The movie from the iTunes Store that I tried to download To my iPad didn't completely download. I was unable to watch it. Why am I still being charged for it?
If your country permits re-downloading delete the movie and re-download it.

After updated to iTunes 11.1.4 for windows vista , I was unable to open iTunes and it keep error message. My iphone unable to USB hotspot the internet to computer. Pls Help
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I rented a short film on iTunes but didn't have enough space for the HD version I paid for. I was unable to download it in OR convert it to SD for whatever reason and cannot seem to download my purchase on my desktop iTunes. Am I missing something?
When you purchase an HD movie or show, in most cases the SD copy can be downloaded from your purchases area in iTunes. On the main iTunes Store page, go to Purchases under the Quick Links and then select Movies or TV shows as appropraite. Click the "Not On This Computer" button. Uncheck the "Download HD when available" box and you should then see the SD copies of the movies/shows and be able to download them.
Note that with digital copies from a Blu-Ray or DVD, if it comes with an HD copy, you normally cannot get the SD copy as well and have to purchase it separately if you want it.

Do I still pay for the movie if not enough storage?
if not enough storage to download a movie on my iphone, do I still have to pay for the movie? It downloaded halfway before I got the "not enough storage" message.
This is why I hesitated before posting something in a discussion format. IPadgirl, thank you for your help with my question. I don't see it on my ITunes bill do I'm guessing it didn't charge me.
Diesel, you have clearly misunderstood my question. I'm new to the IPhone and it wouldn't occur to me to check how much storage I had before trying to download a movie, especially since I don't have many apps on my phone. I didnt see the purchase in iTunes which is why I was unsure about being charged in the first place. Also, I back up everything on my phone every day to my computer. I have done that with any phone I have so that is not an issue. Clearly you are a major fan of Apple if you would defend its honor so passionately in response to my question. There is no reason to be a jerk about it, though. Your rude manner was not necessary and quite uncalled for. -
ITunes 9.1 was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services.
Everything was working perfectly fine on 9.0, then i upgraded to 9.1 version and my iPod Touch 3G stopped syncing properly (error as in subject). I tried many things, checked dll's, restarted services, everything without success. SO...
I uninstalled every single apple program and couple non applce. Deleted every Apple related file, even all those hidden in users/common files/app data folders. Double checked everything and restarted PC. THEN I downloaded full version of iTunes 9.1 64bit and installed.
Aaaand I restarted everything, lunched iTunes, plugged iPod in. Some Apple drivers installed themselves, then iTunes was frozen for couple minutes. Finally iPod shown in iTunes. I tried to sync and... BAM. Still broken, still same error "iTunes 9.1 was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later"
Please help, my iPod is useless. Can u release new, working iTunes?OK i have to say, i finally fixed it. Now its fully working without ANY problems, here is what i did (before trying this u should probably do this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923):
1. Unplug every external Card Reader.
2. Unplug every Card Reader in your PC (they are plugged into motherboard)
3. Unplug every USB Hub.
4. Unplug every USB Drive or USB HDD.
5. Plug in Ipod Touch/iPhone.
6. Go to Device Manager.
7. Search for "USB Mass Storage Device" in Universal Serial Bus Controler.
8. Right click on it and UNINSTALL.
9. Search for "Scan for hardware changes", click on it and wait a bit.
10. Turn on iTunes and check if its working.
Now it should work like a charm. -

Whether you can redownload a film depends upon what country that you are in (they can't be redownloaded in all countries), the studio that it's from (not all allow redownloading), and whether it remains in your country's store (film studios, as well as other content providers, occasionally remove their items from the store) - what you can redownload will show in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps (and the ibookstore in the iBooks app) on your iPad, and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
But rather than relying on being able to redownload it, if you haven't already got a copy on it then you can copy it over to your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it -

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I have iTunes installed on a laptop that I use for work, but it's owned by my employer. A new policy my have them deleting iTunes from the machine. If that happens, will I lose all my music? I am an iCloud user and pay for iTunes match.
If they just delete iTunes, the music files should still be there. I suggest making a backup of them though. Locate your iTunes folder (The one that contains your library file) and just copy the whole thing to your Documents folder or wherever you like (Just not in the same directory of the original folder otherwise the computer will get confused and could confuse your iTunes library). Then you will have a backup of all your music, plus if you purchased it from iTunes, you will still have it linked to your Apple ID so you can re-download them to any computer with iTunes on it when you feel like it.
