Past Record Or Log of Organisational Plan

Hi Bosses,
Does SAP creates any History Or Log of Changes made in Organisational Plan / Structure. How to view those records/logs.
Can entire such structures be viewed with details of changes made such as Change in Object, Date, Relationship etc.
tks
yogesh

In <b>E071</b> table, give object name (OBJ_NAME) as your transaction code name and clicl on execute.
This will display all transports which are created for this transaction code. Using these transport information, you can check in SE10, what exactly is changed.
Make sure that table used is E071 and not E070.
Hope this helps.

  • Chnage log for Invoicing Plan

    HI Friends ,
Need your help on the below issue
We are making a customised PO change report
We want to capture the details which was done in Invoicing Plan in PO line item
I tried chaging the Invoicing plan in PO line item but the change log does not show that the chnages are done in Invoicing plan
How to know from PO change report that a invoicing plan has been changed ? Which tables to be seen
I checked the FPLA and FPLT table but not getting any clue on change log for invoicing plan
    Please help
    Thx
    Deva

    Hi,
unfortunately there is no change log kept in the standard for the tables FPLA and FPLT. Please check in transaction SE11:
Display technical settings -> "Log data changes".
The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE, DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program is recorded in a log table in the database.
Unfortunately I can only confirm that there is missing functionality
for change management in area of MM invoicing plan. No change documents
are created in CDHDR and CDPOS tables for any change for invoicing
    plan.

  • Error logging for Integrated Planning

Can I turn on error logging for Integrated Planning.  Users get errors and forget to screenshot it to me, so I have no way of finding out what their error was unless I get them to duplicate it.  It would be nice to look up a log of errors by user.  Do they have something like that in Integrated Planning?
    Thanks!

    Hi Dustin,
    Few comments :
    1. UPDATE TASK means that a new background task is create and the function is performed asyncronisly ,with that the user will not wait for the update of the DB to finish ,you can read in SAP help about CALL FUNCTION IN UPDATE
    2. Be aware that the table that you create will be extremely large in no time ,you will have to delete data on a regular basis
    3. The same concept of the thread can be applied to function module 'RRMS_MESSAGE_HANDLING' this function module is responsible of messaging in BEX 'some times IP related messages are invoked from it.

    Eitan.

    Hello,
I recommend you contact AT&T's dedicated BB Support staff (call their front line, request escalation to BB Support) and have them check to be sure that your account with them is correctly configured for this device. Sometimes when switching devices things don't fully automatically move behind the scenes, and only they (ATT) can validate that.

  • How to- Log Changes in Plan Data Using Datastore Object

    Hi,
I followed the u201CHow tou2026 Log Changes in Plan Data Using Datastore Objectu201D  in order to trace the changes made in Planning.
Although it is working fine, Iu2019m only being able to write the changes made by users that have SAP_ALL.
Do you know what kind of authorization is missing on other users?
    Best regards,
    João Arvanas

    Hello João
I would recommend you to use the authorization logn on RSECADMIN to
trace what is the authorization missing for the user who you are using.
Also you can try to set break-points on the introduced code and check
where the issue is raised and check that is the authorization system is
    looking for.
Let me know if this helps, otherwise I will give you other updates.
Also you may post here what is the error that you are getting. That can
help us to giving more specific answers.
    Best regards

  • File dp.dbxml has LSN 17/1055014, past end of log at 17/678058

There are many many posts in forum with similar questions on why this happens. I know how to recover from the condition but looking for potential reasons why this happens.
We open env using following flags:
    DB_CREATE | DB_RECOVER | DB_INIT_LOCK | DB_INIT_LOG |
    DB_INIT_TXN | DB_INIT_MPOOL | DB_THREAD | DB_REGISTER;
we run checkpoint every 5 mins in a separate thread:
    txn_checkpoint(p_env, 0, 0, 0);
    and remove log files:
    log_archive(env, &List, DB_ARCH_REMOVE);
When some update happens we also checkpoint if data written is more than X MB (x=2).
    txn_checkpoint(p_env, 2048, 0, 0);
    log_archive(env, &List, DB_ARCH_REMOVE);
During shutdown we wait for all operations to finish, close the env and exit(). It runs on controlled env and 100% sure that log files do not get removed.
Please let me know if there are potential reasons why we should see it.
    It also causes SIGSEGV :

    Hi,
As you mentioned, these errors have been discussed heavily on the Berkeley DB XML. Do a search there on "Database handles still open at environment close".
Actually, I suggest you post the issue on the Berkeley DB XML, as the solution is more related to closing/deleting specific handles (e.g. XmlDocument, XmlResults, XmlContainer, XmlManager etc). It would also be useful if you could provide a simple stand-alone test case program that reproduces the issue.

