Past calender events not syncing

I have recently switched to exchange account syncing with outlook express 2007.  I have about 3 years of info in my calender yet no past events prior to the current month show up.  Any idea on how to get all my calender info to show up on my palm.

If you want to sync to outlook express you need to upgrade to outlook 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2007 in order to sync with your handheld. Once you upgrade to outlook 2000, 2002 or 2003 (they are becoming less expensive) then you can sync with your device. Though you still need to install palm desktop to set the path to sync with outlook. Here is a helpful link: http://www.palm.com/us/support/outlooksupport.html

  • Yahoo calender will not sync on iOS device

    Hello,
My Yahoo calender will not sync with the standard calender app on my iPhone. New appointments, entered in the Yahoo calender  appear not on the iPhone.
Switchting on/off the calender in Yahoo forces an update to the iPhone, nothing else helps. Anyone familiar with this problem?
    Thanks.

had same issues. I put event via iphone and did not sync with yahoo but did with ical on the mac. main problem was writing events on the iphone not syncing.  I have tried many ways to solve but I may have seemed to solve it (for me anyway) but you could give it a try.
    Go to Settings- Mail,contacts,calenders.
    Scroll down to calenders.
    Choose DEFAULT CALENDER.
If it is ticked on icloud change it to Yahoo! which is probably at the top.
I then tried to write an event via the iphone and hey presto, it was added to my yahoo and ical calenders. Remember it may take a while unless you have set everything to push. i will give this a few tests (as i onlytried it a few moments ago myself) but seems to work.

  • Can't get past calendar events to sync with Outlook

I can't seem to get past caldendar events on my iphone to sync back to outlook.  The basic issue is that when I purcahsed the iphone 4 a few months ago, it only synced back 6 months and deleted all previous calendar events.  However, I want to get all the past calendar info from my previous iphone onto the new one.  I have tried taking the old iphone and syncing through itunes and it only adds the newer outlook calendar events to the iphone, but doesn't transfer the phone calendar events back to the computer (outlook).  Any suggestions?

Have you been through all these?

  • Past iCal events not appearing on my new iPhone 5s.

Past iCal events appear on my Macbook Pro Cal, iCloud Cal online and my iOS 6 iPad but not on my new iOS 7 iPhone 5s. Ive checked all my Calendars in the Calendar app but still no joy.
I saw a past post about changing the name of the event and that will re sync it. I've tried it and it does work, but i've got hunders of past events from the last 3 years that i need to view.
    Any ideas??

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Contacts
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
    Calendars
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • Help - iCal All Day Events Not Syncing on Exchange 2007

When I enter an all day event in iCal it does not sync to my Touch Pro 2 through Exchange 2007. I see the event in OWA and also in Entourage through Sync Services but it simply does not come onto the TP2. All day events entered in Entourage or OWA DO show up in the TP2. Strange but very frustrating because I like to enter my events using Launchbar which works with iCal only.
    I don't think I had this problem with 10.5
    Greatly Appreciate Help.

I've noticed a similar problem. Previously, "all day" events listed correctly in both iCal (on my Mac) and in the calendar on my iPhone. Now, all day events on the iPhone cover the entire day, set to a time of 12 am to 12 pm.
I'm not sure if this is related to 10.6.4 or my recent update to iOS4 on the phone.

  • Ipad calender events not synicing with icloud

My MBP is syncing with icloud okay - they match. But some events (not all) in one of my calenders are not syncing between icloud and my ipad. Strange because icloud/my ipod touch are syncing fine. Gone through the postings, tried deleting accounts, turning calenders on/off, etc. Nothing happening.
Thinking it's an IOS problem with the ipad software unless anyone has any other ideas? fixes?

  • Why is my iOS 7.0.4 (iPhone 4S) events not syncing to ical on Mac OS 10.6.8?

Recently, I discovered one of my Calendars (Work) was not syncing from my iPhone 4S to my iCal. I believe any event that is being entered into the iPhone does not get transcribed to iCal, which is limiting my ability to manage a few things . . . basically, it has bricked the ability to reliably use the calendar on my computer.
It appears this has been a reacurring issue, because I have found many postings as well as solutions. I have tried a number of things including emptying out he calendar folder in User > Library with no avail . . .
Is there a solution that I'm missing and more current to my iOS & OS?

