Path to EPS inbox is wrong

The path to our EPS inbox shows as the one below which is wrong.
lon-web-9\sapmnt\trans\EPS\in
DIR_TRANS is set correctly in the parameters and all other paths are looking ok. I can't find anywhere to change this.
Can anyone help?

  • JSPM uses incorrect EPS inbox directory

    Hello,
    I have a problem with implementing support packages using JSPM.
    JSPM reads the inbox of the local server instead of the global EPS inbox.
    I have defined the hostname alias in the hosts file. When I check in RZ10 the DIR_EPS_ROOT points to the global EPS inbox. And when I use transaction SPAM to import the ABAP stack, it reads the correct EPS inbox.
    But when I use JSPM it keeps pointing to the local server instead of the global EPS inbox defined in DIR_EPS_ROOT.
    Can someone help me with this?
    We are using NW04S ABAP+Java running on a WIN 2003 Enterprise server.
    Kind regards,
    Henk

    Hi
    These are two different things:
    What you are gettin in spam is perfectly ok.
    Now in case of JSPM ,it always points to local EPS directory,you cannot use JSPM to deploy components remotely.So nothing is work with it.
    You can use SPAM tp patch your abap part and JSPM to patch the java part by putting the sca's in the local EPS directory that is \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in.
    In case you have any other querries revert back.

  • Opening Illustrator 8 eps is giving wrong results

    I have an eps (in Illustrator 8 format) where I manually changed the encoding to include east-european characters.
    When I open this eps in the latest Illustrator version, I don't see those characters.
    The attempts I made are:

    and further down: (128 80 \277) Tx
    I tried to replace the Agrave with Lslash, but Illustrator seems to ignore that part when opening the eps, and still displays a À
    Also tried with the TZ block to reencode the font:
    %AI3_BeginEncoding: _Helvetica-Condensed-Bold Helvetica-Condensed-Bold
    [ 191/Lslash /_Helvetica-Condensed-Bold/Helvetica-Condensed-Bold 0 0 1 TZ
    %AI3_EndEncoding AdobeType
    and further down: (128 80 \277) Tx
    That change is also ignored by Illustrator.
    The character is properly displayed when I open the eps and typing/pasting it in Illustrator, so I know the font supports it.
    Am I doing something wrong here?
    An alternate route could be to use the Illustrator SDK as platform for writing eps files, as I assume that the SDK properly supports unicode characters.
    Did some research on that, but found that the SDK is only to make Illustrator plugins, and not supporting standalone applications, so, for automated eps generating it's not suitable.
    Background:
    I've created software which generates eps files with cartographic maps in them for publishing, printing or other purposes.
    Recently, we got a new customer originating in eastern europe which wants their special, non-isolatin characters printed correcly.
    Hope someone can give me any advice on how to proceed...
    Greetings,
    Paul

    I just realized that order by case x.rest rest isn't giving me 's','m','t','w','th','f','sh'
    substring(Rest, 1, charindex('~', Rest+'~') - 1) is giving me 's','m','t','w','th','f','sh'
    so I switched the order by to be
    ORDER BY CASE substring(Rest, 1, charindex('~', Rest+'~') - 1) WHEN 'S' THEN 1 WHEN 'M' THEN 2 WHEN 'T' THEN 3 WHEN 'W' THEN 4
    WHEN 'TH' THEN 5 WHEN 'F' THEN 6 WHEN 'SH' THEN 7 ELSE 8 END, x.FirstWord
    That got the desired results.

