Paying for additional iCloud storage

Can I use the credit on my iTunes account to pay for my additional I cloud storage plan

This is the downgrade method:
Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click the iCloud icon.
Click the Manage button.
Click Change Storage Plan.
Click Downgrade Options.
Enter your Apple ID password, then click Manage.
Choose the required plan, then click Done.
However I don't know whether you can elect to use credit: possibly you could go to your Account in the iTunes Store and remove the credit card - this is a guess, but it might force it to use credit.
