Payment Lot-Posting incomplete but posted a FICA document

Hello,
A payment lot was created with the status "Posting incomplete" and there were few items in the  "Not posted" list. When checked one of the accounts, the FICA document was posted for payment, but was NOT referring to the payment lot. The account maintenance happened during the posting and cleared the open items. When tried to close the payment lot and transfer the to GL it failed due to the recon key in the reserved status.  I re-posted the lot which updated with the status "Postings made". The non-posted items got new FICA document and it got updated in the Payment lot item. Now there are 2 payment documents in the account with the same amount.
There is no job failure or any information in the application log. I checked the system log and ST22, but no help.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
The most common reason for the Incomplete status of the Payment lot is at times during the processing of the payment lot, System does not get sufficient background processes and then in that scenario goes into a incomplete state.
Make sure that when you are processing the payment lot, no other back ground jobs are running,so that payment lot gets all the background processes for posting the payment lot.
Moreover, if such scenario happens, just click on the "Post" button.
Once you do that the status will change from Incomplete to "Direct Postings Stopped".
Don't worry on the status, System starts posting the items once again.
Once its completed, you will find the status as Postings made or Postings made, post processing is required.
I think it might be something related to System issue rather than a functionality issue.
Had it been a functional issue, you would not be able to post the payment lot

  • Cannot delete payment lot

    While posting a payment lot, it encountered an error and short dumped.  We checked every accounts and not a single payments were posted.  We created a new lot and it posted successfully.
    How can we delete the payment lot that short dumped to ensure that it will not be posted in the future?  We are getting the message "Payment lot xxxxxx cannot be deleted under current status".

    Hi, normally you should have you payment upload if you used program RFKKZE00 lot in error in trnasaction FPB4 or in FPB3 (Use flag P_XCONT equal ot X). You have to complete the creation of the lot or change the status of you lot to ' 'Payment can be added, then you can delete it in FP05 in the menu 'Payment lot'. As long yout payment lot is in status 6 'Payment lot is incomplete' you can do anything with it.
    If you've upload you payment lot using multicash, check transaction FPB8 or FPB17, you have to complete the upload of the lot to then delete it, be careful on what you put in the option around Create Lot, Close Lot, etc...

  • FP05 payment Lot

    Hi
    I created a payment lot (FP05) with many items. After closing and posting it, one of these items is not posted. After analyzing, I found that this item was created by mistake. How can I remove this one from this payment lot? or how this item will be invalid?.

    Hi Said.
    If you want to keep the same payment lot, then you can use the post online functionaly and post the item into the bank clearing account:
    - start FP05, enter the payment lot ID, display it, select the item you want to clarify and choose "clarify"
    - select option "post online"
    - the false item should be visible in the view - now enter another item with all the same data, except for the negative amount
    - post it
    In general, I dont think you can remove an item from payment lot after its being posted. Another possibility is reversing the reconciliation key for that payment lot (using FP08M), and using another posting lot without the payment entered by mistake.

  • Payment Lot

    Dear Friends,
    I am getting the following error  for the Payment lots( Cash and Cheque) generated by Cash Desk when I try to close them using tcodes FP05 or FP25 the next day.
    "Lot for payments using Cash desk
    Reserved lot, no manual entry of payments
    Payment lot is incomplete"
    I am able to close the lots on the same day using 'Lot Mangement' function in Cash Desk.
    Can any of you help me ?

    I have gone through the program & functionality of FPCD.
    My understanding is that Previous days lots are not visible in FPCD.
    However, in data base table DFKKCDLOTS you can find all the lots created for Cash desk.
    Take the lots from it and go to Function Module <FM> FKK_CJ_CLOSE_PAYMENT_BATCH using SE37.
    Press F8 and give above lot <one by one> and press F8 again.
    This closes the lot <you can view the changed message in FP05 before and after the closure>.
    This is workaround to close the lots in FPCD.
    I did not see any standard procedure to close the lots.
    May be you can write a 'Z' program to automate them using above logic.

  • Cash Payment Posting - Incorrect payment lot item

    I get the following errors when posting a cash payment file automatically through rfkkze0. I know the file is good because I post it in 2 other environemnts w/o problem. I think I have a configuration issue but don't know what it is. Any help is apprecuiated.

  • How to add additional payment line to a posted payment lot

    Hi Gurus,
    I have to add a new payment line to a payment lot which is already being posted.
    I will pick one document from table DFKKZP for the specified payment lot. Then I need to post another document with the same details as the document I have picked. Only thing I need to change is the price to a constant value to 1.

    Hi.. I forgot to mention I have preordered the iphone 6 plus which is why I wanted to get some of the credit cards I use frequently added and ready to go before the apple-pay launch. Does anyone know if your payment settings in itunes let you add more than one payment option? The instructions I have seen state that you can add your additional credit cards through either the Apple store, or itunes. I have only attempted through the store unsuccessfully, not itunes.

