Paste functionality suddenly not working

I currently use Captivate 3. I have been working on a project where I have been editting the background image in Photoshop and pasting the editted version as a background to the original slide. Captivate is no longer pasting the image as a background. I do recieve the warning message, but when I click OK, the old image is not replaced. I also tried it on a blank slide and the slide remained blank.
As I was trouble shooting I realized the paste as image functionality is not working either.
I am able to save images, import them to the library and then replace the background using the slide properties,,, but this takes way too long when you have 50 slides to edit.
Any thoughts as to what is happening?

Hi there
Perhaps try restarting Captivate. Sometimes it gets tangled in memory and needs a kick in the pants to straighten itself out.

My copy and paste functions are not working properly since iOS 8 update

Ever since I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 4s the copy and paste function isn't working. It'll work the first time but any time I copy something else it pastes the first thing I copy. The only fix I've found is rebooting the phone but that is a pain to do every time I want to copy something and should be very unnecessary. I updated to 8.0.2 but that didn't fix it.

My Copy and Paste Function is not working

I recently upgraded to Firefox 16.02 and everything worked fine for a while but last night out of the blue my copy and paste function stopped working. As far as I know I have not done anything different. My copy paste function still works in Chrome and IE.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox and that did not solve the problem. As we speak I am running an AV scan and I also cleared the web cache and what not in Firefox. Ran it in safe mode... nothing seems to work!
Interestingly though, when I went to Copy and Paste the "trouble shooting info" from the clipboard to here on this page it worked fine.

Excel copy / paste function does not work with Smartview

We recently upgraded to latest version and this is the first tiime we are using Smartview. None of our users can use Excel copy / paste function between worksheets in a file or between files. The function only works within an active worksheet. What is the fix here?

Try THis
Disable the Transition formula evaluation and transition formula options.
In Office 2003:
1. Point to Tools -> Options...
2. Select the Transition tab
3. Deselect the following entries:
- Transition formula evaluation
- Transition formula entry
4. Choose OK
5. Repeat the above steps for each worksheet in the workbook, by selecting each one in turn adn repeating steps 1-4.
In Office 2007:
1. Point to the Office button
2. Choose Excel Options
3. Select Advanced (at the left)
4. In the right-hand pane, scroll to the bottom
5. Under Lotus Compatibility Settings for..., deselect:
- Transition formula evaluation
- Transition formula entry
6. Select the next worksheet in the drop-down menu
7. Repeat steps 5-6 until all worksheets have been processed
8. Choose OK.

Copy and Paste function is not working in FFv23

I cannot place cursor and choose content to copy. Cursor scrolls and will not allow me to highlight.

i did upgrade to quicktime 7 pro on windows xp.
I do now have selection possibilities and export possibilities but i'm unable to cut and past selections. Functionalities stay grey in my menu. I did read the manual, followed the steps (made a selection) but still nothing.
When i make a selection it doesn't export my selection only eather, it exports my whole movie, the same with saving?
any idea here? It's urgent. thanks, wendy

Copy and Paste of Images NOT working.

When I right click on an image and choose 'copy image' and then try to paste it into my editing software, all i get is a string of text that is the location of the image as if I had chosen 'copy image location' instead. what gives?

I too was unable to copy & paste ''IMAGES'' suddenly. This function continued to work correctly in my Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers while not working in Firefox. (I WAS able to copy & paste ''''TEXT'''' however in all 3 browsers.)
As described by another poster, I would click on "Copy image" as I always did, but instead of the image appearing when I clicked paste, the ''URL'' of the image appeared instead.
My computer developed this problem suddenly yesterday after downloading and installing the newest version of Firefox, which is 12. I tried some of the suggested solutions here to no avail, but I strongly suspected the problem was with Firefox 12. To test this, I re-installed Firefox 11 and immediately my copy & paste function started to work correctly once again and I am now able to copy & paste images once again.
I will not install Firefox 12 again until Firefox corrects this problem. I need this function and do not want to have to deal with a convoluted method of saving a graphic with unnecessary extra steps, thank you. Every single time I upgrade Firefox, something is incompatible with the new version and no longer works. This is always a nuisance, especially when it is my Norton toolbar.
This time it was my copy & paste function (again, for images only.) Anyone else with this problem should re-install Firefox 11 to see if their copy & pasting of images function is suddenly restored, as mine was. Good luck! :)

