Patch 018.020.005.002FP
Where can we find the Release Notes on Patch 018.020.005.002 FP?
Delora, I would recommend that you contact CRM On Demand customer care. The release notes on patch 018.020..005 has been posted but not 018.020.005.0002 FP.

http://www.box.net/shared/7htopivauhThank you...
Just to confirm, as this is a major issue for us - Am I correct in stating that currently the "Update Opportunity Totals" button is not calculating correctly, and will not be until Patch 018.020.005FP is applied to our environment?
According to our "Service Information" section, that will not occur until 5/7/11...
Can you please confirm that I am understanding you correctly?
If that is, the case, can you please provide an additional documentation with specifics on this miscalculation?

Hi,
I am trying to install VPN Client from my client site. While installing i am facing the below error.
Your system is missing a critical Windows security patch (MS12-020) required to gain access to this system. Use the link below for more information on installation, or open Windows Update and install all available critical updates. When you're finished updating
your system, log out and try again. If you're still having problems, contact your system administrator.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2621440
I went through all the related sites but still i did not find any solution. Under Windows installed updates i could see the security update for Microsoft windows (KB2621440). If its already exist why it is not taking this security patch?
Kindly guide.
Best Regards,
Yadav KankanwadiHi,
Based on Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-020, this security update resolves two privately reported vulnerabilities:
KB2621440 and KB2667402.

Thanks!

Latest kernel patch, new version of genpatches, new version of lockless, and alot of cleanups and bug fixes.
New feature implemented called: "E-Mission Tunables". It was derived from the idea of the customizable timeslices for Staircase that Tiger683 had released for nitro-sources. What I did was, I took that idea, and moved it to the next level. I do realize that these tunables could be set in sysctl.conf, but I personally like the idea of my own custom starting point. I would appreciate your input on this new feature.
Example of new E-Mission Tunables (All but Custom are preconfigured options):

Is there a enumeration entry like "eDataSetCommentarySet" for the commentary name (typ "106")

Write optimized dso - Stand DSO loading by Delta Req by req is not working
Hi All,
We have a data flow which has 1st layer having write optimized dso and then we are loading data to Standard DSO.
We are using Delta DTP to load the data with the option "Get All New Data Request By Request", but it is not working.
Suppose if i have 2 requests which are need to update to Standard Dso from Write Optimized Dso, it is updating in single request. We are on SAP BW 701 patch level is 005.
Please suggest me ....Hi Prasanna,
For reasons of downward compatibility, the system behaves differently for DTPs that were created before "SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Support Package Stack 13"
DTPs for which the indicator is set only get the first new request, even if there is more than one new source request at the time of processing. This restricts the way in which these DTPs can be used in process chains, because requests accumulate in the source and the target may not contain the current data. The Retrieve Until No More New Data indicator is therefore displayed for these DTPs.
I Suggest you to set this indicator and activate the DTP.
If you set the Retrieve Until No More New Data indicator and then activate the DTP, once it completes processing, a DTP request checks whether there are any further requests in the source. If the source contains more requests, a new DTP request is automatically generated and processed. Once the DTP is activated, the indicator is no longer visible in DTP maintenance.
This applies when the DTP is started by a process chain and also when you start the DTP directly from DTP maintenance.
The indicator is set by default for new DTPs that get data request by request.
If you do not select the indicator, the label for the Get All New Data Request By Request indicator changes to Get One Request Only. Once the DTP is activated, only this indicator is displayed in DTP maintenance.
Regards,
Sudheer. -
Hi,
I would like to know if the community releases of MaxDB can run in a VMware Windows guest.
I had access to SAP Note 1142243 that mention that this is the case as of version 7.6.04.07.
I don't quite understand the hierarchy of MaxDB releases, but I read somewhere that the third number is more like a feature number than a release order.
So what about 7.6.3.x and 7.6.5.x ?
Thanks,
GuillaumeHi Guillaume,
basically you may run also a 7.6.3.x MaxDB in a VM host.
I did that e.g. with Parallels on Mac OS X as host with Windows XP and Fedora 8 as guest os and had no issues.
Anyhow, the official supported versions have to be 7.6.4.x or higher - so 7.6.5.x from the SDN Download will be perfectly supported with VM scenarios.
Concerning the version string, this is the explanation from note "820824 - FAQ: MaxDB / SAP liveCache technology"
4. How can I interpret the MaxDB version string?
Importance for Version 7.5 or lower, for example kernel version 7.5:
7.5.0 BUILD 026-123-094-430
Major Number: 7
Minor Number: 5
Correction Level: 0
Build Number: 026
Support Information: 123-094-430
The interpretation of the MaxDB/liveCache version string changes with MaxDB Version 7.6.
Importance for Version 7.6 or higher, for example kernel version 7.6:
7.6.01 BUILD 020-123-115-206
Major Number: 7
Minor Number: 6
Support Package: 01.
Patch Level:020 (Build Number)
Support Information: 123-115-206
As of Version 7.6, a model was introduced with Support Packages and patch levels.
Support Packages:
- are created on a quarterly basis (approximately)
- in addition to the error corrections, Support Packages also include new functions (change requests).
Patch levels:
- are created more often than Support Packages and according to requirements (error situation),
- only high priority errors are corrected,
- corrections for delivered versions always result in a new patch level number.
Best regards,
Lars -
"running DEPLOYMENT", CTS+ & non-Deployment
Hello @All:
Currently we are facing some major issues, trying to use CTS+. When we create a transport request, attach (whatever epa or sca) release it and then tying to import it tp starts and runs and runs and runs...
In the state "running DEPLOYMENT" the transport request is not completed completey.
We got the following system landscape:
DEV --> PROD
Both systems are dual stacks with SPS12.
I have already read 4! different documentations with different explanations how to configure the transport route.
Anyway we did it like this:
DEV -
SAP----
> /SAP/ -
> PROD
JAVA------\
ABAP----
> /CUST/ ---
Does anybody know this issue?