  • Detecting clipping path in EPS file

    Hi All,
    I have problem with detecting clipping path settings in EPS.
    It's easy to find all cliping paths in file, they are listed in clippingPath.photoshopPathNames
    but when EPS is saved with clipping path selected, this path is always applied and clippingPath.clippingType is ClippingPathType.none
    I can't find any property which can be usefull to detect.
    Thanks!
    Piotr

    Hallo Piotr,
    Perhaps the following approach can help.
    The script places the eps (inside the selected frame) twice in a new layer: the first time with property epsImportPreferences.epsFrames = false and then with true. Afterwards the dimensions were compared and the layer deleted.
    Please note that it will only work if the paths are smaller than the image dimensions.
    #target InDesign
    var _eps = app.selection[0].epss[0];
    var _uerEPSFrames = app.epsImportPreferences.epsFrames;
    var _tempLayer = app.activeDocument.layers.add();
    try {
      if(_eps instanceof EPS && _eps.clippingPath.photoshopPathNames.length>0) {
        if(_eps.clippingPath.clippingType == ClippingPathType.NONE) {
          var _savedClippingPath = __savedWithClippingPath(_eps,_tempLayer);
          if(_savedClippingPath[0]) {
            alert("Clipping path applied in Photoshop" + "\r\r" + "Path name: " + _savedClippingPath[1]);
          } else {
            alert("EPS without applied clipping path (Photoshop and InDesign)");
        } else if (_eps.clippingPath.clippingType == ClippingPathType.PHOTOSHOP_PATH) {
          alert("Clipping path applied in InDesign" + "\r\r" + "Path name: " + _eps.clippingPath.appliedPathName);
    } catch(e) {
      alert(e);
    app.epsImportPreferences.epsFrames = _uerEPSFrames;
    _tempLayer.remove();
    function __savedWithClippingPath(_curEPS,_tempLayer) {
      app.epsImportPreferences.epsFrames = false;
      var _tempEPS_1 = __placeFile (_curEPS,_tempLayer);
      app.epsImportPreferences.epsFrames = true;
      var _tempEPS_2 = __placeFile (_curEPS,_tempLayer);
      if(_tempEPS_1.geometricBounds[2] == _tempEPS_2.geometricBounds[2] && _tempEPS_1.geometricBounds[3] == _tempEPS_2.geometricBounds[3]) {
        return [false,""];
      } else {
        _tempEPS_1.clippingPath.clippingType = ClippingPathType.PHOTOSHOP_PATH;
        return [true,_tempEPS_1.clippingPath.appliedPathName];
    function __placeFile (_file,_layer) {
      var _filePath = _file.itemLink.filePath;
      var _fileToPlace = File(_filePath);
      return app.activeDocument.pages[0].place(_fileToPlace,[0,0],_layer,false)[0];
    A little roundabout, i know, but i think you can not obtain the value in a direct way. But maybe someone else knows a better way.

  • Access Paths in .eps

    Hi, a few days ago I was able to access the paths of an .eps file opened in Illustrator. Now that I need to use it again I can't find back how I did this. It was not group, ungroup is grayed out ...
    Hint very appreciated.
    Thx,
    Frank

    Yea ! That worked. I actually just figured that when I go file/open and read an .eps file, it also reveals the paths. That's wh I was able to access them the last time. This time I just had dragged them into an artboard, which then is this other reading mode that needs embedding ... in case stuff was linked I guess.
    Thx Monika,

  • Inbox w/ wrong name on email

    My inbox receives mail under another person's name with my email address.  For example, "Not My Name <[email protected]>" Any tips on why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Hello msjen781,
    Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
    You definitely may run into trouble taking advantage of points you have earned if a different name appears when your My Best Buy account is pulled up, which would no doubt be frustrating.  I should have no problem updating the information tied to your account if I can confirm that the name did in-fact change at some point.  After using the email address you registered with the forum to review your information, it looks like a merge performed a couple years ago might be the source of the problem.
    With that having been said, I am going to need to gather some additional information from you before I can do anything else, so I will be sending you a private message to gather the information that I need.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.  I look forward to further speaking with you and seeing if I can help finally put an end to the issue at hand for you.
    Thank you for taking the time to connect with us and for being a My Best Buy member.

