Paste with borders formatting?

I want to copy and paste a few cells and retain the border formatting. Is this possible in Numbers '09?
If so how do I do it?

The English version works the same as yours in this respect.
With border selection, it first selects the entire line but if you click again it switches to single segment mode.

It's all a bit confusing, especially if trying to do a combination of full lines and single segments.
When we click a second time to pass in 'select segment' mode, it stays in this mode so we may select several non-adjacent segments 'easily'.
The procedure for copying a border style is to select the border segment, copy style, select the borders you want changed, paste style.
One more feature which I missed. I thought (wrongly) that we where saving the style of the cell but knowing that we select only the style of an edge is really interesting.
I see the same problem as you when I copy the style of the cell: sometimes I get four borders, sometimes none.
All in all, today I learnt several things so I will go to sleep happy

Word 2010 - I can only paste as plain text. Paste with source formatting is mising.

I am using Word 2010 (version 14.0.7143.5000).
I started writing a document with different formatting/styles. If I copy formatted text from this document and try to do a paste special, I only have the option to paste as un-formatted plain text. My different paste options are gone. This
used to work.
I have performed Windows Update patches recently. I do not have Skype or any Skype plug-ins installed that I am aware of. I tried running Word in safe mode and without any web browsers open.
Any ideas?

I eventually figured out the problem. The problem was not in Word or a setting within Word. The problem was that I had other programs open that were modifying the data in the clipboard, specifically Windows Remote Desktop and Tight VNC viewer.
They were converting the data in the clipboard to plain text without my knowledge. So once I closed VNC and change Remote Desktop not to share the clipboard between machines, the data in the clipboard kept its formatting and the different Paste
options in Word returned. Hopefully this information will help others with this problem.

How Can I Get Back the Options to Paste with Formatting?

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on a Windows 7, 64-bit machine. It's been up and stable for months and months.
I don't recall installing anything before this happened or doing anything strange, but...
... recently Paste Special or Paste has stopped allowing me to past with either "Text with structure plus basic formatting (bold, italic)" or "Text with structure plus full formatting (bold, italic, sytles)
Those last two radio buttons on the Paste Special panel are grayed out.
This afternoon I re-installed DW CS5 from the installation discs and ran the updater (I did NOT first delete DW.) Reinstalling did NOT repair the problem.

Here is what is going on..

the above image is the area trying to paste.. which includes an entire row of html within a table and includes an image. so i try to copy and paste.. the following is the end result.

Acrobat X Pro Does Not Export to Excel with Proper Format

I just upgraded from AA8 Pro to X Pro because 8.0 didn't run well in Windows 7. It was much easier to export a report from a PDF to an Excel table and in 8.0 I never had this issue with the formatting.
Sorry for all of the screen grabs, but I don't know else to explain what is happening.
The the original PDF of the report I need to convert to a table in Excel:
Using Save As... > Spreadsheet > Excel Workbook, here is the resulting table created by AAX. Note that the date is displayed correctly the format is "Custom":
Note the "Custom" format displays the date using the standard U.S. English convention, but when you change the format to "Date" it switches to the Chinese convention.
When selecting the cell containing the September 4th date, it recognizes it as a "Date", but it thinks it follows the Chinese convention, hence believing September 4th is actually April 9th.
If I select all of the cells and set the format to "Date" and "English (U.S.)", the dates where the Day value is below 13 and could be interpreted as Month, switch with Month and September 9th becomes April 4th.
Now here is the kicker, if I export the report PDF to a Word doc, the data appears as a table in Word, as it should. I can copy of the table from Word and paste into Excel and the dates are formatted properly. I am frustrated that in AA 8.0, I could select the data, right-click and send to an Excel doc that automatically opened. It now seems that I have to export to a 3rd program and copy and paste the data. Please tell me this is a known issue and there is a fix coming soon for it.
Again, I never had this issue with AA 8.0 and other than upgrading to AA X, there has been no other changes to my system.

i am having exactly the same issue with Acrobat X Pro - with linked Excel 2010 tables in Word 2010.
Has there been a resolution to this eissue - it is potentially very time consuming to work around this issue for me.

Copy, Paste and Text Formatting

If I copy text from another application, then paste it into a
Fireworks textbox, it replaces the Fireworks formatting with the
formatting from the previous application. I'm looking for something
along the lines of the "paste and match style" function found in
most Apple programs. Also, if I copy text *from* Fireworks, then
paste it into another application, it shows up as an image, not
text.
Any way around these problems? (At least they're problems for
me.)
I've been using FW since it was originally released, and I
don't recall these problems in previous versions. I don't have any
earlier versions installed, however, so I can't be sure.

Open the text in the text editor (Text > Editor) and copy
and paste it
from there. You can also paste text into the text editor to
remove
formatting from other software.

