It's my new BlackBerry, and I'm really bad in all the things related to technology.
I would lik eto know what to do about the authorisations. The mobile asked me about a PIN, which I already know, an email, and a password. I should need this to get other applications, but I really don't know where to get that.
I'm sorry for starting something that may have been already asked, but I'm really bad at this.

Your phone has a unique PIN as well as an email address associated to it, which requires a password to access.
Could you clarify what you're not able to find, please.

I continue to have my e-mail come up with a keychain password issues. I have called apple support and started my keychain over and still no resolve. All I see in forums others having the same issue but no resolve. Any one else have an idea? I might have tried it already. Ready to ditch mac mail and just use yahoo site.

Hotmail password is not regularly retained in password collection. I need to keep inputing password to access Hotmail. Other mail server holds password without problem???

change your password to something shorter, it'll still prompt for it but ti'll take much longer, i have no clue as to why though
alternatively, you can just quit and relaunch mail without pressing cancel on the prompt for entering your pass

ICloud Password and Mail

I'm trying to set up my me.com address in Mail but am experiencing difficulties. I am following the instructions in the support article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4002 but my password is rejected every time. I am using the same password I use to access iCloud via the website, which fits with the iCloud support article here http://help.apple.com/icloud/index.html?lang=en#mm6b1a5237
I am currently stuck for ideas. Could anybody please advise me what to do?

That is good. In that case, your one and only account has not changed, just the login credentials you use for it. All your previous purchases will remain associated with that account, and the new login.
In essence, an AppleID is an email, but it has two parts. One is the login email address and password everyone traditionally thinks of as an AppleID. But that in turn is linked to an account with Apple. As long as you use the manage Apple ID portal to just change the email address and/or password for your exisiting AppleID, then the internal account tracks along with those changes as well.
However, on your iOS devices, you will need to log out and then log back in with the new login credentials:
settings -> iTunes & App Stores - tap your AppleID, and choose log out. Then log back in with the new email address and new password.

How to change my password and my incoming and outgoing mail servers

Hi I have used Outlook Express for years and I know how to configure "everything" I need within the settings pages because their settings pages are all "logical" with everything out in the open.
However, Thunderbird "hides" their settings behind buttons and confusing screens.
There are many tutorials that explain how to set up Thunderbird from the beginning, and show how to set up a new email account. But I have not been able to find a tutorial on how to change my email account password "after" I have been using Thunderbird for awhile.
I also see no way to change the incoming and outgoing servers. For example, I have changed from one hosting company to another hosting company and I need to use the new mail servers from the new hosting company and I do not see any tutorials anyplace that cover ongoing or day-to-day activities with Thunderbird.
Can you please change your settings screens to make Thunderbird easier for new people to find these normal and necessary items?
Also can you please point me to a tutorial that shows me how to change my email account password and change my incoming and outgoing servers?

If you wan to create an account, you must the delete the existing account.
So take backup of your emails if your using POP3

Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

When you were entering your new password in mac mail for your Yahoo account, you didn't perchance change the user name from [email protected] to just name without the @att.net? I only ask because I've done that, and att.yahoo mail requires a fully qualified [email protected] for access.
In mail, you might click on window on the menu bar, then connection doctor. On the account with the red dot next to it, it will tell you why it can't connect, and if you click on it, you'll be taken to where you can fix it.

Safari and Mail no longer remember my passwords

Safari and Mail no longer remember my passwords. Worked yesterday. Recently updated to 10.5.1 and added Text Expander and PTHPasteboard. Turned them both off. Rebooted. Running 10.5.1 on Intel Pro Mac. Ran First Aid on Keychain Access and says its ok. The login Keychain is unlocked.

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page.<br />
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you need to sign in once again.

my friend's Skype client signs-in automaticaly but now I need to reinstall her computer. Unfortunately she doesn't remember her password and her e-mail address, which was assigned to her Skype account, doesn't exist anymore.
What possibilities does she have to reset her password now?
