Pavilion G6: Windows 10 BSOD Error

Once I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 (64-bit) whenever I would put my laptop to sleep or close the lid and come back to it, it would come back on but immediately be frozen and it would not respond. After a couple of seconds a blue screen of death with a frowny face would pop up. It usually gives me the error code of: UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION Then when I would come and start my laptop from being off sometime it will give me a BSOD right at the beginning and it would have error code, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED Is there anyway to fix this? I would very much enjoy being able to have windows 10 on my laptop. Given the amount of BSOD I have had I went back to Windows 7 until a solution can be found. Sidenote: I also had a similar problem with windows 8, it did the same exact thing as Windows 10 did. It just gave me a different error code: KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. I went back to Windows 7 on that situation as well. Any help to fix this would be great! Thanks in advance.

Install windows 10 again this time choose Not to save any data or system settings. Back up important data first.

Hello everyone - I hope I can get a reply to fix my son's computer (I can't afford to buy a new one).
I received the blue screen of doom and I was not aware that Windows had a patch to fix this before the error occurred. I tried to restore my system to when I first bought this computer without losing all my data (specially my pictures). The system won't let me send HP an email and I can’t see how to contact them just to ask for a price. Perhaps, there may be another place where I can get the diskette for this fix - does anyone know how to get the diskette or if I can download the fix from somewhere else?

Get BartPE or Ultimate Boot CD and you should be able to get the computer to a state that will allow you to copy your files.
If you have a spare computer or HD, configure the problem HD as a slave and you should be able to access your files.

likely win8.1 dont have official bootcamp support yet
1/3 of my logins into win8.1 result in a fatal bluescreen
was the same deal when I installed win8 before official support
and when the drivers with official support was released the issue went away

BSOD Error Windows 2008 R2 Terminal Server

Hi guys
I have a unique issue on a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Terminal Server where it keeps blue screening every so often (from every 2 or 3 days to some times once a week) with the exact same BSOD error. After countless hours Googling and researching I am simply
at a dead end and desperately require some guidance if possible. I have ran malware bytes and other tools and the TS does not have any malware or viruses. I have ran a chkdsk and everything is also okay with that.

Just got a new Ipad mini 32 and can't connect to my HP Pavilion DM1 windows 8 via bluetooth. I get to the stage where you have to confirm on both systems the generated code and then it goes in error. Not supported. Any clue ?

Unless you have an iOS app that uses BT for a specific purpose, such as file transfer, BT on the iPad alone, as stated, does not support it.

HP Pavilion dv2700 Windows Vista 32-bit speakers and microphone

I would like to seek expert opinion on the following two issues:
1. I am having this issue with audio playback on my notebook PC. I see that when I play any audio file from the Internet or even the sample audio clips on Windows, the audio is output only from the right speaker. The left speaker remains muted. I have checked all the settings and they appear normal.
2. I recently installed skype on my notebook, but when I make a call I can see that the other party is not able to listen to my voice. I tried with and without headphones, and there is the same effect. There is a mechanism for testing the microphone in the skype application, and using the test I could see that the microphone is working.
Please suggest how these issues could be resolved.

Since you are having so many problems you are likely looking at the best recourse of action to be replacing the motherboard. With so many capacitors going bad and you are getting the BSOD errors (likely due to the capactiors) the best recourse is a replacement.
Since you are out of warranty you can attempt fixing them yourself, but I wouldn't recommend it.

HP 650 notebook BSOD error code : 0xc0000034

I have a HP650 notebook (Windows 8.1) and have for about 20 months. I ran a battery check and it said to calibrate it so i did so by going into the HP diagnostic test or something by pressing F2/escape on start-up. I ran it fine and it went for about 2 hours and upn completion it said it worked. It then restarted the laptop and i got a BSOD. It read "Your PC needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some required information. File /BCD . Error code:0xc0000034. You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media." After looking online for a couple of hours someone told me to run an elevated command prompt and type in the following in order: "Bootrec /fixmbr, Bootrec /fixboot, Bootrec /scanos. Bootrec /rebuildbcd". After doing so it worked and i backed up everything on my laptop. My question is why did this happen. It must of had to been something to do with the battery configuration. Anyway, how can i stop this from happening in the future? Will it happen again or is it fixed as i typed those specific commands above and it worked or are the commands just a temporary fix or something? Also can i run the battery check again just to double check it worked or do you think i will get the BSOD error message again?

I get BSOD errors fairly often. This may have started to happen after enabling

Apple Radeon HD5770 Crossfire on Windows 7 BSOD

So many users who bought two Apple Radeon HD 5770's video cards can't use Crossfire under Windows.
Crossfire works perfectly on very old Catalyst 10.11 drivers. All newer drivers doesn't work causing BSOD error just after clicking Enable Crossfire.

Cannot connect my Officejet 8500 a909a to my HP Pavilion dv7 Windows 7 64-bit

I have never been able to setup my Officejet 8500 A909a printer using my HP Pavilion dv7 Windows 7 Home Premiun notebook PC. After enumerable attempts I gave up and just used a thumb drive to transfer my printing from my notebook to my old tower PC and printed it from there. Well, my tower died and I really need to be able to print and scan from my notebook. I installed/uninstalled/reinstalled the latest printer driver with no liuck. I have also tried using the HP Print and Scan Doctor. It tells me I don't have all the needed software but when I click on Install, it fails too. Any suggestions?

I read your post about the issues you've had with installing your Officejet 8500 A909a printer on your Windows 7 system. I understand it fails however, could you send me a screen shot or more information about the failure? You may see a Fatal Error message and a code when you look at the error logs.
In the meantime, you can try a Clean Boot, restart the PC, temporarily disable any Firewalls and/or Anti-Virus' you have running.
Try running the installation again. Go back into the Clean Boot options to enable the start up programs again.
Please keep me posted on the results and info!

2GB or more RAM cause BSOD error.

i have hp pavilion dv4 1241tx notebook. I faced BSOD error from last 1 month. As i start my notebook just after 2 or 3 minutes it leads to blue screen of death. I went to local hp service center and they told me that the notebook work well with 1GB of RAM but as they use 2 or 4 gb RAM it'll again leads to same error but still they are not able to find that what is the cause for all this. Sir plz help me out.

Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.

You will need to provide more details as we cannot see your computer screen. Does this happen every time you launch LabVIEW? What version of LabVIEW are you using? What version of Windows? Does LabVIEW crash? If so, what were you doing at the time it crashed?
