Password wrong after update? Anyone Else?

Ok..did the 7.02.16 update for windoze. Now I can't login in to the store. I get "wrong password" for my AOL account (it's not..works fine). I did it three times as suggested. Tried to create a 'new account' but when I put in my credit card it says "account does not match one on file". I tried Paypal...get the same. I tried Visa, MC, AMEX, paypal. They all come back "account does not match one on file". I can sign in under my Apple Account but that won't let me access my music that I had already purchased. I tried to change my Apple Account to my main iTunes Account but I get the same "account does not match one on file". I have sent 3 emails...no response. I have itunes authorized on 2 desktops (both PC) and 2 Laptops (PC and Mac) and NONE of them work now. I even tried an old itunes account from way back that was still active. I tried to update the billing info...guess what..."Account does not match one on file". What gives? I know my passwords are right...haven't changed. Anyone? (and yes...tried all the FAQ's and all fixes short of erasing everything but my iPod and starting over).....Cheers! Jay

Your actual AOL password and the password you use for iTunes have nothing to do with each other.

This means the credit card info you are putting in now does not match what you used previously to register this iTunes account.

Problems with Safari closing after update, anyone else?

Help!! Ever since the latest update while I'm on Safari, it will just close at any given time. It opens up as soon as I touch the icon but just shuts down whenever it wants.

You can also try the standard recommended fixes. This is one that I use every time Safari crashes. It buys me some time - until the next crash. It could be an hour - could be six hours - no real rhyme or reason to it with my iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Thee other basic steps that you can try ....
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit Safari and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

SUCCESS! I was trying to get in with Internet Explorer, and getting the error message.
I switched over to FireFox, and connected immediately!

2010 Mini superdrive has stopped working after Mountain Lion update - anyone else?

After updating to 10.8 the superdrive on my 2010 mini has completely stopped working. It will not accept any disks. Disk Utility sees the drive as a working drive. Anyone else having this issue? If yes and you've resolved it, how??

Same thing happened to me with Mountain Lion. It seems that at the moment there's no solution. I've tried to burn a DVD with Toast Titanium, iDVD and the SimplyBurn. All of them failed.
It's a shame that Apple did this because we pay for a computer with a drive that could burn DVD discs. I´m very, very disappointed with Apple!

My ipod 4 g types on it own? seems to have happened after the latest update anyone else encounter this?

Litterally can't type or hit any app correctly on my ipod touch, cleaned the screen, restored to factory, used a stylus, nothing works, dont even have to be touching the screen, anyone else experience this?

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

Exchange password gone after update

After updating to 4.3.2, the exchange password configured on the ipad was removed and set to empty.
We've noticed this on 4 devices already.
Our others have most likely not updated yet and I'm fearfull that when they do update, they will face this issue.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, I experienced this when I upgraded my iPad and iPhone both to 4.3.2. When they restarted and I started Mail, I was prompted for my Exchange password. We use a single sign on via Active Directory so when users were prompted it wasn't much of an issue as they use their network password to log into mail again. Once they did this it remember the password as normal.

HT4528 slow repsonse with I phone interface since new update anyone else having issues?

I was woundering if anyone else was having very slow response times on using the I phones after they updated the new OS7.2 ? I went from lighting speed response to almost no or little response on my i phone i cant even delete my old voice mails. i have to repetely tap and slide many times in a row for the phone to do basic function things pre update was no problem? And im not talking provider issues just basic function with the phone it self .

its not a lag issue its a problem with the software it self causing it to be slow in response for example when i want to use the phone i have to slide the bar to use it it takes many times of sliding the slider to operate it same if i want to see my phots or check my voice mail or text and make a call there was nothing wrong with these basic functions with 7.0, 7.1 but theres a problem now with the newest update plus im not the only one that i know of with this problem my wife has the newest i phone and same issue and settings didnt help problem is still there anyone else have any ideas ? or was this update just rushed out with many bugs ? will there be a fix ?