then I have a <b>B5QL900758.FE6</b> that looks just like the B5QI900758.FE6.
And a <b>B5QV900758.FE6</b> which I posted before. -
hi guru's,
i have done a bdc rec prog.
here is the code:
perform open_group.
perform bdc_dynpro using 'SAPLMGMM' '0060'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_CURSOR'
'RMMG1-MATNR'.
*perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=ENTR'.*
perform bdc_field using 'RMMG1-MATNR'
wa_final-matnr.
perform bdc_dynpro using 'SAPLMGMM' '0070'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_CURSOR'
'MSICHTAUSW-DYTXT(02)'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'P+'.
perform bdc_field using 'MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(01)'
'X'.
perform bdc_field using 'MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(02)'
'X'.
perform bdc_dynpro using 'SAPLMGMM' '0070'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_CURSOR'
'MSICHTAUSW-DYTXT(17)'.
*perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=ENTR'.*
perform bdc_field using 'MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(04)'
'X'.
perform bdc_field using 'MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(14)'
'X'.
perform bdc_dynpro using 'SAPLMGMM' '0080'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_CURSOR'
'RMMG1-WERKS'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=ENTR'.
perform bdc_field using 'RMMG1-WERKS'
plant.
perform bdc_dynpro using 'SAPLMGMM' '4004'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=BABA'.
perform bdc_field using 'BDC_CURSOR'
'RMMG1-MATNR'.
perform bdc_transaction using 'MM03'.
{color}
Now my problem is, after pressing enter only iam able to select the views.
How to avoid this pressing of ENTER in the above program
*perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=ENTR'.*
so i need a key to replace this " '=ENTR'. " , which directly processes without me pressing enter key in my output.
regards,
chaituhi chaitanya,
use '/00' instead of '=enter'.

I have the same problem described by this user. Did anybody figure out what to do?
I am facing issue with Windows security patch (MS12-020). I installed the security patch 2621440. But still I am facing the issue that patch is not installed.
I am accessing a VPN site for one of my client GM. There is a URL which we use to connect to VPN and login and get access. I am currently on Windows 7.
The site is opening but after I am logging in, I am getting the error:
Your system is missing a critical Windows security patch (MS12-020) required to gain access to this system. Use the link below for more information on installation, or open Windows Update and install all available critical updates. When you're finished updating
your system, log out and try again. If you're still having problems, contact your system administrator.
http...support.microsoft.com/kb/2621440
I did go to this site and installed this security update on my ststem. Restarted the system and retried but still it is giving me the same error.
Can someone help me with this?Hi,
Firstly please check if you have installed this update successfully:
Open Windows Update, click View update history, click Installed Updates, check if there is this update.
In addition, based on Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-020, this security update resolves two privately reported vulnerabilities:
KB2621440 and KB2667402.

CIFS, not showing security properties
When attempting to view the security properties of a remote share we get an error message that says, "Unable to display security information". This happens when bringing up a remote server via UNC path, right clicking on a share or folder, and selecting the security tab. This only happens when viewing them through an optimized connection. If the domain admin remotes directly to that server, or another server at the same location, they are able to browse the properties fine.
We're using 4.1.3 and have disabled legacy WAFS services. All of our CIFS traffic is going through the CIFS accelerator. Couple of questions:
-Isn't the CIFS accelerator supposed to be transparent and pass this information along?
-Do the WAE's still need to be joined to the domain? I though this was a legacy WAFS function
-I did packet captures on both ends of the connection (and on the WAE) but didn't see anything obvious in the way of errors, any specific thing I can look for?
Thanks! In the failed trace, note that the NT Security Descriptor Length in frame 392 is 0, whereas in the working trace it is >0. This looks like bug CSCtg28040, which is fixed in the WAAS 4.1.5f release. Can you confirm that you have installed Microsoft patch MS10-020 (KB980232)?
Thanks again for the traces.

Help with sys_connect_by_path
Hi,
I'm newbie in retrieving hierarchical data, so please help with this.
I have Oracle 8.1.7.0.0.
I have a view with this kind of data:
TYP COMP_TYP
005 010
010 005
020 010
030 010
030 020
040 005
060 040
065 005
070 19
080 070
090 070
095 030
095 060
095 065
100 005
100 030
100 060
100 065
Now, the client wants to see these data in hierarchical way.
I tried this:
SELECT
LPAD(' ', 2*LEVEL, ' ' ) ||cbc.TYP TYP
,sys_connect_by_path( cbc.COMP_TYP, '/' ) COMP_TYP
FROM v_cls_test cbc
START WITH cbc.TYP='095'
CONNECT BY PRIOR cbc.TYP = cbc.COMP_TYP
in this case the desired result should be like
095
030
010
005
020
010
060
040
005
065
005
but I'm not getting the desired result.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Best regards,
MariusHi,
There is a problem with your data
TYP COMP_TYP
005 010 --> should this pair be 005 NULL ?? otherwise it's circullar
010 005
If you change the first pair one to 005 NULL and modify your query as follows:
SELECT
LPAD(' ', 2*LEVEL, ' *' ) ||cbc.TYP TYP
,sys_connect_by_path( cbc.TYP, '/' ) PATH
FROM v_cls_test cbc
START WITH cbc.COMP_TYPE IS NULL
CONNECT BY PRIOR cbc.TYP = cbc.COMP_TYP
you'll get the following output
TYP PATH
* 005 /005
*** 010 /005/010
***** 020 /005/010/020
******* 030 /005/010/020/030
********* 095 /005/010/020/030/095
********* 100 /005/010/020/030/100
