Payment Advice output according to no. of lines in FBZP - Payment methods -
Hi All
I would like to use the option ''Payment adv after lines' in the Payment advice output according to no. of lines. currently we have 'Always pyt adv' active -- In FBZP - Payment methods for Co code
But I see that the first radio button is disabled. Can anyone let me know how to select this option.

The radio button "Payment adv. after..... lines" is used for "Indicator that determines that a payment advice note is to be printed if more items are paid than there is space fo in the form"
To activate this one, you need to select "restricted to" radio button with number of ROWS you are allowed in "Note to payee lines on the form" area. Then the "Payment adv. after.... lines" get activate and accordingly you can select.

Not getting proper payment advice
Hi,
When we are runing F110, we are not getting proper payment advice.
Vendor getting information on payment advice total of amount paid no invoice details are printing, if vendor having less than 4 line items in payment run.
If vendor having more than 4 line items in payment run vendor getting correct details.
In this every time we have to inform vendor what invoices paid if vendor having less than 4 invoices.
Can anyone help us to resolve this and get correct details of payment advice.

Please check the Payment Advice output control settings for the particular Payment Method and Company Code in FBZP.
I assume that your current configuration reflects "Payment Advice after 4 lines"...which needs to be de-activated and change the setting to "Always Pyt Adv."

you need to create Correspondence for the same and customise the form with the help of ABAPer according to your requirment.
Then use the transaction Code FB03 insert Payment Document and execute Correspondence option from the menu now you need to execute T. Code F.64 for Payment advice outputs.

EBS Payment Advice Post Processing

Can any of you shed some light on me?
When importing electronic bank statements and the system cannot identify the customer/customer invoice, a payment advice notes are generated for receipt from customer. Would you advise 2 scenarios
1. The system created a payment advice without customer number nor reference/document number. the payment advice is manually updated with the reference number wthin FEBAN but it cannot be postprocessed to get the sytem look for the Open customer invoice based on the reference number (invoice number) manually updated. Would it be possilbe for SAP to postprocess it by searching based on the reference/document number entered?
2. Although the customer field within payment advice is populatd with value "*" and this cannot be updated within FEBAN. Would you advise how to update a customer number if known in Payment advice?

taroHi you can assign the customer number in the Alternative account number field, found in the line item section of the Payment advice which was created. You can follow these steps,
Goto -
1) FEBAN - click on the record for which the Payment advice was created.
2) Double click on the Payment advice it will take you to FBE3.
3) Go to change mode, it will ultimately take you to FBE2. There enter the Customer number in the alternative account number field. then save it.
4) Now come back to the FEBAN screen where the record is displayed and there to post it. It will take you to FB05 screen.

Please follow the steps below to find Payment advice Number in FB05 :
Tcode : FB05
1st screen : Enter header data (document date, type, C. Code,...)
1st screen : Check 'Incoming payment'
1st screen : Enter the Posting key and Account for the first line item, then click Enter
2nd screen : Enter data for the first item (Amount, Text,...) then click on 'Choose open items' bouton
3rd screen : in 'Open selection item' there is four selection fields : 'Account', 'Account Type', 'Special G/L ind' and 'Payment advice Number' so there enter your 'Payment advice Number' then click on 'Process open items' bouton to clear it.

Reg: Payment advices, I have the below doubt.
In FBZP, we have Paying company code-->Forms.
Here we can assign a SAP script.This as the help text shows, is meant for Payment advice.
In F110, in Printout/data medium in lists, we have the option to enter a program.
If this is linked to a form, that can also generate payment advices.
So just wanted to know, which is the correct way and which is the procedure that should be used to generate

You need to mention the Form name for Payment Advice in FBZP as well as the program name.
It is standard coding in the program to go and check the Form name in FBZP> Paying Company Codes>Forms>Form for the payment Advice. So there is a purpose for both..
Please note, the Program is not printing the payment advice.. it is in the form and program reads the form name from the node and outputs the Payment advice..

Posting Partial Payments throught incoming REMADV - Payment Advice
Hi ,
I am trying to post payment differences as partial payments whilst processing incoming payment advices via EDI using IDOC message type REMADV.
In table T076A (auto-clearing with payment advice notes), I have configured the company code with payment advice type "06" and set active the flag for "Partial Payments" (XPPMT), However, whilst processing payment advices through RFAVIS40, the payment differences are still posted as Residual Items - and NOT partial payments.
I need the original invoice item open and not cleared - with residual items the original invoice is cleared.
I have seen SAP note 309952, which states that payment advice notes created manually are processed as standard via residual items in case of payment differences. However, in my case, I am posting payment advices created via an IDOC and are of type "06", therefore I am expecting that they should be processed according to the flag in table T076A...i.e with Partial Payments.
Can anyone help with this issue? Or have experienced something similar and came up with a solution..

Split spool for payment advice

I would like to send payment advices to vendors via FAX.
I run the payment program, which triggers a background job and produces 1 spool with payment advices for all the selected vendors.
The faxes cannot be sent. They are blocked because there are many different fax numbers in the spool.
How can I create 1 spool per vendor?
Do you have any experience?

