Paying a vendor with Credit Card instead of check and specifying so in Orac

Hello,
We are going to start paying some of our vendors in Accounts Payable via American Express credit card instead of generating a check. What is the best way to reflect this in Oracle? Now, we pay via check and it is specified in the AP records. Instead, we want to pay via CC and specify that we did so in the AP record.

Would you maybe be getting a credit card transaction data file format from American Express? Oracle does provide a loader program for the American Express KR-1025 format. After you load the credit card transaction data, then you validate the data. Once validated, employees can enter these credit card transactions on expenrse reports. Though this does not sound like an expense report situation, so perhaps this won't work out for you. So another possibility would be to handle this like a manual payment process. As mentioned in another post, you could look at another payment document type. So you have some choices here. Make sense?

Pay with Credit Card Instead of Gift Card?

I have already credited my iTunes account with a gift card and there is still a balance on it. Is there any way that I can choose to pay with my credit card instead of my gift card balance? Thanks for any help!

That's unfortunate. Is there any way that I can temporarily clear my balance somehow? American Express is doing a promotion for free songs on iTunes but you have to pay with your AmEx card in order to get the songs for free. So, if I currently have a gift card balance then I would have to burn through that first in order for iTunes to charge my AmEx. Any one have any experience trying to do this?

Unfortunately, you will have to fly to Miami to do that. Even then I have no idea what it will cost for you to bring it back into Argentina. But the Apple Store in the US cannot ship out of the US.

Paying for itunes with a credit card instead of gift card

I currently have $ on an itunes gift card and this gift card's balance is on my itunes. I got an email from Am. Ex. that if I use $5.00 on my credit card on itunes, I GET $5.00 for itunes. Problem is, every time I download a song it comes off my gift card balance. How do I change to the Am Ex credit card on file to pay for my songs instead of the gift card?

Really late on this, but just in case anyone has this question: anytime you "gift" something on the itunes store to someone else, it charges your credit card instead of your gift card. Simply send the "gift" to your own email (perhaps not associated with your apple ID) and then just redeem the code it sends you in your itunes account

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Pay through the credit card is a by the customer is one of the existing functionlity in
SAP.
For which we have a separte Sales Document type and processing of Credit Card Process
will be having some extras fields like Card Type, Card Number and Expire date when
compared with Normal Sales Order.

Cash Sales with Credit card

Hi,
I would like to know how to handle a scenario in which a customer comes to a shop where he will pick the goods and pay immediately by Cash, Credit Card or Cheque( Rarely).
I understand that Cash Sales Order will be suitable for this scenario. But I would like to know how credit cards can be used here.
Also should a customer(Sold-to-Party) be created everytime whenever a new customer comes in. I can use one time customer but I would like to maintain his address details also for any promotional events.
Please share your ideas on these.

I've been helping companies implement this functionality since it was released in R/3 4.0B in 1997. The Payment Card functionality in the SD & FI modules can be used for accepting payment card functionality for any type of scenario so long as the order is entered in SD via a Sales Order creation transaction such as VA01.
It doesn't matter if it is a B2B or B2C scenario, but to Frank's point a B2B scenario typically has less variation to the workflow and tends to work better.
If the credit card is entered on the Sales Order during order creation then SAP will determine, during Order Save, if any of the items on the order are eligible to have their amounts included in an Authorization request. This is determined based on Schedule Lines being confirmed with a Material Availability date within 'X' number of days from the system date. The 'X' is a configuration setting usually set to 3 days or less.
Once an authorization is obtained, SAP will continue to check that the authorization is "valid" or "un-expired" during subsequent Delivery and Invoice creation. The authorization details will be copied to the Invoice, used to post it to Accounting and eventually included in the nightly Settlement file run.
It tends to be fairly easy to use, but let me know if you have any specific questions.

Problem with credit card verification with firefox 4 (works with safari!)

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4 and tried to book train tickets online. I have done this many times before with earlier Firefox versions. Now however, after being redirected to the card verification page and submitting my security details, instead of confirming my booking Virgin trains asks me to log on again! I thought it was a problem with the website but I subsequently booked the tickets using Safari so I guess that means there is a problem with Firefox 4. Can I go back to the previous version?

I, also, have previously made credit card purchases with Firefox version 3 without any problems.
I only encountered this problem with credit card verification after downloading Firefox 4. I was however able to book tickets successfully, the same day, using Internet Explorer and the card verification went through as normal. I am confident that the problem was due to problems with the new version of Firefox.

HT204088 How come all our purchased were not deducted from the redeem card number entered yesterday and have deducted my credit card instead ?

My sun has entered like he always does his redeem card gift and purchased a sereis of song yesterday. How come any of his purchased were deducted from his redeem card and were all charge to my credit card instead? No amount are showing up under the my account name like usual. Normally we see the total amount of our gift card and we are able to see that number dropped after each purchase...

It looks like the only graphics card option for this model is the GeForce GT 630 (2 GB). The GT 630 is not a large powerful card, so it is conceivable that the bracket isn't installed with integrated graphics or a low-end graphics card that doesn't require it. The "graphics card bracket" would mosr likely be installed with larger more powerful cards like the GeForce GTX680, Radeon HD7770, etc. Typically, the videos on HPs website are used for hundreds of different models and may show optional items not installed on a particular computer or may not show items that are installed. Just because a part is or isn't shown in the video, doesn't mean your specific computer is going to be the same.

If you have a balance on your iTunes account then that will automatically be used for purchases before your credit card will be - you can't change how items are billed.
You could try gifting items to yourself, you can only gift via a credit card (I haven't tried it but I think that you should be able to gift items to yourself)

The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway.
