Passwords removed from Pages and Numbers when opened in iOS

I'm I missing something or is it expected that passwords will be removed from Pages and Numbers files once they are opened in iOS?

Strange. The photos that don't display in Aperture will still display in iPhoto but when I view the info the file doesn't show resolution information only for those problematic photos
Files sizes are almost all jpeg. Once I reference the file in iPhoto, the master displayed resolution for the photo within finder. The photo's original file also opened in preview and photoshop.

Just to clarify...
Did you know that by purchasing it in iTunes, you are purchasing the iOS version of Pages and Numbers? If you wanted the Mac version, it should be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
If you DID want to download a copy for an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, then try purchasing these apps on one of those devices rather than iTunes and see if it works.

I had to update to IOS 6. In the process it crashed and I had to restore my iPad to factory settings. I've lost Pages and Numbers. They are not listed in the App Store as previously downloaded. How can I get them back without paying for them again?

Why can't I open files from pages and numbers on my mac, I can open them on my macbook air

When I try and open a file from either numbers, pages and keynotes on my mac I get a message telling me "The file “Essential Skills Module 10 Presentations.key” couldn’t be opened." I am still able to open them on my MacBook Air and iPad. Can anyone help me with this?

Got it. I tried booting with MOD_AUTOLOAD set to yes, and it was working fine. Looks like I needed to specify some more modules in my list.

According to your post, my understanding is that you had issue opening the top left cog.
I suggest you to check whether you restrict the site in your browser. Please follow the steps:
Open the site in the browner, click tool->Compatibility View Setting->Add the site to be displayed in Compatibility View.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security->Trusted Sites.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security->Restricted sites->Allowed level for this zone: Medium.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security-> Custom Level -> Cookies->OK.
Click Tool->Internet Options-> Settings -> Privacy -> Block content on sites from services that could track my browsing ->Off.

ESS: Remove from Page

Hello)
I'm a new in ESS, so I'm sorry for my fool question....
ESS Page in the upper right corner has menu
Open in new Window
Refresh
Personalize
Remove from Page
When user choose Remove from Page and then click "Yes" iView disappears.
And how do I get back it ?
Can I remove this item from menu ?

Use ctrl right click ie personalisation and make it visible again
click at the same place to get this personalisation

The button 'Remove from Page' personalizes the page for that user by
removing the iview. They can re-add the iView by personalizing the page.

Pages and Numbers keyboard lag?

Have a MacPro purchased one year ago. Running 10.7.5. From the beginning there has always been a keyboard entry lag at times in Pages and Numbers when entering type, and with keyboard shortcuts (copy, paste, save). Trying to figure out why?

Launch Activity Monitor and see what's taking up the CPU cycles when you have this problem. It may be Numbers itself, if your documents are large enough.

How to set Pages and Numbers to become default applications for attachment?

I installed Leopard and have just installed iWork.
I started noticing that the applications of .doc and .xls that come in file attachments in my mail do not use Pages and Numbers as their default application.
.doc uses TextEdit
I copied the file to the desktop, changed the default app to Pages, but it still doesn't work. All new mails with .doc still uses TextEdit as default app.
How to change this?

The old version of iWork should still be on your computer.
Check in Applications (Command-Shift-A) for an iWork '09 folder.

Importing from pages or numbers

Is it possible to import files to keynote from pages or numbers. I am working on a safety presentation that uses spreadsheets, photos and graphics (lines, arrows, comments in text boxes etc) I would like to be able to present this as a keynote or powerpoint type presentation. I thought this was possible but nothing is working.

I have documents and spreadsheets with photos dragged from iphoto that I have been wanting to use as a keynote type demo. I was trying to drag or copy from pages and numbers as well as word and excel for mac. Saving as pdf files allows me to drag over to a keynote slide and works. It just does not allow me to alter the document during the demo (adjust numbers in the spreadsheet or move arrows on the arial photos of the pages doc etc. )

I decided to buy Pages and Numbers through the App Store icon. When I open the Pages and Numbers under my Applications, I can get them to work. However, when I open old documents saved on my computer, they go into the 'old' iWork messages of that my trial has expired. How do I get the computer to automatically recognize that I've purchased Pages and Numbers?

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.
