Payment Info fouled-up
I just logged-into the Store to buy an album and I was told to update my payment info. Fine. I've moved since my last purchase and needed to do that. However I entered everything in the My Info area and when I went back to buy the window came up again telling me my payment info had changed. I keep entering my info and it won't allow confirmation because it keeps telling me I haven't entered my country, even though my country is down there at the bottom of the page, in bold, and not changable. It's just sitting there declaring the United States. I can't change it if I wanted to. Yet the site ghost won't acknowledge it. Does anyone know how to get around this?

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

Im trying to update my apps and it wont let me. When i clicked on an app to update it or to download a free app it says "sign in required, tap continue and sign in to view your billing information" when i did it says "you must verify your payment info before you can makes purchases" then "security code is invalid" when the security code is valid. I even switched credit card it keeps saying the same thing....... THIS IS NOT FAIR........ I WANNA UPDATE MY APPS!!!!! Btw idk why did i buy the ipad for, APPLE dont even let you download ADOBE FLASH PLAYER and must of the games required ADOBE FLASH PLAYER to play example: wizard101. Idk what i was thinking...... :(
Why not simply remove yoru payment info by selecting None at top?

Just a few minutes ago i tried to purchase from The Simpsons tapped out game, but there were a warning that my purchese was declined and i was asked to re-filled the payment info in order to compete my purchase. I did that but that wont work and the warning keep showing up. Whats wrong? help please.. Is there any correlation with the software update? I did check the update , there is an update for iOS 6.0.1 .

I recently started my apple I'd account and used my wife's bank card for payment info. I then loaded $75 from iTunes gift cards on the account. I was able to make in app purchases, now its telling me to contact iTunes Store support to complete now? Help

I was attempting to make an App store purchase and the App Store required verification of my computer. The information the App Sotre - and ITunes require is the expiration date [ mm / yyyy ] and the security code off the back of my registered credit card. The card is lost - and so is the information. ITUnes will not allow me to change the payment information without verifying my information by - again - including the information from the back of the missing credit card. So I am stuck.

ITunes is asking for payment info for a child's AppleID
All iPads have been updated to OS8. Desktop is waiting for Yosemite. My child (age10) has had an Apple ID for many years with a false birthday. I am trying to get Family Share to work correctly and turn on Ask to Buy. My child is the only member of my Family Share
After browsing support posts, I retroactively changed the date to the youngest possible (age 13) as many other parents have done. Before the Family Share existed, I used to split the AppleID on my child's iPad so that I could share content. Many years ago, when I set up my child's personal AppleID, I set up her iPad with iCloud using her AppleID, and iTunes using mine so that purchases had to be approved and my AppleID could maintain all the kid-friendly content I'd been purchasing for years. When I first set up family sharing, I forgot that iTunes will was using my Apple ID, so when I tried to turn on "Ask to Buy" I got a message saying
"Cannot Enable Ask to Buy"

only on accounts that are not shared.
So I logged out of iTunes on my child's iPad and used her AppleID instead. But then iTunes wanted credit card info for purchases, so obviously iTunes does not recognize that she is a child in my Family Share plan. I can't troubleshoot the problem on my Mac because Yosemite isn't available yet. I opted to leave my child's AppleID logged into iTunes, on her iPad, without payment info. I still get the same message when I try to turn on Ask to Buy for my child from my iPad.
HELP!Run System Profiler. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..."
Check under both Applications and Frameworks for Quicktime. Applications are the actual Player application itself. I believe Frameworks is the underlying system software support. If you see something different there it might be that about which iTunes is complaining. On my computer both say the same, but I'm not having the issue.
I'm guessing here but if you re-installed the system using Archive and Install, your applications were left intact and that's why your Player is 7.7, but all your system software (includingQT framework) was replaced with earlier versions which may be why the you're seeing different versions. iTunes doesn't need the Player, but it does need the underlying QT software. -

How do I get iCloud settings to accept new payment info?
Last evening at 6:54 I received this notification:
On 09/30/2014, we attempted to charge your account for your 20 GB iCloud storage plan, but there is still a problem with your payment information.
"No problem," I said to myself, "that's the card we just cancelled. I'll put a new one in tomorrow.
This morning I discovered that at 1:54am, 7 hours later and in the middle of the night, this came in:
We were unable to successfully bill your payment method. As a result, your 20 GB storage plan has been cancelled effective today and we will no longer bill your payment method.
As aggravating as that is, what's worse is that when I go to iPhone Settings | iCloud | Account | Payment it shows my credit card information but won't allow me to change it.
Anyone have any idea what's going on? I suspect it has something to do with the new iCloud Drive service and Yosemite/iOS8 sync, but....
UPDATE: Managed to update card by going to iTunes | Quick Links | Account and iPhone now shows correct card. But it still won't allow any changes from that iPhone, contrary to instructions at iCloud: View or change your iCloud payment informationWent through a similar iteration of this this morning. Was in the hospital when the email came out saying there was a payment problem. Found out this AM when I looked in my email and saw the cancellation of my 20GB account. Changed the payment info, bought the 20 GB plan...and after a couple of "chats" and phone calls to half-dozen people, was told that the change to 25GB plan was a promotion and since I didn't make it (payment issue), too bad. So.... guess I'm out 5GB. Too bad there wasn't something between the 20GB and the 200GB plans. A.r.g.h.h.h.

I need help with my apps. I try to download apps and I am told to login again. After login then I am to verify my payment info again. Once I do that it tells me my session has timed out.
Could the credit card be expired?
Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.

After establishing the Credit Card account (i.e. after you have made purchases), you can remove the credit card information by editing your payment info, choosing "None".

Can you answer me a question. I clicked on report a problem to see what the page actually said ... and it came up with the details of my last iTunes purchase plus some personal details too. Would you know if this screen automatically throws up the last individual purchase of whoever links to it ... and it is secure.
If this is an abberation would you have a contact link to get immediate attention.

?I'm trying to download a free app and I keep getting a message that says; "Payment Type paypal is not supported on this device blah blah go to the iTunes Store on your computer. You must verify your payment info before you can make purchases. I did all that, updated payment info and checked paypal it is verified, and it still won't work. Im stumped
