Payment option 'none' disappeared when creating account

When creating a new iTunes account, the option to select no payment option ('none') has disappeared. The only options available are Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
Have tried this on both an iPad an an iPhone and the option is not available.
I've created a number of accounts over the past 2/3 weeks and the option was available then.
Anyone else having this problem or know what we can do about this?

Did you create a new account using an email address not used with Apple before?
Maybe your county does not allow a None.
I am in the US and created a None account using those instructions.

Archive the contacts you have in Address book, then delete them, they will be removed from iCloud as well. Restore the archive

Do you have a credit card, or a different debit card that you could try (some are apparently still accepted in India) ?

I want to check the field of Goods Receipt, Non-Valuated when i create PO with ME21N.
It require as plant and Account assignment category
For example, plant A and account assignment category (K), I want to check it.
How can I do this?
Please help me.

No need for any user exit , you can copy the account assignment category "K" and make your own , in that account assignment category you can tick "GR-Nonvaluated" , then whenever you create a PO with this category "GR-Non Valuated" will come ticked automatically.

Images Disappear when creating PDF

When creating a PDF out of InDesign we are having issues with images diappearig when Postscript Overprint / Overprint Preview is on. When printing images also do not show up. When viewing in Reader Images do not show up. Has anyone run into this issue, we are running CS3 & CS4. Any help will be appreciated

Most likely cause is that the images are set to non-printing in some way, either inidvidually through the Atrributes Panel, or they're on a layer that is set to non-printing.

I do not have a credit card to put in my apple id. I am trying to set up my ipad and it wont let me move on. I was able to do it on the iphone i have but dont remember how i did it. Please help. NO bank account either.

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (very important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

Files disappear when creating a new folder

I'm new to mac....got a macbook this week. I'm in Iraq so I have very limited access to anything. No internet for my mac at the moment...so I can't update even if there are ones. I assume I have the currenct version of everything though. The question...
While switching over my files I decided to reorganize them. I'm working on my external HD and creating many new folders for all my files. On numerous occasions now (4) I have created a new file the standard way...right click>new>file...then named it. On these occasions I have done this it has renamed the previous file I had worked in (even though it was not selected) and then the contents of the file disappeared. This leaves me with the new file I created and another identical file of the same name...now with nothing in it. Some of my files I have backed up, but the last one deleted many videos that I didn't. Happens randomly at no particular time. If I select the file and view its contents often it will briefly change its name back to the original name, but still nothing in it. Then next selection of anything will switch it back. Have not been able to fine the files anywhere. Tired of losing my files. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Changing the names of items
You can easily change the name of a file, folder, or disk on your computer.
IMPORTANT: To avoid problems using Mac OS X or applications on your computer, don't move or change the names of folders that came with your system (such as the Library folder or your home). You should also not change the names of applications or items associated with specific applications. If you accidentally change the name of an installed item and you experience problems, you can change the name back.
Locate the item you want to rename on your desktop or in a Finder window.
Click the item to select it, then click the name. The name is highlighted and you will be able to edit it.
Type the new name and press Return.
Some document names have a file extension, such as ".txt" or ".jpg." If you change the name of a file and delete the extension, some applications may no longer recognize the file. To ensure the file can be recognized by the application that created it, change only the part of the name that comes before the extension, or open the file using the appropriate application, then save the file with a new name.
You cannot change the name of an item in the Finder window's sidebar. You must locate the item on your desktop or in a Finder window to highlight and change the name.

I realize that's a lot to digest and your time might be limited. This is something that only takes a few minutes and might help immediately.
Go to MacintoshHD/Applications/Utilities and locae Disk Utility. Launch DU, select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left and then click: Repair Disk Permissions. Depending on the size of your drive, it should only take a few minutes. When it's finished, Quit Disk Utility from the Menu.
Here's how to find out exactly which Mac OS you are running. Click the Apple logo top left of your screen then click, About This Mac. A pane will open. Just under "Mac OS X" will be the version number. ie., 10.4.x

Sync Setup gives unknown error when creating account

Getting "unknown error" when trying to setup sync account. i have the latest version of firefox. i cleared the cache. I did a factory reset. none of it worked.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

'Session timeout" appears when creating account

I am trying to create an iTunes account because I bought an iTunes gift card. Every time I try to create an account in the Music Store, and straight after I have accepted the terms and conditions, a screen comes up saying "Session timeout". I have never even logged in before and no one on my computer ever has. I have downloaded the newest version of iTunes, and done all the relevant connectivity tests etc. What can I do??

Sorry, figured out my error: on the authentication page for session verify function I had to specify:
return session_timeout;
Then it worked as expected. Verified the cookie by creating a pl/sql region to fetch the cookie value and display on the page.

Icons disappear when creating a jar file.

I am trying to make a runable jar file of an application that i wrote however, when i export it from eclipse the icons no longer appear. All of the icons are contained in a class called gridGui. Any help would be great.

You are using the ImageIcon constructor that takes a file name argument. When you create the jar file the source for the images are no longer files but entries in your jar file. You have to access them using the ImageIcon constructor that takes a URL argument.
The actual URL you use is obtained (eg) from the Class method [getResource()|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/Class.html#getResource(java.lang.String)].
Suppose your Fifty_Cents.gif was in your jar file in the folder "images" then you could say:
Icon fiftyCents = new ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("/images/Fifty_Cents.gif");Note the use of forward slashes and the fact that Fifty_Cents.gif has to be capitalised exactly as it is within the jar file.
There are other ways of organising the resources - see the getResource() documentation for details.

Error when creating account aliases

Iam trying to create an new account aliases in INV but iam getting the foll error,
This combination of segment values already exists. (ROUTINE=fdfvcc).
Tried looking for any aliases been defined but nothing has been set.Can anyone let know which causes this error.

Issue has been solved as there were 2 users on the same name.I had to create a preferred name for one of the user in HRMS assignment tab which differentiates the two users.

Layers disappear when creating a symbol

Hello,
I've created a symbol using several layers, however when I play the composition back, nothing is visibile. What am I missing? The symbol is made up of 2 lines that sprint out from another object.

Yes you can edit your symbols. Right click on the element panel and chose edit symbol. Remember that like in Flash, all instances will be changed to the new edit.