No video with supported formate and mime type found

I am able to view videos on all but 1 website: http://www.start-american-sign-language.com/free-sign-language-asl1.html
When I view that page, the video box only shows the x with "no video with supported formate and mime type found" being displayed.
I have updated to the most recent palemoon (25.3.0) and have the following plugins installed
DRM 9.0.0.4503
Shockwave flash 16.0.0.305
Silverlight 5.1.30514.0
VLC Web Plugin 2.2.0.0
Windows media Player Dynamic Link LIbrary 3.0.2.629
I have cleared my cache and cookies, and am unable to view the video in question. If I go to https://www.youtube.com/html5, it indicates that I have an operable Webelement player and Web VP8, and all others are exclamation points.
Does anyone know why I can't watch the (mp4) video(s) in question? I have turned up no viable solutions using the forums or google.

This happens when there is no support in your Windows XP version to play any of the media file formats that the website offers with the HTML5 media player (i.e. not a Flash player is used, but a video tag).
That are MP4 files with type="video/mp4"
*VLC shows: Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
You might be out of luck on Windows XP and your only option would be to use an external media player and paste the links in its location field.

Why has paste stopped including formatting and images?

I am pasting text and images from a PDF or Web pages and when I paste into Word or Evernote, etc my Macbook no longer does the default paste with formatting and loses the images too. I've tried cmd-v, edit>paste, all forms of paste but nothing gives me the old default of paste with formatting and images. I'm getting text with some formatting like bold etc, but all the layout it lost, line breaks, etc. it'a juat one block of tect. This used to work properly before upgrading to Mountain Lion. Is there a fix? I just want to paste WITH FORMATTING AND IMAGES.

Inline list with borders

I have set up an inline list for a top navigation bar and
want to make it look like "buttons" so I've formatted it with
borders around each item. Looks great at "100%" but when you
increase or decrease the page size, everything shifts and my text
is no longer in my "boxes". I thought perhaps using ems instead of
px size would help correct this problem and perhaps I'm on the
right track, but so far everything continues to shift when I
increase or decrease the page size. Does anyone have ideas on how
to fix this... I'm wondering if I will be forced to create my site
with percentages instead of fixed size divs for starters? I
generally prefer to set a fixed size but perhaps this is faulty
thinking?
At any rate here is the URL for what I have so far... I'm
just setting up an empty template which has dummy content until I
get the kinks worked out. Thanks for your help! :)

Trying to embed a video file in HTML5: ERROR=No video with supported format and MIME type found?

Hello all!
I am desparate for a solution. I am testing my site on Firefox and Explorer and still no sign of a functional video yet.
Firefox: I get the error: No video with supported format and MIME type found.
Explorer: I just get a distorted layout.
Here is the code I am working on:

As Jon said, you must declare the page as HTML5.
And your server may not be set up to deliver video as a binary file if it is an .OGG file. I have not seen this problem with .MP4 or .M4V in the past, but every server is a little different.
To add a MIME type, you need to change your .htaccess file on an Apache server thusly:
AddType audio/ogg .oga
AddType video/ogg .ogv
AddType application/ogg .ogg
AddHandler application-ogg .ogg .ogv .oga
Additionally, MIME types can usually be changed on a server's Control Panel. One can also ask one's hosting provider to do this as well.
Firefox makes it necessary to use OGG files. Webkit-based browsers will deal with .M4V or .MP4 and I understand Internet Exploder will work with the latter two as well.

I can't speak about this occurring with FaceBook since I don't use FaceBook, but I see the same type of thing when I copy and pasted from websites. It doesn't always happen and I cannot find any particular set of circumstances under which it occurs or does not occur.
I am merely responding to let you know that it happens to me as well and I have seen no way to correct it. I'm not so sure that there is a way to correct in in that it may have something to do with how the original text is formatted in the PDF or on the website and how it eventually "fits" into the text field or the area in which it is pasted.

The formatting i use for my date field i.e <QUOTE_DATE>, ends up either with NO formatting or giving me an error "[010906_114656657][][ERROR] Invalid XSD string: 27-OCT-2005 (XMLP Template Viewer)". The default formatting available with the form field dialog box (MS-Word) feature also doesn't work.
I have the following formatting for this field in the form field:

When i read the user guide, it reads that the date should be in the canonical format i.e: YYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss+HH:MM
However i am not getting the date from the base table's in this format. Is the error happening due to incorrect format or is there some other reason behind this? Please let me know, how can i overcome this issue.

Problem with date format when ask prompt web-intelligence

Bo XIR2 with 5 SP. Instaled on Windows 2003 with support Russian.
Inside BO every labels, buttons - use russian. But when invoke web-report and Prompt appear there is problem with date format.
Looks like korean format of date 'jj.nn.aaa H:mm:ss'. I see system settings of date in Win .. everything right
What i have to do?

Regarding the soln y provided me earler with the thread "Problem with date format"...
What is happening is....I am able to change the 2400 to 0000 but when it is changed from 2400 on jan 1st to 0000 the hour is changing but not the date....the date still remains as jan 1st instead of jan 2nd....
Eg: Jan 1st 2400 -- changed to -- jan1st 0000
instead of jan 2nd 0000
Could you please help me in this issue...
