Hi Raj,
Looks like , issue is in validation of payload.
Please validate payload against the ecs using document editor.

  • Payload issues in PI7.11 system

    hi,
    we have upgraded our pi system recently from PI7.0 to 7.11, we are seeing few payload issues in the newly upgraded system.
    scenario: file to file, using Central Adapter Engine and
    basically for a file to file interface , we are not able to see the payload in the messages. Though the message is failing at the recevicer determination pipeline. we are curious that why payload is not being displayed at the header level. But for other interfaces the payload is being visible.
    error: xml cannot be displayed
    cannot view xml input using style sheet, please correct the error and click the refresh button.
    Invalid at the top level of the document, error processing file:///c:/documents and settings
    1 TMECHBP 89912 85940 31.57
    missing equals sing between attribute and attribute value.
    The same scenario is working in 7.0 system and payload is visible but not in 7.11
    please share your inputs.
    thanks,
    durga

    As already mentioned above, it looks like the message shown in the monitor is no XML, but rather a flat file.
    Probably the file content conversion in the sender file communication channel is not migrated (in PI 7.0 you would see the same error in case a flat file would show up in the monitor without being converted).
    To check the 'real' content of the payload, you can go to the SXMB_MONI transaction and use a right mouse click on the payload to get a context menu which should have an entry "View Source". If you do so, then the content should be shown in some text editor and it should become clear whether the content is XML or not. If it is not, then please check the configuration of the file content conversion; if so, then check whether the content is valid XML.

  • Payload issue in jdbc to proxy scenario

    HI Experts,
    We have designed a new interface from jdbc to proxy where in it went fine with the design part.
    But while testing it the records are pulled by XI but were not posting to ECC.
    So when collected the payload to test in mapping I see a red color to the fields in the structure. due to which am not able to get the output in mapping.
    Can anyone help me out how to resolve this issue.
    Appreciate the quick response.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranganath.

    Add those Extra fields in your Data type and dont map it with target.
    or
    In select stataement in sender JDBC adapter mention the fieldname you want to pick
    Suppose employee table has 3 field
    EmployeeeID,
    Employeename
    address
    but you dont want address field then write the select query like this
    Select EmployeeeID, Employeename from employee
    mention the table fieldnames in select query which you have in your mapping source structure.
    if you are write select * from employee
    then address will come as extra field and create problem in mapping

  • CS6 Install  -Adobe Switchboard Payload issue

    I installed CS6 extended with no issues about a week ago and it was working beautifully and unfortunately one of my four 8GB memory DIMMs was bad and I had to get 32GB of new RAM and reinstall everything.
    I have legitmiately purchased and have a valid serial #. This set of 4 120GB SSD drives which run in RAID 0 as my C: drive had no previous versions of CS6 or betas.
    I have attempted to install twice now and both times I get the following error below. aftre the first failed install I unistalled and rebooted before attmepting the second install. I ma running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and I am installing CS6 64 bit.

    Thanks Jeff.
    I spoke to a support person at Adobe today and he asked if Photoshop was launching, which I hadn’t tried when I received the errors, so I launched it with him on the phone and it launched with no issues.
    He had me restart and launch again while he hung on the line. After the system restart it launched with no issues again.
    This is the extract form the installer log which details the errors:

    I downloaded the software using the Adobe Download assistant as my retailer simpy emailed me the product key so I have no physical media to insert into my optical drive.
    I am not sure how critcal these components are that are referenced in the above errors so I am looking for guidance on:
    Is my install as is with these errors stable and operational – meaning will I ever miss these components? My preference obviouly is to install and have a zero error report and a clean log.
    Should I unistall and try to install again, and if so are there are Microsoft components I shouild be updating/installing first? If it is an insaller issue what is the recommended procedure for me to go about installing?
    If it is an installer issue how do I get Adobe to get me media? – I ordered full media to be delivered and given the amount of money I paid for Photoshop CS6 I was surprised to get a call from the retailer indicated that they were sold out but they could give me a serial number for Photoshop CS6 Extended for no additional fee but I would need to download it. So I guess I got a ggod deal getting Extended for $730 Canadian including taxes but I would still prefer Photoshop CS6 with CDs.

