Hi,
When i am applying one minipack(11i.HZ.N 3618299 ) i got below error messages , please some one guide me whats that mean...can i ignore these messages.?Did the patch stop running or not? If the patch completed successfully and you can query AD_BUGS table and find the patch (search for 3618299), then you can safely ignore this error.

  • Portmap translation creation failed for udp src inside dst inside

    Hi!
I have a problem with allowing traffic to UC500 subnets on ASA 5505 inside interface.
My asa is a main router with addres 192.168.1.1
UC500 voip box is connected to ASA's inside interface through UC500 WAN port with UC500 with 192.168.1.2 address.
Firewall and NAT on UC500 is disable
UC500 sip traffic works fine. voipbox creates its subnets for data and voip - 192.168.10.0 and 10.1.1.0. another important address is 10.1.10.1 which is UC500 CUE.
My problem is that from within ASA local network (192.168.1.0) i cannot reach UC500 subnets, neither can I reach ASA's local network from the UC subnets.
    the log says

portmap translation creation failed for udp src inside:DC/53 dst inside:PBXCUE/32901
I tried exempting uc500 subnets on ASA but that didn;t work.
Funny thing is that I CAN reach the UC500 subnets when connecting with VPN to ASA...
Please help! I am not familiar with CLI.
I configured static route to 10.1.10.0 and since then I was able to ping 10.1.10.1 thorugh ASA;s VPN.
I would be grateful for ideas.

    Hello Julio!
    Thank you for your advice.
I have managed to solve my main problem by reconfiguring my switches vlans - enabling trunk port configs for required ports and allowing them access to both vlans.
Now I can see everything from all of my inside networks.
I continue my ASA adventures - I have managed to configure L2TP client access for my windows users, RADIUS authentication for domain users and yesterday night I have managed to configure site to site VPN with my RV120W router.
I am only an enthusiast but my recent successes have given me apetite for more...
I keep reading forums and trying to solve most of my problems myself but I have faced another one now and thought that maybe you could give me another tip on where to look for the issue:
I still have one problem with my L2TP VPN config - I have configured split tunnel on the group policy to tunnel only 192.168.1.0 network requests.
    access-list DefaultRAGroup_splitTunnelAcl standard permit 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
My network at home is 192.168.2.0 but it still tunnels everything (when I check my ip after connecting to VPN my home laptop still identifies with ASA gateway(!) address .

  • VPN problem behind ASA5505 -regular translation creation failed for protocol 50

    Dear All,
I have to connect behind my ASA5505 with an VPN klient to an other site.
First time i got this failure.
    "Deny protocol 50 src inside:192.168.50.X dst  outside:x.x.x.x by access-group "acl_in" [0x0, 0x0]"
Than I opened our inside (src 192.168.50.0) network  the UDP 500,4500 TCP 500,4500,10000 and ESP (dest x.x.x.x remote firewall ip).
access-list acl_in extended permit esp host 192.168.50.0  host x.x.x.x eq isakmp
    access-list acl_in extended permit udp host 192.168.50.0  host x.x.x.x eq 500
    access-list acl_in extended permit eudp host 192.168.50.0  host x.x.x.x eq 4500
    etc.
After that i could connect for the remote firewall with vpn client but i couldn't reach any PC1s on there side and ping gives back no anwser.
Deny protocol 50 was solved but i got an other problem:
"regular translation creation failed for protocol 50 src  inside:192.168.50.X dst outside:x.x.x.x"
I found somewhere thet lines can help:
    crypto isakmp nat-traversal
    inspect ipsec-pass-thru
    But this wasn't usefull.
I tried a many thing but i'm stuck.
Could somebody help me what can i do to solve this problem?
    Thanks for all anwsers!

The solution was the following for one IP!
    object network x.x.x.x                      (inside IP)
       host x.x.x.x                                  (inside IP)
nat (inside, outside) static y.y.y.y     (remote IP)

The StarOffice patches are most likely being recommended as there are one or more SUNWstaroffice packages installed on the system, but the patch installation cannot complete due to an incomplete installation of StarOffice. Check for any installed StarOffice packages and remove them if present:

    sqlplus -s APPS/***** @/u03/oracle/CRP1PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/fnd/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/afopp002.sql &un_fnd &pw_fnd
    Connected.
    declare
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-20000: Oracle Error Mkr1= -24018 - ORA-24018: STOP_QUEUE on
    APPLSYS.FND_CP_GSM_OPP_AQ failed, outstanding transactions found
    ORA-06512: at line 15
I even tried restarting the worker, bounced the database and even tried running u03/oracle/CRP1PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/fnd/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/afopp002.sql manually which hangs for indefinitely.
    Any suggestion.

