To help you understand, The default burning format by Windows will be a data disc which most of the CD/DVD players will not read. Would recommend you to use any third part disc burner software like Nero, Roxio Etc.. which provides you the option to burn the disc for specific types like data disc, Video disc, MP3 discs

Google 'Perian' and 'Flip4Mac' — these are the extensions that will make QT play other file formats.
However, a simpler solution is just to abandon QT in favour of the free, open-source player VLC, which plays just about everything natively without further downloads.

Front Row for Lion works with Movies, Photos, but not with Music!

what do i do wrong? i installed front row and everything works fine, just no music. i always get the message...
FRONT ROW CANNOT FIND ANY SONGS!
so at first i thought there is something wrong with this app, but then i realized, movies and photos are working perfectly!
maybe someone has a simple solution for that problem?

HT1766 My iPhone had a defect and was replaced but now I don't have any of my music. My apps downloaded for free but not my music. It was never backed up on computer because I don't have one. How do I get my music without having to pay again?

iTunes Store app > More... > Purchased > Music > Not on This iPhone > download from here.

HT1386 Is it possible to control what parts of my Itunes library sync to my IPad? I want to sync my photo library but not my music for example?

IPad allows me to access my music and movies via wifi directly.... it doesn't allow me access to my picture library (the one I can access via my apple TV... so it looks like if I want to see my picture library on my IPad I have to actually sync it up.... the IPad has enough memory as long as I don't clog the memory with my music (which I DON'T need on the IPad).
But... I can't seem to find a way to control what syncs and what doesn't .... do I as a user actually have any control?

Start iTunes on the computer you usually sync with. Connect your iPad and select the iPad in the left column of iTunes on your computer. In the right column select Music. Make the selection to sync only selected albums and tunes and then select those you want on the iPad. Then click on Apply and Sync.
To remove any. USC syned this way go through this process again but deselect those items you want removed. Then click on Apply and Sync.

Purchased Homesharing; Homesharing is working on all three Apple devises except for Apple TV. Apple TV is showing photos, but not music. My computer is "authorized" but it is not showing up on my Apple TV. Request advise.

Signal strength on device won't account for issues, you would need a network report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. This will show accurate signal strength along with noise and nearby networks

How to set up auto bluetooth for phone but not audio

I would like to set up my car bluetooth to work with the phone, but not with music/misc. audio. My car (2012 Scion) allows this, and I used to do it with my Android phone. But I cannot figure out how to make it work with my new iPhone 6. If I disconnect the music connection from the car, it disconnects the phone too. My Android had its own setting to choose one or the other or both.
How can I do this on iPhone? It is a pain to have music start playing when I don't want it to -- when bluetooth connects.

It seems that this is yet another of the neanderthal things that iOS can't do but Android has done forever.

I have troubles to install the suite i've just purchased.
Dowloading is allright (I tried the two different ways : http & dwl manager).
Extraction allright too.
But when I run the .exe file, it stops and say maybe I miss a file, reboot, close all application, etc...
I did this several times (firewall & Avast closed), always the same response.
Where Am I wrong ?

"Access Denied" DVD DL Encores CS4 in Win7 64b

blem but I just transfered to an internal SATA and re-created the project and I am still getting this error.
I would prefer to not have to use yet another program to create my DL DVD as Encore is supposed to be able to support this.

PDf creation with Acrobat 10 freezes my Win7-64b system

Acrobat 10.1.3 reliably freezes (every day or so) my fully-patched Win7-64b system when creating pdf from MS Office 2003 or Word Perfect X5. Acrobat can be killed from TaskBar (often - be patient for the response) or via Task Manager (usually); sometimes it takes a hard reset. That's how I ended up here. I just upgraded an accounting firm with new computers, i7, 8 GB, Windows 7 64 Ultimate, Office 2010 Small Business, and Acrobat 10 Standard. More than once a day, when they go to print, Acrobat hangs. I have laptops there and elsewhere with i7, 8 GB, Windows 7 Professional 64b, Office 2010 Small Business, running Acrobat 9 Standard, and it has no problem. Their previous machines with Core 2 duos, 1 GB, XP Pro, Office 2003 Small Business, and Acrobat 9 Standard, and had no problems. The desktops and laptops are using different Anti-Virus programs. That pretty much draws the circle around Acrobat 10 as being the source of the problem, on not something system or user specific.