  • Assign one complex element from payload issue in 11g BPEL

    Upgraded BPEL 10.1.3.4 to 11g (11.1.1.3.0) and I know the compiler is stricter and all, but I haven't been able to get this working. The requirement is loop through the elements of a payload in a while loop and "do something" with each. Here is a sample of the element structure:
    - <ns2:costCenter>
    <ns2:costCenterNo>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.04/990000</ns2:costCenterNo>
    <ns2:costCenterName>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.04/990000</ns2:costCenterName>
    <ns2:level1>683-01-I</ns2:level1>
    <ns2:level3>990000</ns2:level3>
    <ns2:address />
    <ns2:city />
    <ns2:state />
    <ns2:zip />
    </ns2:costCenter>
    - <ns2:costCenter>
    <ns2:costCenterNo>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.06/990000</ns2:costCenterNo>
    <ns2:costCenterName>683-01-I/4.3.8.8.06/990000</ns2:costCenterName>
    <ns2:level1>683-01-I</ns2:level1>
    <ns2:level3>990000</ns2:level3>
    <ns2:address />
    <ns2:city />
    <ns2:state />
    <ns2:zip />
    </ns2:costCenter>
    I want to pick out one "costCenter" structure at a time. Here is the Assign code that worked in 10.1.3.4:
    <assign name="GetCurrentCostCenter">
    <copy>
    <from expression="bpws:getVariableData('GetAsentinelCostCenters_FindCostCenter_OutputVariable','FindCostCenterResponse','/ns1:FindCostCenterResponse/ns1:costCenter')[bpws:getVariableData('LoopInd')]"/>
    <to variable="CurrentCostCenter"
    part="FindCostCenterResponse"
    query="/ns1:FindCostCenterResponse/ns1:costCenter"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    I thought I found the solution when I came acorss the 11g samples and in particular "bpel-102-AssignActivities". I tried the CopyList, which ends up copying over ALL the costCenter elements and "ignores" the LoopInd variable. I tried the simple assign, but get the error about result returns too many nodes:
    "XPath query string returns multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query are returning multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query named in the error message returned multiple nodes. It should return single node. According to BPEL4WS specification 1.1 section 14.3, the assign activity part and query named in the error message should not return multiple nodes. Verify the part and xpath query named in the error message at line number 160 in the BPEL source."
    I think I've tried every combination that I can think of. I've resulted to posting here in case someone has a similar requirement and has it working in 11g.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the prompt suggestions. Both gave me a compile error and I couldn't deploy either. I might try rolling back to 11.1.1.2.0, since I found a similar post for this issue with version 11.1.1.3.0. This process has been running on 10.1.3.4 in production for a year now, so this Assign definitely worked before. I don't know what else I can try.
    The Assign works when I hard-code the position, however I get the same CostCeter "/1.6.1.0.01/" assigned every time it goes through the loop, as expected. This has to be a bug in 11.1.1.3.0, it isn't picking up/interpreting the LoopInd variable properly.

  • HTTP payload issue

    Hey all,
    I have an RFC to HTTP scenario, i have managed so far to execute the RFC, pass those values to an XML which is send to an HTTP (Oanda web) and get a response (this last part is the problem)
    i'm trying to map this response from that site to my RFC.Response, but while i see the response in the monitoring  i don't see that this is passing in the format i need which would be:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Response xmlns:ns0="http://test/Fxml">
       <RESPONSE>
          <EXPR/>
          <EXCH/>
          <AMOUNT/>
          <NPRICES/>
          <CONVERSION>
             <DATE/>
             <ASK/>
             <BID/>
          </CONVERSION>
       </RESPONSE>
    </ns0:MT_Response>
    I just see the response in the format send back by the site
    <RESPONSE>
    <EXPR>
    <EXCH>
    <AMOUNT>
    <NPRICES>
    <CONVERSION>
    <DATE>
    <ASK>
    <BID>
    </CONVERSION>
    </RESPONSE>
    - So, as you can see, it seems like the response from the web is making no relation to my Message Type (synchronous), and since my MT is not related, i have an empty response from the RFC
    - How is this possible? what would i need to do in order to create the response in the xml format i created and fill with the correct payload format?
    any help would be apreciated,
    Thanks in advance!