As stated above, if you give 99 lines, it will create a separate payment advice after 99 lines.
Restricted to : you can give the number of line limit.
Payment advice note upwards of ... lines (Check this radio button)
The number of lines on the payment medium where note to payee information for the business partner can be stored is restricted. In the event that more lines are required, a payment advice note is displayed on the payment medium and a separate payment advice note created.
In that case, irrespective of number of vendors, a new payment advice gets generated after 99 lines. I mean if a vendor is having 120 line items, then for 99 one payment advice and 21 lines another payment advice gets generated. I have not tested this. You may please be required to test this.

We are implementing ACH payment method, currently everythign seems to be fine, we are able to e-mail and fax payment advices thru BTE 000002040. I am trying to also be able to print payment advices but can't figure it out. Can anyone tell me what exactly I have to do in order to be able to print payment advices for ACH?

How can you e-mail to multiple e-mails and fax to teh same vendor? I have entered various e-mails in teh master data, but I only get the first e-mail entered, and don't get fax either, I only get 1 option, either e-mail or fax.

During payment processing SAP processes each payment advice note once.
Each time by default it is set to print the payment advice note to
printer. Client had a requirement that they want to be able to email
the payment advice note to vendors directly. We implemented a user
exit and in that user exit we can only change how we deliver payment
advice note (i.e. print or email or fax). In the user exit we
developed we are changing this delivery method to email when there is a
email address in vendor account. This user exit is called every time
we print payment advice notes. We need a way to change the logic to
allow email and print not just either or. To be able to print AND
email we have to trick the system so that it processes the entire
payment advice output again then we have to somehow surpass the user
exit so that it does not change the delivery method and thus prints the
payment advice note rather than emailing it. Thatu2019s where the
complexity comes in. this is a payment run program so there are very
few user exit available and the ones that are there are not useful for
what we want to do. -
Linkage between Payment advice and Invoice
What are the ways in which Payment advice can be linked to A/P invoice? i.e. One remittance advice per invoice OR one remittance advice per vendor for given period, combining all the invoices OR One remittance advice per invoice in case of some vendors and combine the invoices at vendor level in other cases. How flexible is this setting?

this is set in payment run configuration (FBZP), based on payment method and company code. As this is configuration you cannot change this as required.
You could set it for example 1 to 1, menas 1 payment would have 1 advice.
Better probably to set at least 3 payments or more will generate payment advice.
Check payment advice control section in config screen

IDoc, Posting Payments, and Payment Advice
We are receiving payment advices, some referencing the invoice, some referencing the packing slip #.
Our issue is that the ones that come through with the packing slip #, when you post the payment, it does not recognize the line items that reference the packing slip number.
Is there a way to make the posting recognize both the invoice # and the packing slip # for the payment advice?

Payment advice required on ACH file to bank

My client have a requirement to add payment advice to ACH payment file to bank. I'm generating the DME file (ACH payments ) correctly and are able to print payment advices. I want the payment advice to be added to the DME file; When, I unchecked the
the print control for printing payment advices, the payment advices are not added to the ACH or DME file.
If I check the flag "individual payment" on vendor master ( means separate payment for each invoice), then the payment advices are added as a separate record on the payment file. However, we don't want individual payment for each invoice in the case of multiple invoices to the same vendor.
Does any anyone have any idea how to fix this? I search for an OSS note but didn't find any.

Acc to my knowledge, usually we would maintain an advice note against an invoice like a reference. So Std SAP might not able to pick that adivce for multiple invoices. Which might be correct.
I would suggest you take the help of an ABAPer to see from where it picks up the data during the individual payment and if that same field is getting populated during the multiple (which might not be happening).
Please, correct me if my understanding of the process is wrong.

Payment Advice not spooling in SP02
Hi,
Payment advice was not getting spooled in SP02 for BACS Payment Method. However, the payment advice is getting triggered with email. The email is delivering perfectly fine.
Even though I have removed the email address from the Vendor Master and changed the standard communication method from Email to Letter. The user have all sufficient authorization in order to generate a spool request. The payment advice is spooled for any other payment method. This problem is only happening in production. However, the user is able to generate the spool request for BACS payment method in QA and Development.
In the Payment Method for Company Code", I have checked in the check box "Always Payment Advice".
Is there any reason that spool of payment advice should not be triggered.

I'm having a similar error.
Previous and subsequent payment runs were able to generate the payment advice.
However one payment run did not generate the payment advice at all
Here is copy of the payment log of the run NOT generating the payment advice
Here is a copy of the payment log of a previous run that did generate a payment advice.
The only difference between the two runs is the Identification and the Vendor being paid.
I can't figure out why the payment advice won't spool for the one request.
Additionally if it was a momentary glitch, am I able to use "Printout" to generate the Payment Advice only. I know the program will error if you attempt to print the payment medium again.
