Hi,
I agree. However, I understand that the Patches search in My Oracle Support website mentions that the RUP patch is included in the next RUP patch available.
Please note that you need to consider also the patches in the following documents on top of RUP 5.
Note: 1075477.1 - Known Issues on Top of Patch 9062727 11i.HR_PF.K.DELTA.5 (11i HRMS RUP 5)
Note: 1096417.1 - Applied Patch 9062727 (11i.Hr_pf.K.Delta.5) And Left With FFP<######> Invalid Packages

  • Pictograms for Self-Service (MSS/ESS)

    Hi Carmen,
First Question: How upload this Pictograms in the t.code SE80?
Right click on Pictograms folder > Import MIME Objects
Take in count you're using by this way a standard folder.
    To use a custom folder, for ESS i suggest you ask for your Basis guy to generate another location in your server, then save your custom pictograms there. After that, create a resource that refers to the image, using 'Server for Resources' by this way;
    Define:
    1) a server for resources in SPRO > Personnel Mgmt > ESS > General Settings > Homepage for Self-Services > Resources > Define Server for Resources
    2) a resource in SPRO > Personnel Mgmt > ESS > General Settings > Homepage for Self-Services > Resources > Define Resources, that refers to a image and use the new server defined; use the URL of Resource Object field with relative reference (e.g. /new_portrait.gif), and complete the server field with the server created before (can be a local server)
    3) a resource that represents a page area, that use the resource as picture
For MSS you can do the same, by associating the customizing from the MSS area group page.
    Second Question:
For the Pictograms in the MSS , Where Are stored, How can upload this Pictograms?
In the same route that ESS, which depends on your installation folder; check with your Basis guy
For MSS, since ERP2005 versions, the pictogram is obtained from 'Pictogram...' property of Portal objects, but you can blank this property and use the ERP customizing to set your own custom images, handling as described in point 1.

    Hi Sergio.
We are using ECC 6.04, BP 1.41 for ESS and MSS.
I checked the property Workset Map Pictogram for the following Image:
    [Image |http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/fa5e7b7e0a.jpg]
And this have the property Workset Map Pictogram in blank for the Workset Team of the Image of Above.
    You says:
"You can blank this property and use the ERP customizing to set your own custom images, handling as described in point 1."
Configure Homepages and Area Pages => Areas=>Define Areas
    [Area|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/fbf291613f.jpg]
Where is related the Pictogram for the Workset Team of the Image of Above in the ERP Customizing?
Thank in advance for your help.
    Best Regards.
    ===============
    Hola Sergio.
Nosotros estamos usando ECC 6.04, BP 1.41 for ESS and MSS.
Yo verifique en el sistema la propiedad Workset Map Pictogram como se detalla en la siguiente Imagen:
    [Image |http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/fa5e7b7e0a.jpg]
Lo que veo es que la propiedad Workset Map Pictogram esta en Blanco para el Workset Team(Equipo) en el portal, sin embargo el pictograma es mostrado.
    Tu dices lo siguiente:
"You can blank this property and use the ERP customizing to set your own custom images, handling as described in point 1."
Yo entre en el SPRO a la siguiente ruta y busque las Paginas de Area y lo que encontre fue lo siguiente:
Configure Homepages and Area Pages => Areas=>Define Areas
    [Area|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/fbf291613f.jpg]
    Saludos Cordiales

  • ISE 1.2 SMS Notification for Self Service Guests

Is there a way to have guest account credentials created through using the Self Service feature sent via SMS text?  I have read where this can be setup via the sponsor portal, but I have not seen much about self service option
Also, is there an SMS gateway that can be setup easily for testing this funcionailty?  Thanks.

ISE 1.2 does not support sending credentials to Self Service Guests via SMS message.
This feature, sending credentials to Self Service Guests via SMS message and email, will be in version 1.3.  This release is tentatively scheduled for the end of July 2014.

  • Is multi-factor auth required for self-service password reset and portal registration?

Hi, hoping someone can give some clarity on this.  I'm dealing with strictly online accounts, no AD sync to local servers.  I have enabled and configured self-service password reset in AzureAD.  In that config I have required users to register
their alt contact info when logging into the portal.  While testing this, I don't get prompted to register unless I've enabled multi-factor auth for the test user account.  I need users to register in case they need to use SSPR, but I don't want
to force them into MFA.  I've gone over the following article and it says nothing about requiring MFA for SSPR or forced portal registration to work.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn683881.aspx
I know there is a separate link for the registration portal that will guide users through the process, but that's a separate link.  Maybe they'll set it up, maybe they won't.  I'd like for the first sign-on to be a smooth process that gets them
set up for SSPR if needed.  Can someone clarify and point me in the right direction? Thanks.