    I tried that but is not working
    if i try to map MT_Response => ZRFC.Response header
    or
    MT_Response/RESPONSE  => ZRFC.Response header
    I get an error (red flag on moni) and i have a mapping exception, my guess is this is because ZRFC.Response is 1.1 and i'm mapping something empty, that's why i was telling that i can't generate the MT_Response file (but in moni i see the RESPONSE format from the web, but is not translating that to my MT)
    of course that if i map a constant to ZRFC.Response i create an empty response, but then again the problem is my MT_Response, maybe im missing a parameter in the HTTP channel that takes the xml payload?

  • Issue in passing payload from Human Workflow to ADF task flow

    Hi All,l
    I am facing one strange issue in Human Workflow -> ADF task form integration. I have 4 Data variables to pass to the task form for displaying and modifying the request payload. E.g
    1. request
    2. propertiesList
    3. input1
    4. input2
    request and properties list variables are in the same namespace. When the process is executed, I can see the data being passed in Initiate taskflow activity in BPEL. However I don't see the data in ADF form only for propertiesList variable. This is a custom schema element I added newly in the project. I don't get any error , but no data is getting displayed.
    Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ashwini

    I have applied workaround for this. However the main issue still exist.
    When I pass hard-coded values in the list and drag and drop that list as selectOneChoice - I see the values in dropdown. Whereas, when the list is passed from program logic and I can see the values passed in initiateTask activity, and drag and drop the field as selectOneChoice, the values don't come up.
    I will replicate this issue in a smaller piece of code and paste here later.
    Thanks
    Ashwini

  • Issue after Migration: ID and Content-ID are different in SOAP Payload

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing a strange issue in the PI landscape after the migration from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1.
    The scenario is from R/3 system to TIBCO System (Proxy-to-SOAP). The TIBCO system receives the file in SOAP Format. The message is sent from PI via SOAP adapter to TIBCO System.
    There is a attachment coming from the R/3 System along with the main message and the main payload/message has a "attachment-ID" as a field. Earlier what used to happen in XI 3.0 that the "Attachment-ID" used to equal to the "Content-ID" when the SOAP payload was generated at the TIBCO end. Now after migration, in PI 7.1 the "Attachment-ID" and "Content-ID" are different. We have control over the "Attachment-ID" as it is coming from the source payload but we do not have any control over the "Content-ID" as we are not creating it.
    Can anyone of you please let me know how the SOAP Payload is created and how the content-ID gets populated in the Header of the SOAP Envelope? Also, can anyone help me to fix this issue? Is it something which needs to be handled by us or the BASIS Team?
    Thanks,
    Arkesh

    Hi Ramesh,
    Thank You for the very Helpful Answer. Before I proceed and close this thread, I have one more question which comes to my mind:
    I create my own SOAP Header if I apply the solution provided by you then will the rest of the details in the SOAP Header payload will change or do I need to customize it for myself? For e.g., there is a field named MessageId in the SOAP Header. If I write a Java Mapping, do I need to manually populate the MessageId field in the SOAP Header of my java code or will it be automatically populated?
    My requirement is to change only the content ID of the SOAP Header Payload and the rest of the fields should remain the same as it is. Is it possible with the approach that you mentioned above?
    Thanks,
    Arkesh

  • PO 7.4 RESTAdapter issue : Unable to parse XML message payload

    Dear experts,
    We are implementing the scenario Exposing a function module as Restful service with the PO RESTAdapter that's avaiable in PO 7.4 SP09 as described in the blog written by Ivo:
    PI REST Adapter – Exposing a function module as RESTful service
    When we test the scenario to processing messages the adapter reports the error message:
    Error while sending message to module processor: senderChannel '589b39c9b91c3ae99040d9addc6a818b': Catching exception calling messaging system: Unable to parse XML message payload to extract operation for receiver determinationorg.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.
    Anyone an idea or solution direction?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers, Luc