  • JSPM Inbox path change

    Hi ,
       Need to change the JSPM inbox path location /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in to another directory so the .SCA files can be taken from the new place.
    1)Where can we change it
    Is it possible to call JSPM from command prompt with new location
    >go (/new location)
    so the JSPM will take the files from new loaction rather than /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
    2) then again how can we change back to original location /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
    Would appreciate valuable inputs
    Thanks a ton

    Hi Daniel,
    JSPM detects the location of the global EPS inbox directory by reading the value of the central instance profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT. The location of the global EPS inbox directory is the in subdirectory of this location. On most systems, the default value of the parameter is /usr/sap/trans/EPS and the location of the global EPS inbox directory is /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in.
    It is recommended that you do not change the value of the central instance profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT unless you are advised to do so by SAP support. Otherwise, your system may stop working because many SAP NetWeaver components are using it.
    However, in your case since you want to use it temporarily, you can give the command line option while starting JSPM as follows:
    go u2018-config=/jspm/inbox=<path_to_inbox>u2019
    Here path to inbox is the new directory that you were talking about.
    So, this is the temporary solution that you are looking for.

  • Emails from camera roll saved to wrong folder -- IMAP Path Prefix Problem

    I think there's a problem with the behaviour of the way picture emails are saved when you have an IMAP Path Prefix.
    I have an IMAP Path Prefix of "INBOX"... i.e. my sent folder is Inbox/Sent. Any plaintext emails I send from the email application from the iPhone are correctly saved to that folder and I can see them in that folder immediately via the iPhone's interface.
    When I navigate to the camera roll or photo album and send a picture email to somebody, and use the iPhone to go view the sent folder, they never appear in the sent folder. For a while I thought they weren't being saved at all, but I just discovered from my home PC that the camera roll app is indeed saving them somewhere: in Inbox/Inbox/Sent.
    That's right--I now have a new Inbox folder inside my Inbox folder, with just a Drafts and Sent folder. Drafts is Empty, Sent has all the picture emails I've ever sent with the iPhone.
    Bug? I think so... Emails emanating from the camera app are taking the IMAP Path Prefix twice instead of once, and then creating that Path Prefix folder if it doesn't already exist.
    Anybody else with an IMAP Path Prefix experiencing this with picture emails from the camera roll?
    Thanks,
    Andi
      Windows XP Pro

    Ahhh interesting to find someone else with the same problem! It definitely happens when you send a photo message. My mac mail it shows my Inbox with a new nested sent items folder. I am using fusemail and the iPhone seriously messes with the folder structure. All sent items folders vanished for some reason on the mail server (but not in mac mail oddly) and I had to call technical support to make them reappear. I think this happened when I altered the Settings, Mail, Advanced settings, Mail box behaviour folders after having this problem with sent photo messages.
    Now fusemail's webserver shows TWO Inboxes, one nested inside the other, and a "Sent Items" folder within the "new" inboxes.
    Totally strange. I think there is a bug or two in the iPhone's IMAP software. Hoping for a bug fix soon, but until then perhaps a good work around might be to set the iPhone to store sent messages locally?

  • Wrong java.library.path in Netbeans?

    Anybody know this? Thank you!

    I've had a similar problem (or the same). At last my mistake was give "bad" names to my libraries.
    Note the importance of the java line:

    when compiling your .c program it will be:

  • Inbox time received wrong

    The time in the date received column of my inbox is wrong. For example, if I get an email time stamped 9:59 am, the time in this column is 2:59 pm. I have checked my system time zone, it is EST.
    Help?

