"Paste Email Plus 5.1" no longer works - why??

I have a Firefox add on called "Paste Email Plus 5.1" which allows you to paste email addresses into any text field. It is a great add on and I use it a lot but today it stopped working. I click on it and nothing happens except the appearance of a tiny white square under the lower left corner of the icon on my toolbar.
Previously, when sending an email, I would click the "Paste Email Plus" icon and a drop-down menu would appear with the names of my contacts. I would click on the name of the person I'm sending the email to and it would appear in the address field, eliminating the need to type in the address.
I hope someone has a solution to this problem because I really like this add -on. PS. My "Add This" add-on stopped working months ago and I can't get it back either.

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Oh gosh, this is ancient history for me.

Second, which exact set of installer discs? They have to be black colored retail discs, not grey ones which came with a specific model Mac and will only boot that model.
What are the exact specifications of the computer? Does it have sufficient RAM? You're asking a lot for a G3 to run Tiger.

Mail: CTRL Click popup gone (Copy, Paste, Open in. etc) popup no longer working in Yosemite Mail.

Current model Macbook Air, Up-to-date Yosemite. In Mail, the Control Click function no longer works on attachments. I've been using that as an option all the time, and today when I went to CTRL click on a file (PDF) to open it a different application, I realized that you no longer can even get a popup to appear. I need to open a pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro instead of in preview. While I can certainly use workarounds, this is annoying. Is this intentional or a glitch ?.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

External speakers are no longer working, why?

Ive been Apple Airplay and now my external speakers no longer work on my imac, it is something to do with Airplay or is there something that I need to fix or reinstall? Look forward to hearing from you. TIA

There are no external speakers in Sound Preferences/ Output, only internal speakers, or if you plug something into the output port, Headphones, or a sound interface device. Hold down the Option key and click on the sound icon in the top menu bar on your display and you will see the options for output and input.
Have you got an audio system plugged into the output port? If it is not working, check your cables.

Hyperlinks from email, pdf and word no longer work to connect to that webpage, though they work in IE.

I think I recently updated firefox, in any case, I do when requested. Just in the last few days, I can no longer make hyperlinks work from email, word or pdf documents. I have to cut and paste the url. I tried doing the reset under troubleshooting, but it did not work. I tried setting the network connection to auto detect, but that did not fix it either. As I can get hyperlinks to work with internet explorer, I assume it is something with firefox. I am not a particularly savy computer user, so clear instructions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Try to redo the default browser (i.e make IE the default and then let Firefox do it again).

Cut and paste emails addresses from a spreadsheet not working anymore.

Under Mount Lion and prior versions, in the Mail client I was able to copy a list of email addresses from an excel spreadsheet, paste them into either the To, CC, or BCC list and it would recognize the email addresses. Under Maverick, I do the same thing and it all goes in as text. I have to add a comma to the end of each email address for it to be recognized. Since this spreadsheet is sent to me, don't want to edit 100 users everytime there is an update. Is there a way to get this to work? Really annoying to have to extract the list and to add a comma to the end of each email address. Feature that went away in Maverick giving me a headache.

It's a bit of a workaround, but since it lets you add the comma to all the addresses at once, it shuold help you out baout 95%.

1 ipad, 1ipod touch (Plus 2 that are no longer working), why can I not hook up new ones to server.got the right password but will not connect. is there a limit of how many can be hooked up?

I am tying to hook up new ipods the we got for xmas and for some reason it just says that it in unable to connect to server. I am wondering if there is a limit of how many can be hooked up? we have an ipad, 1 working ipod and 2 previous ones that are not working and no longer in the house. any ideas? password id correct......

Problem trying to update - email dropping out, apps no longer working

I have been having big problems ever since this new update 10.2.1.537 appeared. It never has downloaded, and now my emails are all dropping off, I can't open my Facebook posts and most of my apps quit working. How can I fix this???

