so that you don't see the other names.
If it doesn't come from something @apple.com then it's spam. Even if it appears to it's probably spam. If you want to change your password go directly to http://appleid.apple.com - do not follow any links in the email (even if they appear to lead to that address.)

The send reset link will only show on your account if you already have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you haven't checked whether you have the link then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side of the screen (similar to the screenshot in the second post on this thread) you might see an option below the questions to send reset info to a rescue email address.
If you don't get the link (you won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Can't access password reset for old apple ID that is not an email

I have songs on my new computer that can only be authorized by my old apple ID. That apple ID is not an email, just an ID name. When I try to reset it by sending an email reset I have no idea where it is going. I have looked in all my old emails/junk mails/spam mails and nothing. To reset my password using the security questions I can't even get passed the birthdate. I created this ID when I was 10. How can I reset my password when I don't get an email verification because it wasn't even an email. I think it was created under the @mac.com domain, but when it shows up in the computer authorization window when I try to play music it's just the apple ID without a domain.

If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.