    I have the same issue for ages. I've ignored it but would like to get it straight.
    I am using Mail.app Version 2.0.7 (746.2/749.3) and have a very curious issue of displaying times on emails being received.
    For instance I have just sent myself an email from imap/smtp to my .mac account.
    My sent folder tells me that it was sent on 13:34 but my bcc copy into my inbox at the imap account received time is at 15:52 although it arrived pretty well instantly.
    dot mac tells me that it was received at 05:40am today
    my mail.app dot mac folder tells me it was received at 13:40 today
    I am using a G4 powerbook 1.67 with 2GB DDR2 SDRAM on Mac OS X 10.4.6. (although this problem has existed on previous version of OSX 10.4.
    My settings indicate that the time on the Powerbook is set so that the time when sent 13.:34 is the time on my powerbook and the timezone is British Summer Time.
    The imap server and its webmail clients all display the time correctly (to BST) as set up.

  • [JS] Exporting InDesign group as eps

    Although all types of page items have an exportFile method in the object model, it does not seem to be possible to export a group of page items on a given page without exporting the entire
    parent page using the exportFile method. Maybe this is a matter of implementation lagging behind documentation? In any case, I have used workarounds such as the following, but is there is a less clunky way to accomplish this task?
    //Initial selection is either a group of page items or a single page item.
    var d = app.documents[0];
    var hUnits = d.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits;
    var vUnits = d.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits;
    aGroup = app.selection[0];
    path = app.documents[0].fullName.absoluteURI;
    path = path.substring( 0, path.lastIndexOf('/') );
    bnds = aGroup.geometricBounds;
    var nd = app.documents.add(false);
    with ( nd.masterSpreads[0].pages[0].marginPreferences ) {
      top = bottom = left = right = 0;
    with ( nd.viewPreferences ) {
      horizontalMeasurementUnits = hUnits;
      verticalMeasurementUnits = vUnits;
    with ( nd.documentPreferences ) {
      pageHeight = bnds[2] - bnds[0];
      pageWidth = bnds[3] - bnds[1];
    var copiedGroup = aGroup.duplicate( nd.layers[0] );
    copiedGroup.move( [0,0] );
    copiedGroup.exportFile( ExportFormat.EPS_TYPE, File( path + '/' + 'TEST.eps' ), false );
    nd.close(SaveOptions.NO);