    No , My scenario is to send data from sql server to Sap ISU using XI/PI 7.0. Where we have to post my data to a Transtion code FP05. I am unable to find out the structure where FP05 Transtion store the data or wether we have to create a IDOC or BAPI for that transtions .There is millions of data so we have to automate this process using PI.

    Could you please enlighten me on the use of Payment transaction check box in posting key configuration screen.
    I would like to know what impact does it have if its checked and if unchecked.
    In F1 help its mentioned, Set this indicator in the posting keys for incoming payments, outgoing payments, payment differences (residual items) and payment clearing. - but I am need to know in which scenario this check box plays a role and its affect.

    Hi,
    Generally Payment Transaction checkbox will be checked for Payment Documents. Ex: PK -25 (Outgoing payment) and PK-35 (Incoming payment)
    Payment Transaction checkbox will be unchecked for Invoice Documents. Ex PK-01 (Sales Invoice) and PK-31 (Purchase Invoice)
    In this case, Default Payment Terms will be picked by system automatically at the time of invoice posting.

  • Picking up wrong segment value during FICA document Posting

    Hi,
    When we are posting any FICA-document manually(FPE1) the segment is getting drived corrcectly for the line items, but issue is happening when the document is getting posted during Invoicing. Everytime it fetchs a default value for segment irrespective of posting area.
    Please suggest.

    Sorry if im not  being clear...
    My point is: the difference rates customization for payments is done at FBZP.
    At Paying Company Codes, you have 4 flags for exchange rates differentes.
    At Control Data look:
    *Do not Post any Exchange Rate Differences:
    If the indicator is not set, the difference between the exchange rate at the time of posting and the exchange rate at the time of payment is determined for items which are posted in foreign currency. The payment program uses the translation rate in the currency table in the system for this purpose.
    *No Exchange Rate Differences for Partial Payments:
    Has the effect that the payment program for partial payments (requests for payment using transaction F-59) does not post exchange rate differences.
    *Processing of Bill of Exchange Payments:
    *Separate Payment for each Payment Reference

    I live in China as well and my iPhone5s is the model A1530 I bougth outside China. I have the same problem as Nikatnight with the iPhone while the iPad Air (wifi only) is working like a charm. It must be definitely something related to the carrier since I was abroad few days ago and everything worked well.
    If you pay attention at the source of your maps, you'll discover they are provided by AutoNavi instead of TomTom and make them appear in chinese with their own border interpretation. Queries are only acceppted in Chinese (p.e. if I type in english "Los Angeles International Airport"  it replies it cannot locate it)
    I suppose everything will be fine when you'll be out of censorship....
    Perhaps iOS  Apple Maps are absolutely useless for expatriate in China.
    Use Google Maps instead
    BTW, I'm surprised how much Apple might prostrate towards hard power Governments.... No matter what, money are always on top!

    Is there any ways to input information in payment lot items and it pass to text field in each FICA document (table DFKKKO, DFKKOP, DFKKOPK)?
    Currently I can only input such information in usage text and it keep in table DFKKZP.

    I have to use receipt number generated from agency as an official document number of payment document.

    The event 0020 doesn't have T_FKKZP. Is it the event that you are referring or some thing else?

    I too have a similar kind of requirement. The value that is entered in DFKKZP-INFOF need to be populated into DFKKOP-OPTXT. Though you are getting the value of DFKKZP through the global variable, where you are modifying the DFKKOP? Are you doing this modification in some other event?

  • Payment Medium Workbench -  Group by Posting Date

    I have made a medium format with DMEE Engine but it doesn't work as I would like.
    I want to have a file with all items group by posting date (subtotals group by posting date, no depends on vendor).
    I have 2 leveles:
       - Level 1: Repetition Factor 1          and Key Field FPAYP-FAEDT (Posting Date)
       - Level 2: Repetition Factor 999999 and Key Field FPAYP-DOC2R (Document unique key)
    However when I execute F110 transaction it generates different files, WHY?
    One file per vendor and posting date, but I WANT TO HAVE A UNIQUE FILE.

    Ok, the problem has been fixed.
    The repetition factor for level 1 (Posting Date) should be 9999999 instead of 1, beacuse it refers to input data and it doesn't refer to output data.
    We can have differents posting dates in input data, but we want to have a unique line by posting date in output data.

    In FICA while making payment through the payment lot MAIN/ SUB Transaction is  getting picked up automatically eg) PAYM/VOAC, PAYM/ACCO adn so on..
    Can some body tell me how the main/sub is getting picked?
    Where it is configured??

    Hey Mary Lee.
    Connecting the open items with the payments is done via Note to payee functionality. You can chech that in Financial Accoutning (New) – Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable – Business Transactions – Payments – Processing Incoming and Outgoing Payments – Define Interpretation Rules for Note to Payee (and the following programs in IMG, where you can test your setting).
    Using that functionality, you can define how will you "read" the note to payee field from the electronic bank statement (you have that field in the MT940 file format, if youre using it; if youre using the local country file convertor, then you have to check which fields get written in the needed field) and how will you extract the data to identify the open item. For example, you can use the document number, or the combination of contract account and reference document number, or any other solution that fits your business scenario.