Thanks for reaching out to us, debrakrol. I woud like to take a look at these issues that you are having. When you say that your emails are all dropping off? What exactly do you mean by that? Are you not getting your emails to come into your device? Or are they deleting by themselves? Have you tried to delete the email account off of your phone and add it back on: http://vz.to/1be25S2 Let's try that out and test it out.
With Facebook, let's go ahead and try to remove that application from the phone and again try to re download that app. The other applications that quit working, are these apps that you have downloaded from the App World?

Alert EMAILS from IX2-200 No Longer Work

The last ALERT email I received was in November 2014 advising me that there was a new upgrade available. Since that time there has been nothing .... recently I had to "shut" the system down by unplugging it .... guess what -- never rec'd an email ALERT to the failure. I have tried updating my email in the system and request a test email ... but never get anything.
I beleive my emails should be going thru the myremote.nas relayhost server. this is what I see in my /usr/local/cfg/Email.xml (<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><Email Default_Password="Hkv482N9G" Default_RelayServer="alerts.myremotenas.com:587" Default_Sender="[email protected]" Default_User="lifelinesohostorage" _Fixed_="1">).
I have the older IX2-200 NON-CLOUD Edition of the system and it is at 2.1.46.30093 firmware (latest).
Don't know if this is a system problem or if something has happened to the myremote.nas server. Is there an update available or something else that I have to do in order to get my ALERT notifications working again??

I reset my email in settings to blank, shut down the device and then restarted. Once rebooted, I went to settings and added my email back in and asked for a test message to be sent -- nothing received. SSH'd into the device and upon looking at the mail.log here's what I see ....

License for Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro no longer works -- Why?

I am getting a very strange error message that indicates my license is no longer valid. I have captured a screen image of the error and would like for someone to look at it. Hopefully, this problem can be solved quickly, as I am in the middle of some Acrobat work. PLEASE HELP!
Note so far I have tried the following (in this order):
1. Did a repair from the Help pulldown menu.
2. Downloaded from Adobe a completely new Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 (AA Pro 9) and then did a repair.
3. Disable Norton's firewall protection.
4. Uninstalled AA Pro 9 and then re-installed the newly downloaded AA Pro 9 (in 2.)
None of these fixed the problem. I have a Windows Vista (32-bit) platform.
Here are the details of the error message:

After you uninstalled, you should have done two additional steps before the reinstall: 1. Deleted any left over parts of the Acrobat folder and 2. run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html. These are not sure to solve the problem, but in many cases the problem is related to errors in the registry that the cleaner resolves. Sometimes, there are also some corrupt files left in the Acrobat folder, particularly some bad addons that can be an issue.

With Mountain Lion, airplay no longer works, why not?

The only thing that has changed is that I went from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
Have mid-2010 iMac, 3 Airport Express', 3 powered speakers. Was able to send music to three rooms. Firewall was on.
After upgrading to Mountain Lion I noticed the firewall was off. I turned it back on.
I tried sending music via the Airport Express'.
Got a message that my firewall settings were preventing Airplay and that I should turn the firewall off.
That seems likde a bad idea.
Any suggestions?

I am haveing this exact same issue. I have plugging in 3 monitors and tried two different VGA to mini displayport and nothing is working. I recently bought a Acer monitor and it work for an hour and now it back to doing the same thing.
When I plug the VGA adapter in to the monitor the monitor think its not connected to a computer then when disconnecting the VGA adapter the monitor thinks it is connected to a computer.
NEED SOME HELP!!! at the point of all my hair is pulled out.

I can't load new itunes and the old itunes no longer works - why?

My old itunes worked perfectly and then just stopped working yesterday. I have tried for 3 hours to install the new version but without success.

- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into new account.
NOTE
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

Nikon RAW editing software no longer works, why?

Hi all
Nikon NX2 is one of my central tools on my Mac since as a professional photographer I really need it to handle RAW images. It is by far superior to all and any other products for handling RAW (NEF/DNG) files.
Nikon seem to have stopped support for Lion and Mountain Lion, which has left me in a quandry. It means that I now run most of my work and software from an external Firewire drive with 10.8.3 installed, while retaining my 10.6.8 on the internal drive to run NX.
I have asked Nikon and have had no satisfactory response.
So my question really is if anyone here has a workaround or solution to this dilemma.
