Payment information on itv

So I have put in a credit card to view a movie....I hit movie button and then it says payment information required. I have put that in....and still it won't play the movie but keeps going back to the payment info required...and I promise I do have money to watch the movie. I have tried with my other card and it does the same. Is there like a waiting period for it to work?

You need to verify your payment info (including security code) in iTunes on your computer.

  • Payment Information Declined

I'm trying to download some purchased songs onto my laptop but it comes up with a message saying "There is a billing problem with the previous purchase." So I went in to make sure all of my payment information was there but my security code wasn't and it won't let me click on it. Plus when I try to enter it on my phone, it comes up with a message saying "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update your payment method." I know I entered the correct information and I checked my bank account and I have enough money. I don't know what to do!!

    "Symptoms
When there is a mismatch between the iTunes Store's records and your credit card company's records, you will receive an error message stating that your credit card's security code isn't valid or that your zip code does not match your bank's records.
    Resolution
In most cases, this issue is caused by a formatting error in the billing address that you have provided. You can correct the issue by verifying that the information you have provided is correct, or by changing the format of your address to match the format that your credit card company has on file.
You can verify and/or modify your billing address by following these instructions:
Open iTunes.  If you are signed in to iTunes, skip to step 4.
Note: Verify that you are signed in to the correct iTunes account. If you are unsure which account you're signed into, choose Store > Sign Out and proceed to step 2.
    Choose Store > Sign In.
Enter your account name and password, then click the Sign In button.
Choose Store > View My Account.
Click the Edit Payment Information button.
In the Payment Method section, choose None.
Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.
Click the Edit Payment Information button again.
Enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.
Select your credit card type in the Payment Method section.
Enter your credit card information, your card's security code, and the expiration date.
Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file."

  • How can I change payment information if I lost my credit card and its security code so I can keep buy pertinent apps?, How can I change payment information if I lost my credit card and its security code so I can keep buy pertinent apps?

I purchased a macbook pro but couldnt download apps. Facts:
    1. I already have an apple ID with my Ipad, which has my old (prepaid) credit card number and security code as payment information
    2. I lost my credit card including all info: card number, expiry, security card. I also didnt store it anywhere else and the CC company doesnt have my security code either because it's a prepaid/loadable card (not a real credit card).
    3.  I purchased a Macbook Pro and tried putting in new payment info. It didnt push through as it was asking me to key in my lost security code number
    4. I opened my ipad and it was asking for the same thing bec my apple ID was accessed elsewhere with the attempt to change my payment info.
    5. I couldt download and purchase apps because of this, i havent downloaded pertinent software for my new computer.
Could you please help me resolve this problem?
    Thank you very much

  • I can't rent movies now, because I'm getting a message that I need to "go to the itunes store on my computer and verify my payment information. But it is all correct and I don't have any problems buying anything else but movies on Apple TV? What can I do?

Apple can't seem to help me with this verification of payment information message that I'm getting when I try to rent a movie. My payment information is correct, and they don't have any issues billing me for anything else. What can I do?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Can't Remove Credit Card Payment Information.

I recently left a family in Family Sharing so that I could disconnect my credit card information from my iTunes account. I had selected 'leave family' and 'stop family sharing', yet when I access my Apple ID via the iTunes App, it still says I am part of a family and denies me the ability to select 'none' under payment information. In my iPod settings, it says I am not part of a family; yet, in iTunes, it says I am.
TL;DR: iTunes thinks I am still part of Family Sharing and won't allow me to remove my credit card payment information.

    Hello StealthBadger25,
After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning leaving Family Sharing. You may want to review the steps in the article to remove yourself from the account:

  • How do I delete payment information from my Apple ID

I know that in the previous versions you were able to just click on the box that said none and that would be it, but, in the newest version I cannot delete my payment information. I am asking this, because my brother put a Visa gift card on my account and the gift card was used up and I want to take it out, but I can't. It also says that I owe iTunes $17.56. I don't know why I have to owe iTunes money either. SOMEBODY HELP

If you owe any money, you cannot simply remove your CC details.
You need to add a valid credit card.
It also says that I owe iTunes $17.56. I don't know why I have to owe iTunes money either.
You have to owe it because there was a purchase. That's how sales work.
Whether you actually owe it, depends on if you made the purchase or not.
Check you purchase history. See this -> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
If you did not make a purchase that shows up, report it.

I cancelled a payment through PayPal. How do I update the payment for that charge?  I looked at my payment information and it has my credit card information.  I'm not sure where to update the payment that was associated with my PayPal account?  I am not sure what that paid for?  I am trying to process updates on my IPhone & IPad for apps. I have already downloaded.

Hi Xellana, and a warm welcome to the forums!
I'm looking for information and pricing on possibly upgrading the processor from the PowerPC to Intel.
While anything is possible if you had enough money... NOPE, you can't change the CPUs to Intel, nor can you get any faster PPC upgrades for it. It'd be far cheaper to buy a new IntelMac than to replace everything inside the G5, and I mean just about everything, then figure out how to machine the case & such to mount Intel Logic Board, Graphic Card & such.
    Sorry.

  • Family sharing not sharing payment information

Family sharing not sharing payment information
We have two iPhones on iOS 8. Previously my Apple ID was logged into my wife's phone for iTunes and app purchases to share purchases (she's had her own apple is for iCloud all along) . I set up family sharing, on my phone first. I'm the organizer. I invited my wife, switched her Apple ID in settings in iTunes and app purchases to her own Apple ID. Both of us can see we are in the family in iCloud settings. But in the iTunes part it looks like normal, with seperate accounts. If we view purchase in the App Store both accounts are listed (and looks like both accounts show all the same apps that I've purchased previous to setting this up).
    Is that right?
More importantly when I go to make an iTunes purchase on my wife's phone, it doesn't try to use any shared payment. It wants to update HER credit card on her account.
My phone says the credit card is shared.
What setting have I missed here?
And I keep seeing this question asked but no clear answer. Will she loose access to any apps or music purchased before the family? They all show under her account now. Apple said somewhere that a legacy account would be allowed. I'm afraid to play too much with it after hearing people are getting locked out for a year.
    Thanks for any help!!

Your purchases will be charged against the Organizer's charge card on file, but they will reside under the Apple ID that you are purchasing them under (so if later, you were to leave Family Sharing, they would be "owned" by your Apple ID). If you have a gift card on file for your Apple ID, it will take the funds from the gift card first before going to the Organizer's charge card, but the entire set-up of Family Sharing is one that is designed to charge all purchases against the Organizer's card on file.
How is the set-up invasive, exactly? Family Sharing is primarily designed for families, especially ones with small children. The FAQs and ad pages are very clear about the fact that the Organizer pay for all purchases:
