Pasting code for HTML Widget, not working!

Hello,
I recently watched the support video for widgets and Adobe Muse, and the video stated you simply copy the code for HTML Widget, and once you paste it into Adobe Muse, Muse would be able to automatically recognize that it is a widget and it would paste correctly. However, when pasting my HTML code into Muse I literally get the code. Nothing appears!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If the code you're pasting appears to Muse to be valid HTML to embed, it should automatically paste as an HTML page item. If it's pasting as text, it may not be valid HTML, or Muse might not recognize it.
You can also choose 'Insert HTML...' from the Object menu, and then paste your HTML into the dialog box.

HTML Widget not working with iBooks when exported

I've created an HTML widget for my iBook using Tumult Hype. The widget itself uses the draggable code. When I test it on Chrome and Safari, the code works fine. However, when I use export the iBook and test it on my iPad, the images are not draggable. This is also a problem with movie files, accordion drag and drop lists, etc.
Anyone know what's going on?

I never used iWeb08, but I just tried to make a site in '09 and my HTML widgets don't work either, on the web. They work if I publish to a folder.
The widgets load flash .swf files. I had to manually put them in the site folder on my computer, and in the widget I access them with a file name like "../flash/file.swf". It worked on the folder, but when I published to the site, they don't load.
Since iWeb doesn't know about the folder I stuck in there, I had to upload it to the site folder also. But that still doesn't fix the problem. I looked at the HTML widget source, and to me it looks like the file pathnames are correct, it just doesn't seem to be running the widget.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Purchased Activation Code for Aperture does not work

I just installed Snow Leopard and experienced the issue with the old version of Aperture. So downloaded the trial version then bought the Activation Key for £69 but the Activation key they email ed me say "Invalid Code".
I cut and paste and retried the install but to no avail. Emailed Apple Support and they sent me here to the forums because I quote

Code for flash movie not working?

ok, I have searched hi and low for this and found lots of great info from Wyodor on this forum but I just cannot get this to work! I have tried the code, replaced the paths and sizes relative, I have everything (swf flv) in the same directory on my server (not mobileme) but still nothing. All I see when I visit site is a grey box. What am I missing? It seems pretty straight forward. Please help! Thank you

Code for acquiring data not working like i'd expect

Hello everyone. I posted my code that collects voltages from an NI 9215 DAQ card. I'm wondering why it acts so interestingly. For instance, at frequencys that are multiples of ten the waveform graph is frozen in place, and at lower frequencys (2-3 Hz) the data is changing faster rather than slower. Take a look! I'd like any input you have.

You are acquiring 10,000 samples at a rate of 100,000 samples per second. So you are acquiring data 10 times per second. If you acquiring signals that are a multiple of 10 Hz, then you are gathering integral number of cycles and it will look stationary on your waveform graph.
If you are looking at frequencies that are not a multiple of 10, or less than 10 Hz, then you are getting fractional or incomplete cycles in any given capture, and it will look like your sine wave is walking across the graph.

Generated Code for Button Bar - Not Working

I'm working with LightSwitch 2013 (Visual Studio 2013 Update 4), and I noticed that when I view my HTML5 client in Internet Explorer 11 and switch between tabs (in the HTML5 client), the buttons become barely visible (like they were disabled, but they're
still enabled). Is there a quick fix for this, like regenerating the javascript that was generated to do this?

Edit: Here's a picture of what I mean. The button looks disabled, but is actually enabled. Any buttons that are disabled just show up as even less visible. Also, if I switch between tabs enough times, it'll fix the issue and look enabled again. Any advice
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you added the button to the command bar for each tab or only the first tab?
If you want 'Add OS' available in more than one tab then you need to add buttons to all relevant tabs, but wire up to the same command and event handler in code behind.

Javascript code for showing time not working

hi Gurus,

Serial Key code for Adobe Audition not working

I purchases Adobe Audition CS6 last week and I keep getting the message “The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. Customer Service" The company Leximart that I bought CS6 provided me with a cserial key code that doesn't seem to work. Leximart is impossible to get a hold of by phone and there is nobody live to talk to at Adobe. Any suggestions?

