    I have replaced a Verizon basic phone with a Verizon smart phone. My basic phone is on a "Pay-As-You-Go" plan with over a $300.00 credit balance. Yet Verizon been unable to tell me how I can get some usage of this credit balance. If I stop my Auto-Pay, I will lose the whole credit balance. Does anyone knows of some way I can get some usage of this credit balance??

    i dj for a living and have finally decided to purchase a mac.  i am a little upset that i can't use my music site because it isn't compatible with a mac.  does anyone know of any music sites that you can purchase a monthly subscription?

    The answer to all is without BT Broadband you will not be able to view it unless you pay £12 to view it on Sky in your home.

    Hi all,
    If I buy a pay as you go iphone on the O2 network, I get 12 months on unlimited 3G data and wifi access.
    1) Can I access internet when there is no wifi hotspot?
    2) If I buy another iphone pay as you go after 12 months, will I get the 12 months unlimited 3G data and wifi access again, hence, by passing to pay £10/month for it ? (provided they are still offering it)

    Andy.  McGovern3.  I want to cancel pay-as-you-go!  As I have already contributed to monthly subscription.  And told that it is activated.  However, when I make a phone call.  The money is taken out of my pay-as-you-go eight euros remaining!  I would like if you would direct me and this problem.  Andy McGovern

    Payment agreement for the "Auto-Recharge" can be cancelled as explained here: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1042/
    And the reason why money is taken out of your Skype Credit is a fact that that you call mobile numbers. Only calls to landlines are included in your subscription.

  • Pay as you go - The Charge against Skype Credit Ra...

    Thank you Skype for your Service but I do feel a little let down and don not understand the Charging against my Skype Credit Account ?
    I have been trialing the last Free Trial of Worldwide Unlimited Calls. I really only call the USA, so want to buy this Subscription and not the Worldwide and also wanted to compare the savings if I were to just Pay as You Go ?
    If I I understand correctly the Pay as you Go rates of 1.6p a minute plus the 3.4p Connection charge.
    However, I tried to MAKE two calls to a USA Cell phone and even though I did not even get through.
    I had 20p deducted from my existing Skype Credit balance.
    Can you explain why ??

    As long as you keep renewing your account every 30 days by adding the $15.00 your account will stay active and the money will be carried over up to $1,000.00 dollars. If you have had the cell for more than 6 months you can get a contract or monthly plan and you will be given credit for the money on your phone. I use the extra money for long distance calls since I do not have  a long distance carrier on my landline, also if you text you can use it that way.  If you put in a $30.00 prepaid card it will be good for 90 days so that would save you $15.00 every 90 days by not buying the $15.00 card every 30 days also you can buy a $100.00 card and it would be good for one year.

    I also looked up if you could gift skype credit, but I'm not sure if that is in option to do in Australia.

    It sounds like you did your homework.  All of this depends on your mother's calling - how often would she call Australia, and for how long.  After a little while, a subscription would be a better way to go.  It would cost less than continuing to pay the per-minute rate for calls paid for with Skype Credit.  Unfortunately, there are no "unlimited" subscriptions covering calls to Australian mobiles, due in large part to the costs of calling those phones.  The "Pay monthly" options are subscriptions, which would automatically renew every month - but can be cancelled when you don't need them. 
    As for how fast Skype Credit would be be used up, that again depends on how often your mother would call Australia.  She should be able to look at previous phone bills, or how often she pays for phone cards, to get an idea of her calling to Australia.  Or you can do that for her.  That will be the bottom line in determining which is the best and most cost-effective option for her.

    i have the i phone 4, but my credit is shot so i have the pay as you go unlimeted talk text and pict sms for 50.00. Im happy with the service ive been with this mobile company for years. I  have been using the wi-fi at  my house for the phone. T-mobile now offers same price for talk text and web just you have to unlock the phone. Is this a wise choice? At@t leave me no alternative and the rep stated i can go to at@t and ask them to unlock. I am just curios if this is safe for integrity of the drive and is there and setbacks and last will at@t realize soon that they will lose a monthly sale.

    Hi,I hope someone is able to help.I have been trying for 3 months to have my pay as you go Orange phone unlocked. It is a Samsung F480.On three separate occasions I have rang customer services and have been assured they would sort it in a couple of weeks. No further communication was received each time.Then I tried our local EE shop in town. The staff left me in no doubt that there was no way they could help and I needed to contact customer service again.Three weeks ago I filled an online request, got an acknowledgement, and waited again. After ten days I was asked to redo my online because the IMEI number was not correct. I dispute that.Anyway I resubmitted my request, again after 10 days I have another text my IMEI number is not correct.I have obtained the IMEI number again by dialing *#06# how do I submit it to my application to unlock?There is no way I can find to do this. I have given up with customer service.Forgot to mention I have the required £8.99 in credit to pay for unlocking.Please help.   

    Hi James B,Thank you so much for your reply, after 3 months of silence I appreciate someone trying to help.I have contacted customer service again to check my IMEI number on record and it was the same one I found on my phone.The customer service rep was very sympathetic and (again) assured me he would personally sort it out.I accepted his assurance (again) because I am at a loss to do otherwise.However one thing which was differenr this time. A lady rang back within 5 minutes asking if I was happy with the service. I had to say I was reserving judgement. Again she assured me she would be in touch in a couple of days.Hopefully this time I may get a result. At one time I had paid inadvertently for three account for Acrobat XI Pro running at the same time - I only need 1. I'm afraid that I may have just opened a second account by mistake in order to open my files. I repeat, I only require one account. Would you please advise and assure me that this matter has finally been resolved and that I will no longer receive these notifications each month..

    I don't work for Adobe but it seems to me you might be signing in to Acrobat with the wrong Adobe ID.
    Check the Adobe ID you use in Acrobat.
    Check this Adobe ID on Adobe's to make sure that it has an active subscription.

     I live in Canada and am considering buying a 400 minute subscription for the Bahamas, but I already have skype to go, and spend about $20.00 - $30.00 on skype credit, on top of having a 60 minute subscription that I recently cancelled. If I cancel the skype to go for the subscription, can I still make phone calls to the Bahamas from my cell phone using my subscription. And is it cheaper to have the subscription? Or will I need to keep both. Also, what extra charges are involved in skype to go?

    Skype To Go is just a number that you can call from your cell phone and it will enable you to make calls from your Skype account. Adding Skype To Go to your Skype account doesn't cost anything.
    Most people sit behind their computer, log in with Skype and make calls to landline/mobile numbers. In order to pay for these calls customers can use either Skype Credit or a subscription. Subscription is more suitable for customers who reguraly make lot of calls. For example if you know that you will be calling about 400minutes to Bahamas then subscripton is more suitable, because there won't be connection fees and overall cost should be lower.
    But if you purchase Bahamas 400 and only make 1-2 calls then Skype Credit is definitely more suitable. Skype Credit(Pay as you go) is for users who don't call so much and make calls only once in a while. As the name says, you pay when you need to make a call.
    If customers can't make calls from their computer then this is where Skype To Go comes in. Basically Skype To Go is just a number that you call, it will connect you with Skype and sort of asks Skype to make a call from your Skype account to desired destination. Therefore if you wish to use your cell phone to call through Skype instead of sitting behind your computer then you should keep Skype To Go number.

    Short answer is YES.
    If you have a subscription that covers for example US then every time you call US subscription will be used and if you call any other country then by default Skype Credit will be used because subscription only covers US.
