Hello,
I am set up to pay from my checking account and cannot figure out how to switch to pay with my credit card. It's in my list but I don't how to switch to it. I'm sure it is the most simple thing to do.
Please help.

Welcome to the forum!
You need to pay it either credit card or phone bill, however it depends on your location. If you want to download songs from the Nokia Music, you need to check your Nokia account if it's possible to purchase a song using a credit card or using a phone bill.
To do this, go to account.nokia.com/ using your computer and then log in to your Nokia account. On the left side of the screen, click on Payment settings. Then, check under My payment methods if you can use either phone bill or credit card to purchase songs.

If the iTunes gift card you cashed was cashed in your father's account, then you can't really access that money. You can have him log into iTunes as himself, or you could even bug him to send you an iTunes allowance:

How do you pay with a credit card when the Store has a cash balance?

I think the iTunes Store automatically applies your cash balance with before it tries to charge your credit card on file. Is there a way to override this and manually enter your credit card information to pay for a song purchase?
I have a half dozen credit cards I don't want closed. Putting a small charge on them once in a while makes sure the card accounts stay home, and purchasing a song from iTunes is one of the perfect ways of doing this. So once a month of so, I'd like to purchase a half dozen songs each with a different credit card. My store account already has $140 in cash balance, because I keep on getting iTunes gift cards faster than I can use them.
Aside from creating a second iTunes account, whose library would be a pain to maintain the integration with my main account, is there a way to accomplish my goal?

Yes, starting recently you can pay for Adobe CC (education or regular) via PayPal – it's accepted for subscriptions in 18 countries now and hopefully increasing.. Here's an update:

How to I purchase a CC subscription in Indonesia (work here), but trying to pay with Australian Credit Card (won't let me)?

Hi,
I am currently trying to upgrade my trial subscription to an educational subscription. I live and work in Indonesia (currently), but when I go to pay - the only options for the billing address are in this particular region of the world (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia etc.).
I only have an Australian credit card with the billing address listed there. How do I pay using that particular card?

Unfortunately, this particular link is very US-centric, and doesn't really help someone in Indonesia. Is it really only possible for me to contact a 1-800 number in the states in order to get assistance on how to purchase a Creative Cloud Membership? Not blaming you, just wondering why there is not some email address that I can contact to get specific help? As I am still trying to purchase Creative Cloud - does Adobe really not want my business?

What are you seeing on the iPad's screen when trying to purchase things, and is this the first time that you've tried to download anything from the store ?
If it's the first time then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you are getting a prompt to review the account then you could see if the steps on this post by mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without needing to enter credit card details : Re: What do I do if I do not have a credit card.
