  • Dunning letter (wizzard) and payment options

    Hi there,
    we have got some trouble with the dunning wizard. e.g. we have got 4 type of different payment options:
    - collection authorization
    - bank transfer
    - reserve invoice, it means payment before delivery by bank transfer
    - cash on delivery by the postman
    So far so good. of course cash on delivery and reserve invoices should not be dunned. If i start the dunning wizard differs between collection authorizations and cash transfer; the cash transfer invoices are dunned, the authorization collection invoices aren't dunned.
    But the reserve invoices and the cash on delivery invoices are dunned, too. Is there a possibility in the payment methods, that these won't be dunned.

    Do customers always use a specific payment method? If so, you can block dunning per customer under the accounting tab of BP master for customers that get reserve invoices for example. The other option is to change your dunning terms to start a few days later. Are there terms of less than 15 days from posting date, and in this case are there customers getting reserve invoices that take more than 15 days to pay for example? You can try changing customer terms to a longer period for due date to exclude them from dunning as well.
    Let me know what your payment terms are for reserve invoice customers, and the dunning terms you are using.

    If it is in your itunes on your computer, then select it to sync just like everything else that you sync.
    The music must be on your computer.

  • How to update apple account payment options

    Of all the items of help I cannot locate how to change the payment options on my apple/itunes account.
    I'm fairly certain it is currently being directed to an account I have closed.
    But no amount of typing in payment options or itunes payment has rendered anything useful.
    There must be a location that will allow changes as needed. Really how can this be so difficult?

    Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is  critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID. 
    You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

    How did you solve it? I just waited until my credit card expired and kept a gift card balance always running so that I did not have to give them my personal credit card info. They admitted to almost and/or being hacked so why not aloow PayPal or using a credit card without keeping its info?

  • Additional payment options for Family Sharing I wish....

    I was not aware that each purchase would be billed to my credit card regardless of my iTunes balance. I knew I would be paying for all purchases, but not being able to use my account balance to pay it is extremely annoying. Prior to Family Sharing being available all their devices were under my id. So any gift cards they received were redeemed under my account. Now I have their money and can't use it to buy their things.
    My mistake for not following every link on the Family Sharing info page, but I read that I would be charged for purchases. I thought it would be the same way as any purchase I made (balance, then credit card).....
    I wish:
    There should be an option for:
    1) those who have a credit card be able to use it if they aren't on the "ask to buy" restriction. This includes both adults and other teens.
    2) as the Organizer--give me a choice on how I want to pay for the purchases. If i want to use my own balance, I should be allowed to.
    3) if this is how it's going to stay, then I should have the option as the organizer to transfer my balance to individual family sharing members as I see fit. Or allow me to 'gift' them the balance. Right now you can't use iTunes balance to buy a 'gift'.

    These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
    Backup the library with this User Tip.
    Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
    Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
    Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
    Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
    Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
    I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
    Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should  merge the existing data from the device.
    If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
    Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

  • How do I change my payment method to none in the App Store? I can't update my app because I need to fill in another payment option. My original payment option was a gift card which, I believe, no longer has money anymore.

    On this page http://www.sedonamagoretreat.org/volunteer-retreat-test-page please see the form at the bottom of the page. The option to pay with a credit card works just fine. But if I select the "Free" payment option and click the Submit button, I get the message ERROR: An error occurred. Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed via the online shop.

    I solved this myself, with some help from tech support, so I'm posting this for anyone who is trying to accomplish the same setup.
    Per Business Catalyst tech support:
    "I checked the concern you have reported, to confirm you with the same.
    You may use the free=10 payment method for shopping cart, when any gift voucher or discount coupon reduces the amount to zero.
    I understand the option you looking for, however, its not possible to achieve the same within Bc using free payment method. You may try some customization , Unfortunately, HTML / CSS / JavaScript and Site implementation related issues are outside the scope of our support boundaries. However, you may like to post this on our support forums as well, where a member of our helpful community may be able to assist - http://forums.adobe.com/community/business_catalyst"
    So instead of using the "Free" payment option, I used "Cash." It's not a perfect setup, but it works for now.
    Be sure to use <div id="paymentdiv"> wrapped around the payment-related fields and insert the following script to hide the payment fields if they don't select payment by credit card:

    You can try to (re)install the current Firefox 17.0.1 release if it isn't working with the current Firefox 18 beta

    I am desperate right now. I'm not sure if I got myself into some real trouble since I got the in-app and it works fine, but the purchase did not show up.   • How to remove my payment option on iTunes App Store and iTunes on the iPhone?

    I've had this problem many times and eventually it would just work out after a week or so but I'm tired of that so here's what happens: I use prepaid credit cards for iTunes (I've also used a real credit card and had the same problem) and when they max out or run out of funds it will ask me to verify my payment information. So I sign in and it takes me to the page to update the info I update it to make sure there wasn't just an error and if it says something is wrong I know it's maxed/out of funds. And I'm not allowed to download any apps (including free ones and updates for apps I already own) while this happens. There is no option to remove my payment option, before after about a week of continuously returning to the payment page everytime I try to download/update an app a "none" option will appear below the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX credit card type however the option is never there for around the first week and is very frustrating. So how do I get the none option to appear ? Or remove a used/maxed credit/pre paid credit card ?

  • Is there a pre-payment option for the iPad 4G LTE?

    Hello Everyone,
      I was told that the iPad has a pre-payment option. However, when I talked to a few operators (I got dropped twice, thanks to ATT), but all of them had mentioned a pre-payment option. The reason why this interests me is because I am a very frugal person so I like the idea that I don't have to use all my data allowance all in that one month. What I had been told was that I can actually purchase 3gigs of data, pay for it, and not have to worry about that sneaky recurring, monthly payments. In addition, I was told that there is no expiration date for that 3gigs, and that if it takes me three months to go through the 3 gigs, then I am allowed that time. Versus the regular monthly plan that has no rollover. If you don't use the 3 gigs by the month's time, you lose it. I would so prefer to have the pre-payment option therefore, since I can use up every last kilobyte, instead of conserving only to have the next month arrive and lose whatever I had.
