Patch 11.1.2.3.500

Hi All,
we are process of applying the patch .500 on 11.1.2.3 for all components in a distributed env.
My question is whether there is a single patch that I can run on each server and that will take care of upgrading the respective components on that server to .500 , or do I need to download the .500 patch individually for each components .
Regards
Abhishek

Apply this patch ,, 17529887 .. make sure you have this patch for correct OS for all the servers in your env, and as I always tell follow readme, and ignore "en" at the setting language in case if its english.

  • Applying 500 Patch  to 11.1.2.2.300

    Hi,
I am applying 500 Patch 18659116 patch to server (HFM,ERPI,ODI and FDM) .It is almost 2 hours 30 minutes it is still running I am getting
Conflict handler and some times its copying file and many activites it is doing
Is it really takes this much time to apply the patch.

If there is still activity on the machine then it will be still applying, it can depend on the resources availble to the machine to how long it takes, it can also take a while because some of the patches take a long time as they open a ear/war/jar file, apply a file, close the ear/war/jar, reopen and so on.
I would stick with it for longer before giving up, there was also a post in the past about it being slow - Re: Slow patching : 11.1.2.2.500

  • IE10 Compatibility with EPM workspace 11.1.2.2

    Hi,
We are upgrading our browser from IExplore 8 to IExplore 10,Could any one please suggest does the EPM 11.1.2.2 Workspace supports IE 10.
We are using EPM workspace for IR Reporting, also please confirm about IR Web Client Compatibility.
    Thanks,
    Giridhar

    Hi KK,
Does it mean the current EPM 11.1.2.2 will work fine on I Explore 10 and we need to apply patch 11.1.2.2.500 to make Workspace/Brio to work on IE 10.
    11.1.2.2
    x64
    Microsoft Windows
Windows 7 (all SP levels included)
    Windows 8
    Internet Explorer 10.x
    Firefox 10+
    Firefox 24+ ESR
    - Internet Explorer 10.x is supported only in 11.1.2.2.500, and only with Windows 7 and Windows 8.

  • EPM upgrade and migration from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.3 using LCM

    Hi All,
We are migrating Hyperion from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.3. Since this cannot be achieved directly,we are planning to upgrade first to 11.1.1.4 and then to 11.1.2.3 using LCM.
Does this upgrade path requires intermediate 11.1.1.4.500 patch to be applied on 11.1.1.4 to migrate to 11.1.2.3 or not?
    Thanks

    Thanks Harish.
I have gone through the doc but there is no information on whether 11.1.1.4.500 patch is required in EPM upgrade from 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.2.3.
Has anybody done the upgradation from 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.2.3 without the patch 11.1.1.4.500 on 11.1.1.4 successfully? .
Any issues during this upgradation path? please do share.

  • A question about ESS / MSS implementation.