    Hey acook15,
I work on the password reset engineering team.  Right now, you are correct, you cannot enforce registration for password reset during first sign in.  This is a feature that we are working on right now, which will be available very soon for sign
ins to Azure, your connected apps, and the access panel, and will come a bit later for Office 365 sign ins, as well.
In the interim, you can configure SSPR to require users to register when they access the access panel at myapps.microsoft.com by following the instructions here: http://aka.ms/customizesspr (search for "Require users to register when signing in to the
    access panel?").
You can also read more about other ways to get SSPR data in the system for your users here: http://aka.ms/ssprbestpractices.  Let me know if this helps, and if you need to get in contact with me, feel free to email me at [email protected]

  • Architectural/design documentation required for Self Service Expenses application

I'm looking for architectural/design documentation on the Oracle Applications Self Service Expense Reporting application.
Specifically I'd like to know how it was designed & architected, what technologies were used to develop it (e.g. CABO, B24J, Oracle Workflow, AQ etc.) and how these technologies interact to form the final system.
We have a product called the Oracle Migration Workbench. It is a standalone java-based application that facilitates the migration of non-Oracle databases over to Oracle9i. We're investigating the possibility of developing a web-based migration capability. Of course we appreciate that moving from a tool-based, single user solution to a web based, multi user solution is not a trivial task.
Seeing that you guys would have already tackled many of the challenges we face I'd appreciate it if you can provide me with any pertinent information.
Any white papers/architectural collateral you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance
    - Garry

Hi Did you ever get this documentation? I would really appreciate some more info on this to [email protected]

  • Structure List for a Service Product ?

    Hi,
If I maintain a Bill of Material for a Service Product, is it possible to view its components in the 'Structure List' of the Service Order ?
Situation is: Each Service Product represent a "Level of Repair" and only specific components are associated with that Service Product though the Serviceable Material may have several components (BOM).
Or how else can I associate allowable components to Service Product ?
    Thanks.
    Raj

    Hello Janakiraman,
Generally for configuration , you cannot update the configuraton directly . There are no bapis in VC to do so. you have to update the configuration data via the Object itself. Service orders are objects with type PMSDO. There is unfortunately no bapi that will update configuration directly. I checked BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but that doesnot have any input data for configuration. Configuration is stored via unique number PMSDO-CUOBJ. You can then take this value and check the data in txn CUTABLEINFO. Instance = CUOBJ in CUTABLEINFO.  You will find the object key and number in this transaction .Eg
    INSTANCE           OBJECT-OBJECT_TYPE OBJECT-OBJECT_KEY
    000000000000203448 PMSDO              OR000004032826
To maintain the data , you can check to enhance this BAPI , Otherwise best way is to get the CUOBJ number and use VC function modules to update.
But you will neeed to create a Z program to do. You can find all the VC function as mentioned in the thread above.
    Thanks

  • Patch list for Yamaha DGX-505?

I need a patch list to paste into the Environment window so I can access the voices on my Yamaha DGX-505 keyboard (rather than the GM MIDI). I looked on the Yamaha website and could not find one; hopefully it exists.

yeah, i've got the jv1080 with latin, session and orchestral boards.
but the jv1080 is in the multi instrument, when you make new -> multi instrum, ent. just initialize the multi for jv1080. that should bring up the presets (4 banks) i think. if not give us your email address and i will post you my multi instrument. no problem.

  • Patch lists for MIDI instruments

I am looking to get LE8 as a sequencer for my keyboard equipment (mostly Roland stuff). Can anyone tell me if LE8 can load up the patch lists from these instruments and expansion boards ?? When I was using Cakewalk on a PC platform, you could get what they called instrument definitions that Cakewalk would use to define your avavilable patches. If I can do anything like this LE 8 may be the program for me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rick

