Hi,
i want to upgrade my cluster from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.3
can somebody help me in finding the upgrade patch from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.3

patch for which operating system? and why you would like to patch 10203 ?
if you have metalink account you can download latest patches and documentation for particular patches.
search metalink knowledge tab for documentation.
for LINUX os patch download from metalink oracle support select tab patch&upgrade and search the patch i already mentioned.
for windows and mac os you can directly download from OTN.

I executed a "check for updates" upgrade from 150 to 151 and all my connections are not displaying in the connection pane. I had nearly 100 connections defined - how do I get these back? There seems to be several issues related to this but nothing is clearly described as to exactly how to get these back.

I take you didn't migrate your settings on first start after the upgrade; so logically you get a clean environment.
Now I guess the easiest fix would be to copy the [user profile]\sqldeveloper\system1.5.0.53.38\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.35\connections.xml to [user profile]\sqldeveloper\system1.5.1.54.40\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.42.

as far as i know there is no patch to upgrade from 4.0.2 to 4.1.

What would be the impact on Personnel Administration and Organizational Management submodules of HR? and the major worries abt ESS and MSS. Currently my client is using ESS and MSS in portal that can retrieve the data from the Backend 4.6c system. while doing upgrade is there any prerequisites i need to met or is there any post upgrade activities for HR or is there Any dependencies?
Because there is a complete architecutre difference for ESS and MSS in both versions, so how can i manage the things without data inconsistencies?

Just paid for LR upgrade from perpetual 5.7 to LR 6 (not CC). Why am I seeing "30 days left in lightroom mobile trial"?

I suspect it has to do with me downloading CC for Photoshop and LR MANY months ago.
I did not uninstall CC.
How do I clean this up? I'm not switching to LR CC now. I bought perpetual upgrade from LR 5 to LR 6.

Which plan is best for Student upgrading from CS4?

I'm a student who has previously purchased CS4 design premium. I want to upgrade to Adobe CC but I'm not sure which plan will give more savings in the long term. The student plan is cheapest but only for the first year, after that the terms states it will revert back to the "then standard price"?. Thanks for your reply. I did not see the individual offer for Adobe CC also
reverts back to the standard price after one year (not stated clearly in
the terms).
In that case, the student version would be best for me. Can I just upgrade
from my current CS4 student version now? I've already downloaded the trial
for Photoshop and Illustrator. Or do I need to submit all my student docs
again to qualify?

This is not correct and you can get errors if you do it like that.
First you install the base software (10.2.0.1)
Then you install the patch set (10.2.0.2 or 10.2.0.4)
After this you install ALL required patches.
Finally, you do the upgrade.

Dependencies for an upgrade from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0

We have a Client situation - upgrade from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0 - they have SAP EP 6.2 and 4.7E backend system.
Now, the questions are -
1. Is it mandatory to upgrade to SAP EP 7.01 (Netweaver 2004s) or will SRM 7.0 work with SAP EP 6.2?
2. It appears SRM 7.0 will work with SAP 4.7E, however, will self-service procurement, sourcing cockpit functionality work okay and integrate with SAP 4.7E without any issues?
An early response is highly appreciated.

If you check the EP 6.2 is no longer supported by SRM 5 releases onwards
Based on this information, the SRM 7.0 should not work with EP 6.2
For your Second Question:
It seems to be no restrictions in use Backend 4.7E. You can define it in the SPRO as backend destination / sys type(BBP_BACKEND_DEST table SYS_TYPE = R/3_4.70)
As additional information please kindly refer to the SRM 7.0 Instalation Guides. It can be found in the Service Marketplace

Runinstaller for 10.2.0.4 patch set while upgrading from 10.2.0.1 fails

I have pretty peculiar situation. I have installed (silent) oracle database server EE 10.2.0.1 on my RHEL 5 machine. Before configuring the database, I wanted to patch it to 10.2.0.4. I am trying to patch the oracle home in silent mode it self as x manager/vnc etc tools are not made available. I issue the below command
./opt/orcl10g/Disk1/runInstaller -silent -invPtrLoc /opt/orcl10g/oraInventory/oraInst.loc -responseFile /opt/orcl10g/Disk1/response/10204_install.rsp
the installation proceeds some time, before pausing for ever. with out showing the completion screen. Neither any error message is given nor the prompt for executing root.sh. I am not able to find out whats happening if ever any action is in progress. I wait hours but no progress. However, when I query with OPATCH utility, I come across a scenarion where OPATCH is 10.2.0.4 but Oracle 10g home is STILL AT 10.2.0.1.
I look forward for your advice/recommendation. I am pasting the OPATCH output below. Further down, I am pasting the values I have edited in the response file of the patch set. nothing else is done.

We fixed it. The issue was the initial 10.2.0.1 S/W installation. The software we recieved and installed was not giving many of the binaries under $ORACLE_HOME/bin as a 0 byte files... When I tried to redo, I realized it. So had a fresh copy of the S/W from OTN download and then it went smothly.

check out the PKGBUILD for the kernel:
run "abs"
and then go to /var/abs and edit the PKGBUILD for kernel26 to see how a kernel is built in arch

What to look out for when upgrading from 10.4.5 to 10.4.6

I'm thinking about upgrading our server from 10.4.5 to 10.4.6 (I've delayed it because I remember hearing a few things were broken in the process on some setups). So, being the novice that I am, what should I look out for?

The best thing you can do is to take a full backup of your system and then apply the latest update.
Also, it is safer to apply the combo update.
If you do not hear problems in here, there are probably not any problems