On the same iMac wifi can be connected in Win7 but not OSX Maverick

I'm encountering a problem of connecting to wifi on my new iMac. I'm wondering whether anyone in the community has also encountered the same problem.
My iMac is a late 2013 model with 21.7" display bought just 2 weeks again. The OSX installed is Maverick with the latest update. I have also installed Win7 using Bootcamp.
At the beginning, the wifi connection was OK both in OSX and Win7. However, just around 1 week ago, the network connection began to fail in OSX. When logging into the Win7, I can still connect to my router through the wifi and everything is OK. This at least can proves that the wireless adapter in the iMac itself doesn't malfunction and the router works fine. Also all the other devices in my home connects to the same router through wifi has no problem including 2 iPhone5, 1 iPhone4S, 1 iPhone4 and a MBA 2012 model.
However, whenever I switched to the OSX any try to connect to the wifi ends in a failure. The SSID of the network is displayed in the visible network list still but not connectable. By clicking the name and after a while for the iMac to try to connect, a message saying "network cannot be joined" will pop up. Even by running the network diagnosis and specifying a static ip address for the iMac won't help. And I have also tried out some tricks in the community but all seemed not work.
Really appreciate if someone can suggest and help.

IPod Nano 8G - Win7 - Device driver software wat not successfully installed

Just got my first Apple iPod Nano 8G (4th) and has installed iTune 9.0.2 (64bit) on my Win 7 Ultimate x64. But I am not able to connect iPod nor Sync with iTune successfully even after reinstall/reboot many times with the same problem.
After the installation of iTune accomplished, I plug USB adapter into PC, then Win7 detected and started to install the driver for the hardware, but got "Device driver software wat not successfully installed" as a result.
Then I went to Device Manager tring to install the driver manually for "Apple iPod USB Driver", but finally I failed again and got "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device....", I think this is the software problem, please kindly advise, thanks a lot!

First, my officejet 4500 all-in-one installed and is working perfectly with wireless; however, I have for months still/have been getting the error/uninstall window continuously, telling me install was not successful, but again, printer, scanner, etc., working fine! But this "the installation was not successful" window is ALWAYS up or if I ctrl-alt-del and get it to end now, it comes back up; I have even let it do its thing, finish, restart, but it ALWAYS comes back up, trying to find a solution, etc. BUT MY PRINTER IS WORKING FINE! Please help me get rid of this; also, the file that it puts on desktop to troubleshoot, etc then delete afterward, I have deleted it, but this "unsuccessful" keeps trying to uninstall, reinstall; and as I said, actually went through all the steps to get it gone (printer working fine) but it will not go away! TS1538 iPod Touch 5g reognized by Win7 but not latest iTunes despite trying all recomendations on support site

What I don't understand is when I first purchased and connected there was no problem, only after a reset (because I thought I was going to sell the device) did I have this problem. AND the iPod Touch asks if I trust this computer to which I say yes, but still not seen in iTunes. REallly stumped on this. In the past I had hooked it up to another computer running xp and iTunes worked , but not with WIN 7. When I connected to a friends Mac Book, iTunes sees the ipod Touch, which rules out the problem being with the iPod Touch or the cable. So I'm wondering what the work around is for iTunes running on Win7

Ok, hope what I just found out will help others.... Had gone into Windows Device Manager, updated the device driver and suddenly iTunes recognized the iPod

Under v33, 2 Win 8.1 PCs sync well; a WinXP PC communicates its bookmarks + bookmark folders, but not its tabs; a Win7 Starter Edition PC syncs nothing in & out

I just want to report inconsistencies in synchronizing 4 machines. ALL four were introduced to syncing in the last week or so under the latest Firefox. No account was open under the older sync method.
3 machines below run Firefox 33.0. The Windows XP machine runs Firefox 32.
Two Win 8.1 PCs sync well between each other (can see each other's tabs and bookmarks).
A Win7 Starter Edition PC syncs nothing in & out, even though the Sync icon turns when clicked on.
A WinXP PC communicates its bookmarks and bookmark folders to the Win8 PCs, but NOT its tabs. After the commands HISTORY | TABS FROM OTHER DEVICES in the Win8 PCs, no tab from the XP computer shows up, even though the XP computer has open active tabs.

* How do I turn on sync logs:
# Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
# Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
# Logs and error messages will be located here