  • How to view which users have logged into Hyperion Planning

    Hi all,
I'm trying to determine the best way to view users that have logged into Hyperion Planning (who and when). Is there an option in Shared Services or can this be viewed through Planning by the administrator? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Planning has never been the best at providing that information, you can look at the statistics page in planning which is pretty poor in my opinion.
The other option is audting but once again it doesn't really audit users logging in and out.
    Cheers

  • WORKFLOW:Fetching agent for task from organisation plan

    Dear Experts,
    I have created organisation plan.
Now I want to fetch agent for workflow task from the organisation plan created earlier.
Can anybody kindly guide how logic can be written for rule to fetch agent for my task in workflow.
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

    Hi Deepthi,
I guess unfortunately the answeris no. This question has been asked several times, if you search the forum you might find alternative ways to get this done. Check this [link|Can we change the user 'WF-BATCH' for the background task] for example.

  • Difference between Simple maintanence and Export mode and Organisation plan

    Hi all,
Can any one please explain the difference between Simple maintanence and Export mode and organisational plan in SAP easy access.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Naga

Expert Mode Infotype Maintenance: This interfaces allows you to edit individually selected objects in OM (Org Units, Positions, Jobs) via infotypes.
Expert Mode: Simple Maintenance Interface (PPOM_OLD) is used to quickly create a new Organizational Plan. As a user, you can pretty much maintain large volumes of data very easily ( i.e create several objects simultaneously), without having to go through the more "Performance Intensive" Org and Staffing interface.
In accessing the Simple Maintenance interface to create your org structure, the initial screen requires you to specify which evaluation path you want to create your org structure.
Organizational Plan: This is what provides you with a complete picture of an enterprise's environment. It comprises elements (objects like Org Units, Positions, Jobs etc) which are used as building blocks for creating an Organizational structure.
Need more information? Let me know.

  • Logging into Hyperion Planning is taking several minutes for users

    Hello All,
I'm hoping someone can help with an urgent issue. A problem has popped up the day after everyone returned from holiday break. All users that are listed in MSAD in Shared Services are taking several minutes to log into Hyperion Planning. The only users that are not having problems are admin and a testuser account. Both of these accounts are from the Native Directory.
When I go into Shared Services and do a search in the MSAD, it is taking several minutes for the list of users or groups to come up. Everything is working normally in Planning when I'm using the admin account, except for when I'm trying to assign access to a dimension. That is not working, but I can modify an existing access to a dimension.
Our IT department has restarted all Hyperion services and made sure that the service account (active directory) is not locked. Everything on their end looks like its running correctly, as far as they can tell. I've refreshed the database and security filters, but that has not corrected anything and I've reregistered the application with shared services.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!
    David

    Hello John,
Thank you for the response. I'm not sure if we do have multiple MSAD servers, so I've forwarded the question on to my IT department and I'm waiting for their response.
During my call with Oracle support, they suggested turning off the MSAD group configuration and restarting Hyperion to see if that would help. The only area that it seemed to help is in searching for users in MSAD. That works a lot faster now, but it didn't fix the problem with the users logging into Hyperion. I've sent Oracle the shared services logs for Admin, Hub and Security as they requested and I'm waiting for their response.
    Thanks,
    David

  • What trigger should I use if I want to keep record amendment log?

I am a newbie to Oracle forms, I would like to raise a simple question here ... hope you won't mind ... I have a form interface which accepts user input to record attributes for an object (e.g. personal information of a user). Now, because the importance of data, I was required to write log records in a journal table for changes made on the data. What trigger am I recommended to place and use?
    Thanks for any replies!

Duncan, thanks for your reply first. However, I have two queries:
    1) Any generic event state to indicate change of record rather than 'POST-INSERT', 'POST-UPDATE' and 'POST-DELETE'?
    2) Given that I use the 'POST' event, how can I get the pre-update value? (My log record is supposed to record the before-update value)
    Thanks for your reply!