    Hi YRV isa,
    Issue solved by Ivo Kulms
    "Either you use a Dummy Interface in the IFlow for the adapter or you have to specify on the Operation Determination Tab which XI Operation / Interface should be used. The table on the tab allows to specify different interface name depending on the internal variables. In the variable columns add for example the REST operation, by entering "operation", in the expression column "GET" or "POST" or "*" and in the operation/namespace columns the XI operation / interface you want to reference.
    The variable "operation" has to be in curly brackets, so that it gets evaluated. So the entry should look like "{operation}" ( or like "{service}" if you want to map the XI operation by REST service name)"
    Kind regards, Luc

  • Payload Swap bean Issues

    Hi
    I'm using the following values in my module tab -
    Module name - AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean
    Module key - swapbean
    This is the sequence of the Module Configuration -
    swapbean      |       swap.keyName        |          Content-Disposition
    swapbean      |       swap.keyName        |           Content-Description
    swapbean      |       swap.keyValue        |           attachment;filename="MailAttachment-1.xls"
    swapbean      |       swap.keyValue        |          MailAttachment-1
    Thanks

    Is there no way of doing this?
    Of course there is a way
    Maybe i could put the swap bean on my file receiver adapter?
    No, if it is file to mail, use the module in at mail sender channel only.
    Try only this in your module parameter.
    swapbean | swap.keyName | payload-name
    swapbean | swap.keyValue | MailAttachment-1

  • BPM :: n To 1 Collected Payload Pattern issue

    Hi
    I am working on following scenario -->
    Web Page --> HTTP Adapter --> XI with BPM ( Using n To 1 Payload Pattern ) --> RFC Adapter --> SAP R/3 --> XI With BPM --> File Adapter --> Legacy System with Response from RFC
    Now everything is configured & when first time I executed the scenario it gives me " Green Flag " under Outbound Status for interface from Web Page to XI. Also date format error in next 2 messages. So I corrected the date format & execute it again.
    But since from than I am getting " <b>Red Flag</b> " ( <i>Message has error status on outbound side</i> ) under Outbound status. I checked my BPM under MONI also & all the mapping & configuration is fine. Even I made the Overall messages as 1 but still getting the same error.
    I am able to see the correlation ID of message also.
    Pls. suggest.

    Hi
    My Scenario is working now & I am able to correlate the payloads on Vendor Name. But I need to clarify the concept of n:1 Pattern.
    In my multi-mapping occurence of source message is 0 to N & Target message is 1. Now when I am sending the message in this format ( coming from web page when i am clicking the SUBMIT button two times ) :
    <p3:PurOrder_Request_MT xmlns:p3="http://BpmCollectMsg:AsyncSync:AlertMgt">
             <Total_Msgs/>
             <HEADER>
                <DOCDATE/>
                <VENDOR/>
             </HEADER>
             <ITEMS>
                <PURMAT/>
                <NETPRICE/>
                <UNIT/>
                <PRICEUNIT/>
             </ITEMS>
             <Items_Schedule>
                <QUANTITY/>
                <DELIVERYDATE/>
             </Items_Schedule>
          </p3:PurOrder_Request_MT>
    <p3:PurOrder_Request_MT xmlns:p3="http://BpmCollectMsg:AsyncSync:AlertMgt">
             <Total_Msgs/>
             <HEADER>
                <DOCDATE/>
                <VENDOR/>
             </HEADER>
             <ITEMS>
                <PURMAT/>
                <NETPRICE/>
                <UNIT/>
                <PRICEUNIT/>
             </ITEMS>
             <Items_Schedule>
                <QUANTITY/>
                <DELIVERYDATE/>
             </Items_Schedule>
          </p3:PurOrder_Request_MT>
    I am getting results in same format means two different nodes of " PurOrder_Request_MT ".
    But I was expecting results in this format ::
    <p3:PurOrder_Request_MT xmlns:p3="http://BpmCollectMsg:AsyncSync:AlertMgt">
             <Total_Msgs/>
             <HEADER>
                <DOCDATE/>
                <VENDOR/>
             </HEADER>
             <HEADER>
                <DOCDATE/>
                <VENDOR/>
             </HEADER>
             <ITEMS>
                <PURMAT/>
                <NETPRICE/>
                <UNIT/>
                <PRICEUNIT/>
             </ITEMS>
          <ITEMS>
                <PURMAT/>
                <NETPRICE/>
                <UNIT/>
                <PRICEUNIT/>
             </ITEMS>
             <Items_Schedule>
                <QUANTITY/>
                <DELIVERYDATE/>
             </Items_Schedule>
          <Items_Schedule>
                <QUANTITY/>
                <DELIVERYDATE/>
             </Items_Schedule>
          </p3:PurOrder_Request_MT>
    As in target they are coming as two different payloads & I am calling the RFC one time only. RFC is taking the data of first payload only. Right now my scenario is working more as creating a batch of payloads who has same Vendor Name. But my RFC doesn't take batch of payloads.
    Can you pls. explain what exactly the n:1 pattern means.
    Best regards