Wifi passwords disappeared after update 10.10.3

After installing the latest Yosemite patch 10.10.3, and after a subsequent restart, my wi-fi passwords all had to be re-entered on all my network settings. All worked well after I put them in again, but it was a nuisance. Did anyone else have this issue?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

User stuck on "Changing Password" screen after updating expired password, Windows 8.1 Pro

We have recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 Professional in our domain (Domain & Forest Functional Level at Windows Server 2003). I am facing an issue where, when a users' password is expired and the user changes his/her password (after being prompted)
on their Windows 8.1 workstation, the user isn't able to login. The login screen displays "Changing Password" along with the little dots going in circles.
I have tried googling for a solution without much luck. Has anyone else faced this situation and is there a fix? Any help would be much appreciated.

Old passwords appeared after update to firefox 32

After updating to firefox 32 all passwords added or changed in august disappeared or returned to their previous states. But if I downgrade to previous version all passwords are on the right place. How to fix this? Thanks.

hello, have you switched between firefox 31 and a higher version in august once - there has been a change in the database that holds your passwords and the migration will only take place once - the first time you update from firefox 31 to a higher version. if you switch back to 31 again afterwards (downgrading isn't a path that is commonly supported) your pw changes won't be reflected...

My iMessage is sporadic since ios 7 updates. anyone else?

iMessage will sometimes work & sometimes not-getting to be more not since I updated my iPhone 4. Is anyone else having this problem besides me & my daughter??? Suggestions please? Hve tried rebooting & this helps for maybe a few messages then back to not working.

IOS5 update - anyone else stuck at 'restoring iPhone apps'?

Got past the dreaded 3200 error when updating and everything restored to the phone. The sync finished but my iTunes has a pop-up box that says 'Restoring iPhone Apps' and a 'STOP' button. and just keeps churning and churning. Anyone else stuck in this mode? Not sure if I'm supposed to wait forever for this thing to go away?
I tried hitting the Stop button but nothing happens.
Some apps transferred to the phone, some didn't.
What to do now??? Any suggestions??

I'm sorry I'm no help but just to say I'm in the same boat. I went through the on-screen instructions on my iPhone and got the home screen but I can't open any of my apps.
Went back to iTunes to see this window still open..
It's been like it for half an hour, but oh! as I was typing my iTunes pinged. It's just finished and I can confirm that my apps are opening and working correctly.
I guess it depends on the speed of the computer your using, but it will finish eventually!

Pages won't open after recent update - anyone else got similar problem?

Problems with Outlook WebAccess after 3.0 update -anyone else?

I updated to the 3.0 iphone software and now I am having problems using Outlook Web Access. I can read emails, but anytime I try to reply or forward an email, I get prompted for my username/password, and even if I enter ir or not, nothing happens, it just brings me back to the email I was trying to reply or forward.
What is even weirder is that a draft is actually created when I go into drafts, but it is not formatted correctly to begin typing (it brings up the text of the old email as the top of the message), so this is not a viable workaround.
I have tried this on two different iPhones that have updated to 3.0, and get the same results.
I never had this problem before I updated the software and this is a critical issue as this is the only way I can access my work email on the iPhone.

I had problems with our company OWA on my new iPhone 3g - Safari would crash (close) each time I tried to create a new message.
Found this thread and others, so went to Settings / Safari and cleared cache, cookies, & history. Also temporarily turned off pop-up blocking AND turned on the developer debugging to see if I could get an error.
Went back into Safari & OWA, and can now send emails. Turned the pop-up blocking back on, and can still send & receive emails fine with OWA. Turned developer debugging off, and can still send & receive emails w/OWA.

I am having trouble receiving text messages after iOS7 update; anyone else know how to resolve this?

Before installing 7 I had no problem receiving text messages; now I am not receiving some people's messages unless I have my data turned on or wifi. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am having similar issues with my iphone 4S that didn't exist before I did the iOS7 update. The senders of the imessages believe their message was sent successfully however I may not receive it for minutes-days.
In my case (and probably yours), its' definitely an iOS7 problem rather than a carrier problem as it was never an issue before the update.
Two temporay ways to resolve the issue that I've found (though not cures) are:
1) double tap the home button and close messages from running in backgorund. restart messages and the screen freezes for a 10-30 seconds and a rush of messages may arrive shortly.
or
2) intermittently do a soft reset on your phone (holding home button and lock button down for 10 seconds until apple logo appear). When the phone restarts I get a rush of imessages that I should have received.
Hopefully Apple will recognise and resolve this issue. I'm feeling the same frustration as you are.