Help! My MacBook is all of a sudden not working. I can login to my account but as soon as I do that the screen goes completely white. I can change the volume and I have a mouse but that is it. I've tried safe starting my computer and that doesn't work.

Something you can try is resetting it all Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. Or go to Settings > Store & sign out & log back in. Another thing you can do is restore your ipod. This has happened to me but the only thing i did was that i created a new account but try doing the things above i just told you. :)

Copy Function is Not Working properly In Order Management

When an order with remnant model is copied, it copied only the topple model line and they include items attached to the top model line. It doesn’t copy the
option class lines and the option item lines (unshipped and shipped).
Example-
Enter an order with for pd-pto-model. See order#21231.The ordered quantities and structure of the model is shown below:
pd-pto-model 5 qty
pd-std-item1 (included item) 5 qty
pd-pto-oc (option class) 5 qty
pd-std-item1 (included item with rfr checked) 5 qty
pd-std-item2 (option item with rfr checked) 5 qty
pd-std-item3 (option item) 5 qty
Booked the order and pick relased the order. While shipconfirming only shipped 5 qty of pd-std-item3 and staged the rest. On querying the sales order, the line status is seen correctly as follows:
pd-pto-model Closed
pd-std-item1 (included item) Picked
pd-pto-oc (option class) Closed
pd-std-item1 (included item with rfr checked) Picked
pd-std-item2 (option item with rfr checked) Picked
pd-std-item3 (option item) Partially Interfaced to receivables
Copied this order from the order header. The new order# is 21232.On querying the order, I see only 2 lines as follows:pd-pto-model.

Copy and Paste function no longer works in version 3.6

Ever since I upgraded to version 3.6 (finally after waiting for all of the crash bugs to be fixed after having to downgrade last fall) now the simple copy & paste function won't work when copying from one webpage to put link or paragraph of text into the body of an e-mail, through any of my web based mail services (Yahoo, Onebox, etc.)
So, when doing all of this version updating how could Mozilla allow such a simple function used in every program since the invention of the computer... to be disabled?

Im having this problem, and although it took time to tell because it is intermittent, it still happens when all add-ons & theme are manually disabled.
I would have to test safe mode a little bit longer to be sure it didnt happen there.
It also affects other programs (like my metapad- notepad replacement) as long as firefox is open, but does not when the browser is closed, as far as I can tell.
(version 3.6.12)
It may or may not be related, but there's also a flicker
(black screen in page window for an eyeblink) when firefox
opens or returns from maximized state, and when it opens a menu.
Both bugs only recently started.

F11 Functionality is not working

I am working on 11.5.10.2 version.
In the Oracle Payables Invoice screen the F11 functionality is not working
For other screens like supplier entry / payment batches..etc, the F11 functionality is working.
When i enter the Invoice screen, i am pressing F11 and it comes to query mode.
I am giving the values and percentage, pressing Ctrl+F11 but its not showing the invoice data.
Error Notification given: "FRM-40301: Query caused no records to be retrieved. Re-enter."
Earlier its working fine...suddenly its giving me this trouble. I am able to query same thing in my friends system.
I know its quite silly issue but its really giving me a trouble. Could anyone give the solution for this. Is there any specific functionality am need to set for this?

The query is working if you are getting the message "FRM-40301: Query caused no records to be retrieved. Re-enter." You need to query for something that is in the tables which is usually case sensitive.
Or, use the Query/Find screen by clicking the Find button (flashlight icon) on the toolbar.