    Hi All,
Just a brief again about our landscape as:
    1. We have an ERP ECC5.0 system which has J2EE6.40(add-in) without the 'EP' usage type and the present Support package level of the relevant ESS and MSS components are as follows:
    a. J2EE6.40 Support Package level is '17'.(We are going to deploy the XSS components here)
    b. ERP ECC5.0 system's Software Components details are as follows:
SOFTWARE COMPONENTS RELEASE LEVEL HIGHEST SUPPORT PACKAGE APPLIED
    SAP_BASIS 640 0016 SAPKB64016
    SAP_ABA 640 0016 SAPKA64016
    SAP_APPL 500 0009 SAPKH50009
    SAP_HR 500 0019 SAPKE50019
    EA-HR 500 0005 SAPKGPHC05
    2. We have a separate NW2004s(Dual stack(ABAP7.0+J2EE7.0) installation having EP7.0 with Support Package level is '16'. (We are going to deploy the Business Package for ESS & MSS here).
    Here are my questions?
    1. what is the best 'Support Package' level recommendation or combination is applicable for all the components(J2EE6.40,SAP_BASIS,SAP_ABA,SAP_APPL,SAP_HR,EA-HR...etc.,) involved in this type of mixed landscape - ESS & MSS implementation?
    2. If we apply the higher Support Packages 'only' for the ERP ECC5.0 software components such as: SAP_BASIS,SAP_ABA,SAP_APPL,SAP_HR,EA-HR - what other ERP ECC5.0 software components would get impacted from functionality prespective ?(let us say if we keep the current Support Package level for other software components as untouched)
    3. Is there any dependency exist from the Support Package point-of-view between the ESS MSS Business Packages and with XSS components(PCUI_GP; ESS; MSS)
    4. Is there any dependency exist from the Support Package point-of-view between XSS components and ERP ECC5.0 software components such as "SAP_BASIS,SAP_ABA,SAP_APPL,SAP_HR,EA-HR"
    Kindly address my above concerns.
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay
    To answer your questions
First you should check note 1007341 which helps consultants proposing this type of landscape
To answer some of your questions
    1) For SPs you have to patch ERP 2004 components following ERP 2004 stack and patch
ERP 2005 components following the ERP2005 stack recommendations at www.service.sap.com/sp-stacks
in terms of equivalence levels I would select SP levels from each stack with similiar release dates
    2) Presumably you will be using ERP2004 components in the front-end in some capacity therefore these
ERP2004 components must be patched in line with ECC 500 stacks
    3) There is dependancies between Business Packages and XSS
    4) There is dependancies between back-end components SAP_HR and EA_HR and XSS/BP
SAP_HR and EA_HR also have their own dependancies with the other back-end components listed
    Best wishes

  • Perl error on Solaris 8

I get this error when I run quick time server for Solaris on on e of my boxes. However the same thing works on another server with same OS and patch levels
    HTTP/1.0 500 Perl execution failed Server: DSS 3.0 Admin Server/1.0 Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2003 15:04:31 GMT Content-Type: text/html Connection: close

Does that happen both for booting from CDROM (i.e. the
"Software 1 of 2" CD) and from the DCA boot floppy?
Maybe a more recent Solaris 8 DCA floppy helps?

Yes, Its showing same error when I try even from DCA floppy.
I used DCA 0401 and DCA 1001. In case of DCA 0401 while
device identification , the screen becomes green and PC gets hang
and in case of DCA 1001 PC starts generating continuous beep sound.

  • Drm web services deploying

we applied patch 11.1.2.3.500 on 11.1.2.3. and the patch has successfully completed.and we have some problem with deployment.
in read me it was mentioned as below
    Optional: Redeploy the Data Relationship
Management Web service application (oracle-epm-drm-webservices.ear) to Oracle
Weblogic. The oracle-epm-drm-webservices.ear file is located in the
%EPM_ORACLE_HOME%\products\DataRelationshipManagement\api directory. This step is only required if
applying this patch to an 11.1.2.3.000 installation where the Web service application
has been previously deployed. See the “Redeploying a Web Services
Application” section in the Oracle® Fusion Middleware Security and
Administrator's Guide for Web Services for instructions to redeploy using
    Oracle Enterprise Manager.
we tried to redeploy but when we look into oracle weblogic server we dint find erp drm webservices on weblogic server. i think it is not deployed previously. any other way to find weather it is deploed eaerlier.
if it is not deployed how to proceed further.

    Hello,
Please ingnore this step becuase in your ENV that .ear is not deployed hence you can ingorne it..Essentially this .ear file is used for communication between EPM and DRM.while setup API adapter then it has to be deploy (this ear file).
    Thanks

  • Startup screen not very Mac-like

    All --
Received my new MacPro for work (whew, what a machine) -- while it seems to work great, the startup sequence is a bit disconcerting -- instead of the grey screen/Apple logo/twirly clock thingy, I get a black screen with white text looking very DOS-like (okay, maybe more UNIX like). It starts up okay, but the text-based startup gives me the willies...
Is this normal? Any ideas/corroborations would be helpful.