  • BPM Task payload namespace issue while modifying from ADF UI

    Hi,
    In my BPM process, I have the below tasks.
    1. Input task - user input form
    2. Review task - to review the user input values
    I have created the UI for the above tasks through Auto-generate forms.
    Before invoking Input task, I have created a transformation to initailize the payload elements, so that in the UI these field elements will be become editable.
    I have an ADF table which is used to insert account details elements which is initialized in the transformation with namespace.
    <ns0:bankAccountsType>
    <ns0:registrationNumber></ns0:registrationNumber>
    <ns0:accountNumber></ns0:accountNumber>
    <ns0:bankName></ns0:bankName>
    </ns0:bankAccountsType>
    I am using the createInsert operation of the ADF command button to insert records for these table in UI. The row is getting inserted with values and clicked "Approve" to go to the Review task.
    Now if i check the flow trace for this instance in EM console. ie "Review Task - Instance entered the activity"
    The payload elements for this account types is coming namespace for first record (becoz the row is intialized in BPM transformation) and the second & third record is not showing namespace.
    <ns0:bankAccountsType>
    <ns0:registrationNumber>111111111111111</ns0:registrationNumber>
    <ns0:accountNumber>1111111111111111</ns0:accountNumber>
    <ns0:bankName>qqqq</ns0:bankName>
    </ns0:bankAccountsType>
    <bankAccountsType>
                   <registrationNumber>222222222222</registrationNumber>
                   <accountNumber>222222222222</accountNumber>
                   <bankName>www</bankName>
              </bankAccountsType>
              <bankAccountsType>
                   <registrationNumber>3333333333</registrationNumber>
                   <accountNumber>3333333333</accountNumber>
                   <bankName>sas</bankName>
              </bankAccountsType>
    Is there any way ADF can keep the namespace while adding new items?

    Before invoking Input task, I have created a transformation to initailize the payload elements, so that in the UI these field elements will be become editable.
    I have an ADF table which is used to insert account details elements which is initialized in the transformation with namespace.You can simple use a ADF form to do this. Create ADF editable input fields in a panelFormLayout and wehn user enters values and clicks ona button .. pass those values to BPM payload.

  • Issue in user defined payload search.

    Hi Experts,
    I tried to configure the payload search in SAP PI 7.1 EHP1 ; I followed the guides given in the links given below. After following every step, I am able to view till the last step but I am not able to get any output.
    After I define filter, extractors and prefixes; the filter becomes active. Now if I try to search with the message id I am able to find the values which I required are extracted (as expected). But when I try the same in SXI_MONITOR there is no result. I end up in getting no message available for selection window. I tried every variation which was prescribed in this websites which helped me fine tune my filter but still the error is very much present.
    Could you help me in solving this and throw light on why the test extractor is working but user-defined selection criteria is not working.
    I am using this in lower environment only.

    hi barath,
    Extract during message processing will work for the messages that went through PI after this configuration has been done and it will not work for older messages.
    Extract with External batch job will apply this filter for older messages as well. Bit for achieving this you have to run batch job for program “SXMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGES”.
    We need to run the job for program “SXMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGES”. In SE38 we need to give this program name execute the program and give the date and time.
    after we need to check the messages in SXMB_MONI.