    Hello Uwe,
    Thanks for the advice! I took your suggestion, and I find it worked nicely, after I adjusted pasteboardMargin preferences in the new document, but it does fail when there are multiple eps images already placed on the target page for reasons that are not clear to me. Below are the two different methods I came up with, the first copies the targeted group to a new doc, and the second uses your double eps export method. The problem I describe occurs even when I comment out the lines that remove the temporary eps file and close the temporary InDesign doc after exporting the final eps, which I thought might be causing the problem. Maybe there's not a perfect workaround, but I'd be pleased to be proven wrong in that regard!
    Copy group selected for eps export to new document method:
    var d, hUnits, vUnits, aGroup, path, bnds, nd, copiedGroup, fileName, docPreset;
    if ( app.documents.count() != 1 || app.documents[0].saved != true || app.documents[0].selection.length != 1 ) { alert("A single, saved document must be open with a single item selected!\r"); exit(); }
    aGroup = app.selection[0];
    d = app.documents[0];
    hUnits = d.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits;
    vUnits = d.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits;
    path = app.documents[0].fullName.absoluteURI;
    path = path.substring( 0, path.lastIndexOf('/') );
    bnds = aGroup.visibleBounds;
    fileName = prompt( "Enter a file name with a '.eps' extension for the eps file to be created from the  current selection:", ".eps" );
    if ( fileName == null  ) exit();
    if ( fileName.toLowerCase().search(/\.eps$/) < 1 ) {
      alert( "Invalid file name provided. Script will terminate!" ); exit();
    docPreset = app.documentPresets.add({top:0, bottom:0, left:0, right:0});
    app.scriptPreferences.enableRedraw = false;
    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT;
    nd = app.documents.add(true, docPreset );
    with ( nd.viewPreferences ) {
      horizontalMeasurementUnits = hUnits;
      verticalMeasurementUnits = vUnits;
    with ( nd.documentPreferences ) {
      pageHeight = bnds[2] - bnds[0];
      pageWidth = bnds[3] - bnds[1];
    copiedGroup = aGroup.duplicate( nd.layers[0] );
    copiedGroup.move( [0,0] );
    copiedGroup.exportFile( ExportFormat.EPS_TYPE, File( path + '/' + fileName ), false );
    nd.close(SaveOptions.NO);
    docPreset.remove();
    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.INTERACT_WITH_ALL;
    app.scriptPreferences.enableRedraw = true;
    Double eps export method:
    var d, pg, hUnits, vUnits, aGroup, path, bnds, pgbnds, nd, fileName, tempFileName, docPreset;
    if ( app.documents.count() < 1 || app.documents[0].saved != true || app.documents[0].selection.length != 1 ) { alert("A saved document must be open with a single group or a single page item selected!\r"); exit(); }
    aGroup = app.selection[0];
    d = app.documents[0];
    pg = aGroup.parentPage;
    pgbnds = pg.bounds;
    hUnits = d.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits;
    vUnits = d.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits;
    path = app.documents[0].fullName.absoluteURI;
    path = path.substring( 0, path.lastIndexOf('/') );
    bnds = aGroup.visibleBounds;
    fileName = prompt( "Enter a file name with a '.eps' extension for the eps file to be created from the  current selection:", ".eps" );
    if ( fileName == null  ) exit();
    if ( fileName.toLowerCase().search(/\.eps$/) < 1 ) {
      alert( "Invalid file name provided. Script will terminate!" ); exit();
    tempFileName = Math.random().toString() + '.eps';
    app.epsExportPreferences.pageRange = pg.name;
    d.exportFile( ExportFormat.EPS_TYPE, File( path + '/' + tempFileName ), false );
    app.epsExportPreferences.pageRange = PageRange.ALL_PAGES;
    docPreset = app.documentPresets.add({top:0, bottom:0, left:0, right:0});
    app.scriptPreferences.enableRedraw = false;
    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT;
    nd = app.documents.add(true, docPreset );
    nd.pasteboardPreferences.pasteboardMargins = [ (pgbnds[3] - pgbnds[1])*2, (pgbnds[3] - pgbnds[1])*2 ];
    with ( nd.viewPreferences ) {
      horizontalMeasurementUnits = hUnits;
      verticalMeasurementUnits = vUnits;
    with ( nd.documentPreferences ) {
      pageHeight = bnds[2] - bnds[0];

  • IOS7: IMAP path prefix is not saved

    After updating to iOS7, at first I could still see all the folders on the IMAP server (Sent, Trash, etc. which are all on the level below Inbox, e.g. Inbox/Sent Items, Inbox/Deleted Items -> therefore the IMAP path prefix is "Inbox" - without quotes of course), but then at some point they randomly disappeared. So I checked the IMAP path prefix, which was set to "Inbox" (which worked just fine on iOS6, as it should because of the folder hierarchy on the IMAP server). I tried deleting the Mail account from the iPhone, rebooting, then creating the Mail account again. I tried INBOX, inbox and Inbox/ for the prefix. I noticed that the settings frequently delete the IMAP path prefix (I would type it in, save the Mail settings, check if the prefix was still there and it was gone).
    This is the really the first time the IMAP settings on the iPhone are giving me so much trouble and I have no idea what else I could do. The exact same Mail account with the exact same settings worked perfectly with iOS6. Any advice is much appreciated.

    Also, the iMAP Path Prefix is entered, but is grayed out, so I get the error message, as above, that the window "cannot be empty."  Very frustrating.

    Hii all,

    how to define the file path so it can be properly used even when application is deployed on server.

    I guess the path you are using is wrong. It works on your mashiene as the src path is available. When you run the app on a server (jspx file) there is no src path as long as you don't include it in your WAR wich you should not do anyway.
    If you need to access such data you can create a folder in your webroot folder and the the resources from there as /xml_folder_name or if the xml files shouldn't be visible from the outside put the folder under hte web-inf folder.
