Patch download via wget fails for some patchid's

Hi,
downloading via wget(1) from http://sunsolve.sun.com/private-cgi/pdownload.pl?target=<patchid> fails with "ERROR 404: Not Found" for certain patchid's (i.e. 119689 or 125081), for these, one now has to specify also the patch's revision (i.e. 119689-04), it seems like patchid links to its latest patches are missing. (btw, I've also mention this along with other patch problems in another post at the administration/maintenance forum)
Would there be a reason/explaination for this?

What update rollup are you running on the DPM 2012 R2 server ? DPM 2012 R2 UR5 introduced a new refresh feature that will re-enumerate data sources on an individual protected server.
Check for VSS errors inside the guests that are having problems being backed up.

The latest software updates for Adobe Reader, Acrobat , AI cause PDF import to fail for some documents

Illustrator Version 18.1.1
Attached is sample PDF file. Previous versions of the software, and current versions without any updates, open this file just fine.

With update, however, When opening in Reader or Acrobat, we get the following error (this has been reported across multiple machines with the latest update):
"A drawing error occurred"
in AI:
"Can't finish previewing. Could not complete requested operation."
Import problems were not observed with versions:

18.0.0
Is this a known problem Adobe folks are working on?

Again, I'm guessing: it is possible that newer versions of Adobe products are more strict to adhere to PDF standards.
I have also tried to open your file using Adobe internal beta versions, and I've received the same errors. Meaning that this behavior is here to stay.

This hasn't prevented the build from completing so far; but now that I
started to play with some mwe2 custom generator fragments in my DSL,
when running the mwe2 workflow during the build it fails with such
exception, which I guess might be related:
java.lang.SecurityException: class
"org.eclipse.xtext.util.XtextSwitch"'s signer information does not match
signer information of other classes in the same package
can it be related?

[SOLVED] createAndInitRow fails for some attributes

I am inserting a new row using createAndInitRow() as follows:
Row newRow = myView.createAndInitRow(pairs);
where pairs is instance of NameValuePairs containing appropriate attribute names and values.
The problem is: a couple of the attributes aren't being set in the newly created row.
I can fix this manually by calling newRow.setAttribute("AttrNme", attrVal), which does set the value correctly.
All the names/values are identical between the two different calls, but createAndInitRow is failing on some attributes. Anyone have a clue why this is?

UPDATE:
I don't know why, but if I set the Default Value for the attribute in the entity object, then when I manually call newRow.setAttribute("AttrNme", attrVal) and then insertRow(newRow), the attribute is correctly inserted into the table. But when I remove the default value, the same code gives me an error, as stated in the first post.
And no matter what I do, the createAndInitRow is failing to recognize/initialize those attributes that I pass in.
Background Relevance?:
The problem attributes were added to an existing entity object and view object, after we added new database columns.

Why FACETIME started failing for some Ipad users all of a sudden last week? Is there a fix for it yet?

I bought an Ipad for my parents in India, so that they can use Facetime and make easy video calls. They are not techies to use Skype on other tablets. The FT was workig fine until last week. But it started failing all of a sudden. I have gone through apple forums and it looks like I am not alone facing this issue. Looks like there are some posts on the forums saying try few things to fix the issue. But no one speaks about why and how the issue started. Its too hard for my parents to understand this stuff and there is no Apple store with in 300 miles radius from where they live. Its so hard for my parents to loose the ability to see and talk to their kids. There is a reason why we $500 for one device. Does Apple understand this? Do they really care their customers satiesfacation??

Don't know what are the metrics we have, to believe the issue is not evenly spread out worldwide. But to me, this is not based on geographical location of the device or network. Becuase my parents have an Ipad with IOS 7 and my cousin have an Iphone 5 with IOS 7. Both live in same city. While my parents were not able to use FT on their Ipad, connected to their home network, my cousin could use it on his Iphone. He was connected to my parents home network. Not to his mobile network. So this makes me think the issue is neither geo-graphical nor network related.
Pataince It's been a week since the issue started and no meaningful answer from Apple yet. As I said, this is the only feature that made me choose an Ipad instead of other tablets with user friendly interface. Now this is gone too

URLEneQuery encoding is failing for some non english characters

While creating a URLEneQuery we are getting error com.endeca.navigation.InternalException: No support for 8-bit urls.
This error happens when the query string has some non english characters. (eg: Á).

UrlENEQuery is designed around processing URL data, and URLs are not permitted non-ASCII characters in their production. To represent non-ASCII characters they must be %-encoded in URLs according to their byte(s) representation in a particular character-encoding, and you should prefer UTF-8 for URLs. So your LATIN CAPITAL LETTER A WITH ACUTE (U+00C1) should appear as %C3%81 in your URL, then UrlENEQuery should be able to process that character.

Export to PDF fails for some reports, but report viewer works

Hi all
Our application produces several different reports.
- Report A can successfully be viewed in the ASP.NET report viewer control and can be exported to PDF
- Reports B and C can successfully be viewed in the ASP.NET report viewer (all pages), but export to PDF fails with a very unclear error message. The stack trace is attached below.
Two days ago, reports B and C have fully worked, and I'm sure by 100% that the report templates haven't been modified since then.
Can anyone explain what is going wrong? Is there some internal logging inside Crystal Reports that can be investigated to find out about the reasons of the error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS.: The Crystal Libraries under investigation are quite old. In fact, it is a very old application that still runs under .NET 1.0.

You say it is data dependent. Could you be a bit more specific. What data work or do not work ?
As a good test pls see if our samples reports work. They come with a default installation. If you do not have them any more - get them from [here|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100005852352008E/cr_xi_xtreme_rep_smpl_en.zip].
Can you display and export them ? Do you get the same error ?

WAR - how to continue compiling even when compile fails for some jsp's

i am trying to pre-compile all my jsp's and find out all the compilation
          errors in all the jsp's..
          i am defining a war app and i am making the weblogic server to precompile
          the jsp's.. i control this from web.xml
          the problem is
          weblogic starts compiling the jsp's and when it hits the first error it
          bails out.. i doesn't precompile the rest of the jsp's..
          how do i make weblogic server to continue compiling the rest of the jsp's??

You sure can run a Windows Form and while it is visible, run code in the Powershell script, and communicate the information from the 'main' script to the form.
To do this you need create a separate Powershell runspace and dependent on situation either use shared memory and timer in the form or delegates to directly call form elements

App Download on xecond computer for some Apps not working?

I have tried to download Adobe Premiere Pro and After effects on a second personal labtop. The download doesn't complete....this is the reason ( below) that comes up when I click on the error message......Lightroom installed but thats all that did?

When I go to share an imovie it downloads into theatre and for some reason loses a still shot in my opening image. How do I retrieve this? It's a two minute video.

How do I prevent my imovie from downloading to the theatre before sharing with Facebook, YouTube, etc? It is deleting part of my 2 minute movie. The opening screen has a sunsets nd title but on theatre it only has the title and music with a black screen. Help!

Make sure the "Add to Theater box is not checked:
I don't think this can be the reason for the problem with the opening screen though. Can you see the original phot in the event?