  • 500 Patch Post Configuration  Steps ODI

    Hi,
I have applied 500 patch to 11.1.2.2.300 environment.
I am doing Post Configuration steps
Import the following projects from odi/11.1.2.2.00/workrep in INSERT_UPDATE mode:
    - PROJ_AIF_File_Project.xml- PROJ_JDE_Adapter_Project.xml
    I have selected Import Project
In the select files to import there are no xml to import but readme says we need to import PROJ_AIF_File_Project.xml- PROJ_JDE_Adapter_Project.xml.
When I am selecting AIF_FILE_PROJECT it is
We need to select Yes and continue or I am doing wrong. Please help.Is my procedure correct ?

    Hi,
if you select AIF_FILE_PROJECT only this projects xml files will be copied.
Basically these files got replaced with patch the .500 patch has put some new files in the place of old one so you just need to Import the project that's it.
the project name you need to select in that all xml files are present which will be importing.
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Reader 11 Installation Package is getting more over 500 MB after applying 11.0.0.1 MSP Patch

    Hello,
I try to create an installable MSI Package with the MSP 11.0.0.1 applied to the 11.0.0 MUI Package. Then I want to deploy this to our clients in the company. I have done this with Adobe Reader X a couple of times very successful. What I have noticed now the original 11.0.0 Package has a size of 134MB if I apply the msp patch (the msp patch itself has 10MB) as usual the new package get a size of 583MB. This is too large and with Version 10 this was no issue at all. Does anyone has an idea why this is happening or seen the same behaivour?
    Thanks
    Ben

Did you find a solution ? I have the same problem with patch 11.0.03 and can't find any information...
Are we the only two that are bothered by this ?

  • T-500 running Windows Vista - Error trying to install Service Pack 2

I just spent my entire Saturday trying unsuccessfully to install SP2 for Windows Vista on my T-500.  My laptop has Vista Home Premium as the OS and is fully patched with SP1.
The message I get is "Error_not_found (0x80070490)"  when I try to install SP2
I ran SFC /Scannow and got a message that there are corrupt components and a direction to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS that has a huge file I cannot comprehend.
I also ran the "System Update Readiness Tool" prior to trying to install SP2 with no apparent effect.
I have tried various approaches to this such as running System Restore and reapplying everything  with reboots in-between.
I confirmed no spyware and also disabled my antivirus program (NOD) during updates with no effect.
Has anyone else out there had a similar problem who might be able to offer advice?
    Thanks,
    The Hoy

Are you sure you have the proper file downloaded for your system? x86 if you are running 32bit Vista and x64 if 64bit.
Other than that, you might try to use Windows Update. Note that you need to install all updates, possibly including IE8 before Windows Update will offer you SP2.
You might also try installing all updates from Windows Update and then running your stand alone SP2 installer, to see if that solves the problem.

  • Black screen with GMA 500 (driver psb)

    Greetings.
I'm trying to install Arch Linux in an Asus eee T91, which has a Intel GMA 500 graphic card. But, this one is not a REAL intel, but a PowerVR. With VESA drivers I achived to have it working but, at 800x600. In order to cope with the problem I'm trying to use the psb driver, which is properly explained on this thread. But, unfortunately, after following the steps, everything I could do is to get a better resolution in shell tty, but still no working X.
After executing X, the screen gets black, and stays that way until it shuts down. (Sometimes I get the tasking bar at the left top of the screen if I execute X from the same PC). I made to see by ssh (method I use to reboot this PC) , that X works, but, after a few seconds, they stop working. The screen is still black, anyway, and keyboard doesn't work either after executing X.

    Thanks

Driver is said to not work with Xorg server 1.7, see http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31995
There is new IEGD driver out there in the wild, but currently only in the form of some Ubuntu mega kernel patch. See http://www.fit-pc2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1322 and support my request there with your own voice! So we can adopt IEGD driver to Arch Linux!
