Hi! I'm from Spain. I'm in a educational stage that would be more or less equivalent to what you call high school. This stage here is called "bachillerato". Does anyone know if at this stage I have rights to buy and use legally the Photoshop CS6 Extended student version for learning and earning money with commercial projects like games with some elements made with that version of Photoshop? I know that if I study something related with Photoshop in University I can use the student version then.I would contact Adobe España Customer support, as they should know the full qualifications for "educational" accreditations there.
As for the university qualification, one does not normally need to be pursuing a degree, that would use Photoshop, to qualify for the "educational" discount - just full student, or teacher, accreditation - but that might differ in Spain?
Also, for many years now, Adobe has removed the restriction on doing commercial work (for pay) with the educational version, and that should be universal, and not just limited to certain countries, but it might pay to ask that question of Customer Support.

How do you determine when certificates will expire?
I recently started at a company and my predecessor left no information on licenses and certificates. I need to determine when the certificates expire so I can be prepared to update them with limited downtime.
If we are talking about the application server SSL certs, then by opening the adminui with https in browser, click on lock icon (In Firefox, More Information -> View Certificate ) as below :
Check out Expires on field.

Why does the bill confuse you about when your contract expires?
Now, I learn the hard way that the upgrade date is not your expiration date. The only date on myverizon.com was the day to upgrade, which was 8.10. So changing providers one month later, seemed acceptable. Today I get my bill and there is an Early Termination Fee for $150.00. I called customer service and they tell me they agree that it is confusing, that is why they now removed the date to upgrade from newer customers, but because we were a customer for so long there is nothing they can do. The only way to get the charge off my bill is for my son to cancel his new contract and come back to our family plan till December 10th. This is the last straw. Outrageous. Why treat really good customers this way?

Well JonathanK, I did call customer service and explained the confusion. We actually have a famiily plan with Verizon, we have been a customer for 5-6 years and we have always had 5 users on our family plan. The BP Oil spill damaged our business and we have slowly re-organzied our lives. In that entire upheaval we told our older children they would have to get a cell phone plan on their own. We just needed to save money. So we checked online with the contract expiration times and the date we saw on one child's phone was 8/10/2013. That's when we thought for certain we were safe from termination fees if we cancelled in September, he had some life changes that couldn't let him make the change any sooner. So when the termination fee mysteriously appeared on our bill, especially since the goal of him leaving our family plan was to save money, it was a shock. So when I called customer service and tried to tell them, we would have never allowed him to leave if we knew we were going to be charged, the only solution they offered was to have him cancel his new service and come back to Verizon, which was impossible because they had to pay set up fees for their new service. I am very disappointed with how all this was handled, and that we had no indication that we were going to be charged a termination fee. If anyone would have given us a warning we would not be facing a $150.00 termination fee that we really can't afford to pay. We have three users left on our verizon contract and we will be very careful to let our contracts expire and then that is IT. We are done. We won't be stuck in a contract again, FROM NO OTHER CELL PHONE PROVIDER. Thank you for listening to my total frustration of your lack of communication.

How EXACTLY was it "unlocked"?
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Anything else is a hack.
If it was hacked/jailbroken to unlock it, you can't get help here per the terms of service. It is most likely now bricked. -

The gift card does not expire, though I'd suggest redeeming it soon or you risk losing it; if lost it cannot be replaced. Once redeemed in the iTunes Store, the balance will be shown in iTunes whenever you're connected to and logged into your iTunes Store account or the Mac App Store.

As i just found out thankfully the iphone in the uk will be available on pay as you go , however does anyone how will the 3g/edge service charged? and also say 4 a 16gb model will i pay 150£ or more than that, because i will be on pay as you go and not a contract?

Hadn't heard of that before. That's probably what they'll do. Pay your data usage as you go rather than top up cards. It's a great way for them to make money.
I seem to remember Carphone Whørehouse were warned by OFTEL following their iPhone insurance scams last year. I'm sure that other bunch of high street rogues P4U were hauled over the coals for the deposit scams where users pay a premium and have to claim back cash if they don't use it or something. The 30 day contract sounds not too dissimilar. -
Can you link two iphones to iTunes account, one is pay as you go the other is pay monthly on different service providers, the pay as you go when sync'd can't find it's service provider ??
The iTunes account has nothing to do with the cellular service provider. So you should be able to have both phones on the same account. What problem do you have with it?

Well, to tell the truth, the same driver is working ok in the application server without a connection pool with "connection = DriverManager.getConnection(url, username, password)".
Also works ok on IBM websphere, Jakarta Tomcat, with or without pool. Its is just Sun's connection pool. Also I have seen other threads showing JSK 1.4 is not quite compatible like this one:

When does O2s exclusive contract expire?
After looking at the new pricing for the iPhone 3Gs and the tethering charges etc I was wondering how many new phones Apple expects to sell this time around with O2 and how much longer it expects to maintain their exclusive operator right in the UK.
At these prices ....not many as I suspect, The real winner is the OS 3.0. and the 3G is perfectly adequate use this effectively. Mind you O2 are doing their best to straggle some functionality with tethering charges. Good old O2.
Is O2 really what Apple wants to be associated with in the UK ?O2 are a disgrace! But their customer service is ten times better than phoning a bank...
Their individual tariffs for iPhone are a rip off, and the PAYG prices along with the necessary bolt on's are ridiculous! My 18 month contract with my 1st Gen iPhone ended there last month and I went straight to PAYG. My contract was £35 per month... and i'm still putting £35 per month through the PAYG tariff! What happened to the day's when i'd top up £10 and benefit from free texts and evening minutes and still have £9+ credit remaining at the end of the month on my old Nokia!
O2 are forcing me to pay more for their services. There's no realistic option to pay less than £30 per month to use an iPhone. -

I have a suspended line on my account, and I want to find out when the contract expires, to see if it's cheaper to pay the cancellation fee or pay the contract to it expires.If you are the account owner, do the following:
Contract expiration is very easily found on MyVerizon.
Log into your account
On the next page scroll down and click on MORE ACTIONS
On the pop up screen choose the last option under the PLAN column, VIEW PLAN
Contract end date will be listed next to the image of your device.
Do this for each line on the account -

I just solved this problem on my computer.
Windows 7 comes with only one "Voice" installed. "Microsoft Anna - English (United States)" I'm not sure what you get if your in another country.
You can test your "Voice/Voices" by running Microsoft Narrator. Click [Start] button and type "Narrator" in the [search programs and files] box. Press [Enter]. Your computer should begin talking. Click [Voice Settings] button to see a list of installed voices. Take note of the voices listed. "Mine has just the one."
Adobe Reader must have a voice selected that you have installed. To verify your settings Run Adobe Reader. From the top menu click [Edit] then click [Preferences] at the bottom of the list. In the Preferences window click [Reading] from the left hand list. Find "Read Out Loud Options" Un-check [Use default voice] Choose a voice from the drop down menu that you have verified is installed on your computer. Click [OK]
My Adobe Reader had 4 voices listed to choose from. I found this curious because I only have one voice.

How does this happen: The picture of recent apps you get when double clicking the home button showed in Settings-Wifi that I had been connected to a network I have not been near for two months. Its not a recent "image" of Settings-Wifi. Can anyone explain?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
