Payment Information Required
Every time i try and buy or 'purchase' an app it says "payment information required" and i dont want to use a credit card, just vouchers but i cant use my money on itunes and i also cant see how much i have in my account.
Can Anyone Help?
My Amex card came back as declined when I tried to buy the iworks for ipad apps
Amex didn't even see the attempt to charge
Tried a different card, same thing
logged a ticket, a human is now looking into the problem
we'll see... they seem to be very slow at responding at the moment (compared to snafu'd purchases) so maybe we are the tip of the iceberg!

I Don't know what to do, can't download any app in all my apple devices !
I Opened they'd purchased history from the laptop once as before a year or couple of years I purchased some apps from another countries and I didn't install them again but later on my iPhone, this problem raised and the authentication is required for the payment and I DID NOT BUY ANY this problem driven me crazyYou need to verify your payment info (including security code) in iTunes on your computer.

I'm not sure what you are asking exactly, but the accepted forms of payment are listed online at

Note that there is no "bill me later" sort of option - you must enter one of the accepted forms of payment to be charged at the time of purchase. -
So I have put in a credit card to view a movie....I hit movie button and then it says payment information required. I have put that in....and still it won't play the movie but keeps going back to the payment info required...and I promise I do have money to watch the movie. I have tried with my other card and it does the same. Is there like a waiting period for it to work?
You need to verify your payment info (including security code) in iTunes on your computer.

I am trying to rent a movie on my Apple tv keep getting the message - verification required before you can make purchases you must go to the itunes store on your computer and verify your payment information
ThanksHave you paired your Apple Tv with your iTunes account? That's how rentals and purchases are billed. If, however, you have already done that it is possible that there is a glitch in the system. I've had that happen occasionally and it usually goes away if I reset Apple Tv. On one occasion that I didn't work so I had to go to iTunes and deauthorize and then authorize this computer. Also, check to see if your Home Sharing is on (under File in iTunes). Hope that helps.

Each time I attempt to rent a movie via AppleTV, I get an error message stating: Verfication required; go to iTunes on your computer to verify payment information. How do I do this once I'm on my Account in iTunes???
On iTunes, select "iTunes Store" in the sidebar. Then select your ACCT up at the top left of the window then you'll see ACCOUNT and you can EDIT and change your charge cards, etc.

My apple tv appears to work fine, watching netflix and other apps. but when I try to rent an itunes movie I receive the Security Information Required message. I have sharing turned on, the apple tv and macbook are logged into the same apple ID.
WTH?
pretty frustrated.It's telling you to verify your payment details. You need to go into iTunes on your computer and check that your address and credit card info are accurate. You will also need to make sure you have put in your security code.

I want to get the Oracle supported Public API/Interface name to import the payment information against invoices(because there is a need to importing payment data against closed invoices from 11.5.5 to R12). recently i have bought a new ipad (its my first Apple product) and i gave this ipad to my kids to use it so after a while my kid wanted to download a game and it required that i add my payment info. so i did and we downloaded the game but after i while i noticed that ABOUT 100 dollars were reduced from my internet visa and that was when i found that my son was buying game coins without him realising that he is paying real money to get them , so i tried removing my payment information but it wouldnt let me too! so help me please on how could i remove my payment info.

If you do not have a rescue email address (different from alternate email address) set up on the account, you will need to contact iTunes Support online: http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html (select Account Security as your help topic) or by phone: Apple Support Numbers
If you do have rescue email address set up:
Go to http://appleid.apple.com. Underneath where it says “Already have an Apple ID?," click Manage your Account. You will then need to sign in. If you forgot your Apple ID or password, click on the appropriate "Forgot..." link below either of these fields.
After you sign in, click on "Passwords and Security" on the left.
You will be asked to answer the security questions, but you should also notice a link below the second "Answer" field offering to send reset instructions to your rescue email address that you provided.
Check the Inbox of your rescue email address. The email should appear within a minute or two. If it does not, be sure to check Spam. If it is not there either, you can repeat the above process to resend. Once you get the email, following the link will take you to a page where you must sign in again.
