Pavilion g6 webcam. unable to find out how to launch it or turn it on. it does not show up anywhere

Brand new lap top. Unable to find out how to launch or use the webcam. It is not listed anywhere under control pannel. Any ideas how to launch it?

The software used to launch webcam is Cyberlink youcam installed on the Notebook. You can search for it in Start menu under All Programs.

Thanks very much for your help, but I'm still overlooking something. I double checked to make sure that I did not have a hidden .txt file extention. I then decided to abandon the lock on preferences idea until I get it working. I converted my mozilla.cfg file back to plain text. I made sure I do not have an extra blank line at the end of each file. The syntax looks good, as far as I can tell. I'll copy and paste what I have so far. Did I have the file locations correct posted above? Also, if you feel i can delete some lines of text in my mozilla.cfg file I'll be happy to do so.

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

Its not iTunes on your phone that needs to be updated - its iTunes on your computer.
Start iTunes on your PC/Mac and it should prompt you.

Need to find out how to lock a point in a path that will not allow the rest of the path to rotate or move around it

Hello,
I am having some trouble with using shape layers and paths to create a solid, flat 'hair' effect in a cartoon animation.
I have used a semicircle shape layer as the hair on the head itself and then a path with a stroke of the same width as the semi circle to be the long part of the hair.
Unfortunately when I move/rotate the bottom point in the path it causes gaps to appear further up where the stroke is rotating around the point at which the stroke is supposed to "connect" to the semi circle.
I have included a couple of screenshots of me rotating the hair opposite ways so you can see.

I need to find out if there is a way to lock the top point in place where it joins the semi circle blond hair which will stop this part from moving at all, even rotating around the point.
But the bottom needs to move freely and obviously the part between the two points will move fairly naturally.
If you can imagine how a girl with long hair has her hair attached to her head, it does not move at all, but the bottom moves freely. It needs to be like this.
If you can provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases

How do I remove a device from iTunes that does not show up under "Manage Devices" in account?

My husbands macbook is logged in with his iTunes account. For some reason my iPad (linked with my account) keeps showing up on his macbook under his account. I went on his account and to manage devices and my iPad is not one of the devices listed. So how do I permanentaly delete my iPad from showing up on his account?

It is showing up in his iTunes library as all iDevices would.
That has nothing to do with his iTunes account.
My iPad device is not an option as a device being used by his apple ID.
It's not being used by his AppleID.
Select the iPad in his iTunes library.
Click the Summary tab.
Uncheck Sync this iPsd over wifi.
Uncheck Open iTunes when this Pad is connected.
Right click > Eject the iPad.

I get podcasts from the RN site. All of them are transcripted for ease to the user to find names and review the contents. The old application showe the text on top of the artwork as a transparency and you could scroll as with any other text. Since the update to iOS6 and to the podcast app I CAN NOT SEE THE TEXT!!!