  • IPhoto events not syncing correctly with iPhone

    Hello,
Basically, my iPhoto events are not syncing correctly with my iPhone. Some events will sync, whereas others won't, though no error messages are ever displayed.
I have all my photos, 961 photos in 34 events, organised in iPhoto, however iTunes doesn't seem to recognise all of these events, only reporting 881 photos. I've got iTunes set up to "Sync photos from iPhoto - All events" and this works for most events, but not all.
On my iPhone, I can tell which events are missing, but no matter how many times I restart my Mac or sync my iPhone, it refuses to sync the few missing albums. There is over 4Gb of available space left on the iPhone, so this shouldn't be an issue.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Peter.

Any ideas, please? I hope I explained my issue clearly enough.
    Thank you,
    Peter.

  • 'All day' events not syncing correctly

I am using a 9700 Bold and syncing to Outlook 2007 using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.
'All day' calendar events are synced in both directions when I create them. However, when I delete an all-day event from my BlackBerry and then sync, it is not removed from Outlook.
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

What OS version on the device?  Look in Options >About on the 3rd line down and post the full version number.

  • Single MobileMe Event not syncing to iCal on my Mac

I'm pretty sure this is not the first time I've had this problem but it has arisen again.
I have a single event, which I created on either my iPad or my iPhone last Friday. This event has synced to the other device (iPhone or iPad) and to MobileMe (http://www.me.com/calendar). However, it is not showing up in iCal on my MacBook Pro.
On my MBP, I deleted the MobileMe (CalDAV) calendar from iCal and then recreated the account.  The missing calendar event is still missing though all the other evens appear to be there!
If I edit the event on my iPad, it still does not show up on my MBP though the other devices get the update (e.g. adding a Location).
If I create a new calendar event on my iPad, the new event does show up but the missing event remains missing.
    I'm running OS X 10.7.1 (Lion).
    Any suggestions on
    why this is happening,
how to fix it (other than just deleting and recreating), and
more importantly, how to prevent it from happening in the future?
    Thanks!

    Here's a fix:
    1. Open iCal and Export all your calendars to .ICS files (example, home.ics, birthdays.ics, etc.), save it on your desktop. Quit iCal.
    2. Delete the folder User/Library/Calendars and all contents inside
    3. Open iCal, import all your exported .ICS from above.
    4. Sync your iPhone.
Fixed it on 2 iPhones that have iCal sync issues with Leopard 10.5.1!

  • Events not syncing properly

Why are events appearing in iPad iPhoto that I am not syncing in iTunes.  They are all "date" events.

Thanks for the reply. The mysterious events were showing up in my iPhoto events on the iPad. However, I think I was able to finally delete them (although I'm still not sure why they were showing up). I will look for the new iTunes update. One of the BIG questions I have is what happens when you "share" multiple edited photos from iPhoto on the iPad via the iTunes pull down menu in iPhoto. In my case the answer seems to be "nothing". Hopefully the update will address this. Thanks.

  • My Calender will not Sync.....

I am using Office 2007 Outlook and Windows XP... Everything so far will Sync but my Calender. any New items I enter in will not Sync with the other. Am I the only one with this Problem or is their other people out their? And no it will not Sync either way Getting Frustrated. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes. I even restored my phone

I have a thought on this: it's a total disgrace. I had an old Nokia years ago - no colour screen, no internet, no camera, no iTunes, but do you know what it could do? It could sync with my outlook contacts and calendar. First time, every time. Pretty high-tech stuff eh? So now, having seen the very smug Mister Jobs trumpeting this 'amazing' piece of technology I fell for it and bought one. And what? Ten years on, his amazing technology can't perform a very basic function which EVERY other phone on the market has been able to do for years. I am not going to line Apple's pockets further by subscribing to Mobile Me (which is why they are making absolutely no efforts to fix this problem). I'm going to get my money back and let everyone I meet know what a grubby, money-grabbing (halved the price eh? so it was overpriced before - and half of worthless equals free!), low-tech shambles Apple truly is. I have worked in software for 25 years and if I had let something this shabby out of the door to my customers I'd expect instant dismissal for incompetence. Reading this Mr Jobs? No, of course not. Apple don't even concede that this problem exists at the magnitude it does. I'm off back to Sony Ericsson - a quality company with quality control. Just how much rubbish do you think you can shift in the king's new clothes? I'm disgusted.
