Password Reset Service - not email

I'm configuring password reset service for Messaging Server.
It works but... new password is send by email!
How can I configure to display new password on web page or set it to certain value (i.e. login) ?
AM 7.0 on WebServer.

I read your emails couple of time, but I am not clear, on what you are trying to do.
Are you trying to create a new user, who should reset its password after he/she logs on the first time ? If this is the case then you can achieve it by specifying the password policy in Directory server.
But then again, I might have missed your question.

Password reset or Verification email not received

I am having the same issue with not receiving Password Reset or Verification emails that other posters are experiencing. The email on my forum account is the same one that is associated with the My Best Buy account. I have checked my spam folders to no avail. Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Password reset did not work

The password reset did not seem to work as I keep receiving that the password or login info is incorrect...

Did you receive the pasword reset email and reset it through there? If you have you need to remember that there must be a capital letter and a number atleast once in the new password
If you're still having problems go through expresslane.apple.com who assist directly with AppleID issues.

Can I spedify the SMTP to use for Password Reset Service?

I'd like to be able to specify what mail server to use when access manager is sending out mail. The password reset service is currently looking to localhost, port 25 for the mail server when trying to send out mail. Is it possible to change this?

I believe the parameters com.iplanet.am.smtphost and com.iplanet.am.smtpport in the AMConfig.properties control this.

Help with Bios Password Reset Service

I am trying to use the Bios Password Reset Service for Power On password and Hard Drive Password. The current setting in the Bios is "Enabled, In Progress". The Bios sidebar help tells me that in order to complete registration for this function to open the Create Recovery Media application and "follow instructions". I am lost, there is nothing there about the Password Reset Service. I have already created the Recovery disks and even a Rescue Media disk.
I have found that in the Client Security Solution application, under the advanced tab there is a "Setup Hardware Password Reset" function but it is greyed out!
Since this function is available for selection in Bios shouldn't I be able to use it?
I am using the Windows logon password recovery function in Client Security with no problems.
Any ideas??

PS. I don't want to circumvent any passwords, I just want to activate the Hardware Password Recovery function in case I ever need it.

UPDATE:
In case anyone cares, I was finally able to figure out how to activate the Hardware Password Reset feature in my T61. Here is the solution, at least in my case:
1)Found the file in Program Files->Lenovo->Client Security Solution->HwPwReset.exe
2)Ran the file and followed the instructions
3)A "Secure Environment" was created in the hardrive and the laptop restarted
4)The laptop booted into the Secure Environment where I was asked to establish 3 security questions and answers.
5)The laptop restarted and the status of the Pasword Reset function in BIOS changed to Registered.
Now if I ever forget the Power-on or Hardrive passwords all I have to do is press F12 on boot-up, select Password Reset option, answer my security questions and voila, passwords are reset or removed. Very nice!
BTW, I called Lenovo technical support twice and after talking to 3 "techs" and one supervisor they had no clue on how to do this. Go figure!

I've been having this issue as well. I've emailed and called customer service and I still can't login to my account. I get no verificaion code emails or password reset emails. They aren't in the spam folder either.

After reviewing your online account using the email address attached to your forum profile, I’m not seeing any of the usual indicators that typically appear if there’s a verification email issue. As you’ve already checked your spam folder though, and you still haven’t received the email, please know I’ve manually sent you a password reset link directly from our systems.

I am signed into the OLD Firefox sync with my correct password and username. I want to update to the new sync because I've got a new PC that i need to sync to and the old syn won't accept adding new units anymore. I can't access my account and the password reset is not working. What can I do?

When I try to sign in to HP ePrintCenter, I input my email address and username and get the following prompt:
"EmailInvalid email or password"
I figured perhaps I wasn't registered so I tried to register with my email address however the system promped me that my email address is already registered and that I must sign in. Obviously I've forgotten my password so when I click on "Forgot Password" and input my email address, the system keeps prompting me to:
"Input the email address associated with your account."
I just did, and I'm stuck in this endless loop. Please advise.

It seems your requirement can only be address by developing apps. If a user has a password change request, it can generate a link and send to alternative email account. I think it
cannot be done with native Exchange software.

Icloud password reset is not coming to my original email

Hello,
I have a unique problem. Kindly consider the following points:
My yahoo email that i used to originally set up my icloud got hacked but i have been able to restore account now.
In the mean time, i was able to assign my device to new icloud account under a different email address.
My phone kept alerting me to enter the password for the first yahoo address.
I learned that i had to dissociate my device with the new icloud account so i have done that.
Now, i can't log into my icloud account using my original password and when i ask to reset the account nothing comes to my restored yahoo email ( not even to the spam).
How can i reset my icloud account using my original yahoo? Or i guess the million $ question is: how can i let apple just reset my email original account!