    Hi Srini,
Let me walk you through briefly regarding the upgrade process:
Initially the existing instance was 11.5.10.2 with 9.2.0.6 database.Last year the database was upgraded to 11.2.0.1 and configured with 11.5.10.2
However the 11g database upgrade steps specifically for EBS 11i(interoperatibility notes for 11i with 11g database) was not followed properly.
And one of the major key issue identified was the 11g Example CD was not installed on top of 11g software during database upgrade.Which is the pre-req for 11g upgrade in EBS
And as per my experience it creates issues during R12 upgrade (patch u6678700) and giving errors pertaining to oracle text error.
SR was raised for the same and was suggested, since there is no other option kindly install the Oracle 11g software and on top of that 11g Example CD and map the 11g database and go ahead with the R12 upgrade.
Now coming back to the core issue being faced, Pre-req followed properly. No errors in alert logs.
Can missing the Example CD installtion be the issue?

    Aman Vats

  • Recommended patch 125541-02 fails to install

Patch 125541-02 fails to install. When it is running patchadd perhaps, it complains that the dependency package SUNWthunderbird is not present. I am not inclined to search and add support for it unless it is necessary. I tried it five different hosts running Solaris 10. The results are the same.

I had exactly the same results on a Sun Blade running Sol 10 11/06. The patch will not install using update manager, or with smpatch add -i, or from the manually downloaded patch using patchadd.
The following requested patches have packages not installed on the system
Package SUNWthunderbird from directory SUNWthunderbird in patch 125541-02 is not installed on the system. Changes for package SUNWthunderbird will not be applied to the system.

Bro. the patch has been applied with no other errors. Do I apply it again?
    Regards
    Aneel Ahmed
If the patch was applied and you can find it in AD_BUGS table, then no further action is required after implementing the solution in the docs referenced by AsifMuhammad
If the patch doesn't exist in AD_BUGS table then you need to apply it again.

  • Patch 124171-01 fails to install

Patch 124171-01 fails to install on an Ultra-80 and a V210 models. I installed it manually to get the message that the "SUNWscnbase-r" package is not installed so the patch is aborted.
The Ultra-80 runs Solaris 10 release 03/2005. The V210 runs Solaris 10 01/2006. I typically load everything in the installs so this patch should not have been recommended to them.

root hypert /var/sadm/spool # smpatch analyze

  • 9.2.0.3 patch set installation fails on Solaris 8

i've installed Oracle9iR2 (64-bit) client on a Solaris 8 system and i'm now having problems installing the 9.2.0.3 patch set. during the installation process i get the following error message from OUI:
Error in invoking target install of makefile
    $ORACLE_HOME/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk
i checked the installation log and then $ORACLE_HOME/install/make.log. make.log reports that the failing command is:
    /usr/ccs/bin/make -f ins_net_client.mk install ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle9i/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0
this command fails when trying to link trcroute. the link command seems to have incorrect paths as it seems to expect to find crt?.o files from $ORACLE_HOME/lib/WS6U1 while they are located in $ORACLE_HOME/lib/WS6U2/lib/v9. i modified $ORACLE_HOME/network/lib/env_network.mk (CCVER, COMPOBJ) so that crt?.o can be found.
after this change the same link command fails with this message:
    ld: fatal: file $ORACLE_HOME/network/lib/s0nur.o:
    wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to trcroute
    *** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `trcroute'
i checked the object files in network/lib and they all seem to be ELF 32-bit.
does someone know what's causing these problems with the installation and how to fix it?
    best regards,
    aspa

that's what i started to suspect as well. it's quite likely that the patch is for 32-bit installations. i'll try it with the 64-bit patch. thanks.

  • JSP fails silently: Logs reveal "exception occurred in JNI_OnLoad"

I'm running Apache Tomcat/4.1.10 with JVM 1.4.0_02. This is all running on Solaris 2.6 under a chrooted environment and seems to work quite well when I run test apps and such.
    Here's my problem:
I installed Jive 2.6.1 Enterprise and attempted to run the initial setup tool by pointing my browser to /admin/setup/index.jsp. The JSP output starts loading into my browser, but then stops abruptly. The setup tool never finishes.
Logs record a stack trace after this first failed attempt. Subsequent attempts to run the JSP record a different stack trace. They're listed below in order.
I'm banging my head against a wall trying to debug this. Installing a previous version of Tomcat didn't change anything. Google searches have not been forthcoming, except that most JNI_OnLoad errors seem to happen on Solaris. I've copied countless megs worth of *.so files into my chrooted environment. Any insight into this would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Greg

    Update:
Running Tomcat from a non-chrooted environment gives correct behavior. Evidentally my Jive installation is fine, my Tomcat is fine, and my JVM is fine.
The problem must be related to the chroot, where the JVM is trying to load some native library that doesn't exist in chroot world.
My question is simply, how do I figure out which one? Can anybody point me in the right direction?
    Thanks a bunch,
    Greg