Google Voice Widget Not Working in Safari 5.1 which is Adobe flash wmode transparent based

Google Voice Widget Not Working in Safari 5.1 which is Adobe flash with wmode transparent set. For that matter all flash text fields in Safari 5.1 are not working accross the web when wmode is set to transparent. This is a Safari bug! Other browsers work fine.
Well after much research Adobe flash text field with wmode transparent set is not working in Safari 5.1 when any flash object has the wmode set to "transparent", or "opaque". The problem is many site must layer flash objects with html so the wmode transparent must be used.
Affecting sites like BEST BUY, WALMART, CVS, STAPLES, Chechout their flash based weekly ads and find one that you need to update the quantity in the flash pop-up and the text field with keyboard strokes will not work. Flash text fields were all working fine until several month ago when Safari rolled out 5.1 working for Google Voice Flash based widget which uses the wmode transparent. HELP!

On file open: "This document contains JavaScript code for a widget that no longer exists."

I had an existing, functional datepicker in a web page.
Recently I downloaded the UI Datepicker in the Widget Browser and installed it in DW CS5. Now every time I load the file that calls the datepicker that I added myself, a warning opens with the following text:
This document contains JavaScript code for a widget that no longer exists. If you don't remove the code, the browser might display JavaScript errors when loading the page. Would you like Dreamweaver to find all instances of this code for you?
Widget: $("#reservDateBegin").datepicker();
Widget: $("#reservDateEnd").datepicker();
Clicking "Yes" opens the file and shows the search box at the bottom of the window with [current document] in File and $("#reservDateEnd").datepicker(); in Matched Text. Clicking "No" just opens the file.
The error is wrong, since installing the widget is what caused the error in the first place!
How can I get DW to stop showing this message?

I do understand you're trying to be helpful. I was just hoping providing the relevant code snippets would be sufficient so I didn't have to take the time to provide a "cleaned" version of the files and upload those to a public-safe location.

This is exactly my point: I haven't used any of the DW "systems". I've always manually coded in DW, so I can't have removed a Spry widget in the first place. It wasn't until I installed the Widget using the Widget Browser that I started getting the error (I don't mean adding the datepicker widget to the code using the DW Insert menu - I mean installing the Widget into DW itself). Ignoring such an erroneous/incorrect error seems kind of silly, since every time I open the file I get the error message.
Anyway, as requested, the following are links to the contactUsCleaned.php page, and the php included headerCleaned.php file. Since these use php includes to complete the rendered HTML, they won't look right in the browser, but as you know viewing the source will show the relevant html, javascript, and jquery code. I didn't see any way to upload the files in this forum, which, due to the php code, would be preferable to see exactly what my code looks like...

The footer.php file the contactUs page includes is simply a set of HTML links to the pages on the site, copyright info, and the Google Analytics script. There is no other code in the footer.php file.

how did you take the screenshot?
if you used a key combo like command+shift+ a number it will be saved as a file on your desktop
you need to add control* to whatever key combination you pressed to put it on your clipboard

The Help Tab (OSX ML) where you search for something does not work

If I click "Help" and then search "expand" it will show me where expand is. But in CS6 when I clicked it the command would go through and pull up the page to expand pixels. Instead, I have to go find it. It works in every other Adobe app I use except Photoshop CC.

Thanks a lot for your help (and sorry for not having answered quicker, but my boss gave me a more urgent task last week...).
Anyway, I did what you suggested (re-importing into a brand new project), and then the search for synonyms really worked! But, being a sceptical person, I did the same with another project, and with that one, it did not work. So, what I did next was compare all the settings of these two projects, and I found a difference.
RH8 now contains a function that's called 'Teilzeichenfolgensuche' (I don't know the English expression, but have a look at the attached picture: this is a screen shot from the second page when I generate WebHelp). After having done several tests, I came to the following conclusions:
Search for synonyms does not work in HTML-Help, but it does work in WebHelp (and maybe others, but they are not relevant for me, so I did not test them);
Search for synonyms does only work, when the function 'Teilzeichenfolgensuche' is NOT activated.
Could maybe somebody test this, too, and post here whether my conclusions are really correct?
Btw: This fact is not mentioned in the RH-Manual; actually, this function 'Teilzeichenfolgensuche' is not even mentioned there (at least not in the German edition)!!!
Can hardly wait to see your feedback; thanks again for everybody's support!