"Example: In my RS 7000 Fat Bass 1 is MSB 063, LSB 007, PC 007. How do I enter that in Logic?"
That's the problem: you don't. Or I couldn't, not in the rational way you're (quite rationally) suggesting.
If you go to the Environment window and create an external multi-instrument and double-click its header (title) bar, you'll see a drop-down menu for Bank, and another for Bank Message. I had to experiment with the Bank Message possibilities, because the Roland manual says Bank Select is "controller 0, 32" and LE8 makes you choose between those two (or choose the method of some similar product, though the similar ones aren't very similar to each other!). Pick a plausible one, and then initialize a bunch of banks in the Bank menu and see what sounds your keyboard produces. Try to match those up, by ear, with the sound banks listed in the manual for your external synth. When you find a Bank Message/Bank pair that produces something recognizable, try other banks and see if they fall into line also. If not, try again with a different Bank Message choice.
Once you find a Bank Message that produces reasonable results with several Banks, then you start double-clicking patch names within each bank and typing in names. It's a really stupid process. If there's a better one, I couldn't find it.
On the good side, once you've got the banks of patches all set, the whole package is transferable from one project to another through the Import Environment menu item. Which means, by the way, that you might want to do all this in a new, blank project that contains nothing but your external multi-instrument environment item.
Good luck--meaning I hope you had better luck than I did. It took several hours. If you want a bright side: it sure familiarizes you with all the sounds in your synth.

  • Need patch list for my synths

    Hello everyone.
I need patch info for the following devices to use with Logic pro 8
    ROLAND FANTOM G8
    KORG TRITON PRO
    EMU PROTEUS 2500
    ROLAND JV880
    YAMAHA SY77
    can ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?
    God Bless

Thanks Fermusic! I had the same issue as the other person, and followed your instructions. You really know your stuff! (Btw, I listened to "The Game of Life", and it is a great song! Sounds to me to be very radio-worthy song for top-40 radio stations here in the USA.) I've gotten to the point where I have your ISO files in my environment, but they are not controlling my synth correctly. I have a Roland JV-1010 with the SR-JV80-02 Orchestral Expansion card (actually, I have two JV-1010's, and the other has the SR-JV80-16 Orchestral II Expansion card; my aim is to hook the 2nd JV-1010 to the first via the Midi Thru, but I'll worry about that later). Anyway, in the Environment I clicked all 16 boxes for the JV-1010 and all 16 boxes for the SR-JV80-02 Orchestral, as well as all 16 boxes for Session, which is included with the JV-1010. So, now when I create a track in my main arrange window, I can make it an external MIDI track, and access the menu in the Library tab that has all the instruments I imported into my Environment, which is good. When I select the JV-1010 option, it lists all 16 channels that I enabled, and same for the Orchestral and Session options. Once I select one of those, I go under the Inspector, and check the box next to Program, and then select the patch I want from the list of 1 through 127. However, when I do that, the sound I get when I play my MIDI keyboard does not correspond with the listed patch. Furthermore, the JV-1010 by itself (without the expansion card) has about seven sets of 1-127 (there's Preset A, B, C, D, and E). I don't know how to access all these different sets of 1-127. The Inspector only gives me the option to select from one set of 1-127, which I think is Preset-A. How do I access Presets B, C, D, and E? And likewise with the Session and Orchestral options, in actuality there's two sets of 1-127, but it only lists one set. How do I get to the other 127 patches? Also, your ISO list does not include the Orchestral II expansion- is that one available?
There's another similar, but different problem I'm having. I purchased Finale 2009, which comes with the Garritan Personal Orchestra sound library. I don't know how to access that sound library from within Logic. I Googled it the other day, and someone made mention of the Kontakt Player. Apparently, Finale/Garritan used to ship with the Kontakt Player, but they've replaced it with their own player, called Aria Player, and I can't bring up Aria Player from within Logic. I guess I will try to download a free version of Kontakt Player and maybe Logic will recognize it.
All these issues have in common the same problem: inter-usability of sound libraries, be they software sounds like Garritan Personal Orchestra or hardware sounds like the JV-1010. This is an extremely vexing and challenging issue! Btw, once I get Logic to recognize all of my sound libraries (software and hardware alike), I'm going to turn my attention to Finale, and try to get all of my Logic sound library as well as the JV-1010 working with it. Any advice there? Haha- sorry to overload you with questions, but you are apparently a well of knowledge!

  • How do I create custom patch lists for external synths?

Hello peeps, I'm a long-time Cubase user trying out Logic for the first time. This is driving me crazy. Just want to know how to make Logic show synth patches for a JP 8000, an MS 2000, MC 505, or any other external synth; so that I can see, in Logic, the patch I want a certain synth to switch to. I've tried in the environment to name a few, but I don't know where to input the MSB, LSB, Program change info. Its right there in the inspector window in Cubase. How do I do this in Logic? I'm stumped.
