You can configure the DME format in the below path:- (You can get the GDFF format from your bank and define it here)
SPRO > Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Outgoing Payments > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment Media > Data Medium Exchange
Then configure it in the below path:-
SPRO > Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Outgoing Payments > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment Media > Make Settings for Payment Medium Formats from Payment Medium Workbench

  • Payment Engine - Bank file format Westpac

    Hi,
We have a client who cannot load a bank file to Westpac (2007 A PL 05). They need to manually remove the balancing line and adjust the line count, before uploading.
The problem appears to be that Westpac does not accept the self balancing line. Other application like MYOB have an option to include or exclude this line.
Can anyone help as to how this is possible to remove this balancing (CREDITOR) line in the SAP generated file.
    Kind Regards,
    Eric

    Francesca,
The file path that you select is only for that particular transaction and not a global setting that gets saved.  So there might not be a way to make the system remember the path.
Secondly about the filename to be automatically name to avoid overwriting is something you would have to handle outside of SBO.  May be like a small system program.

  • Payment proposal has been created - error

    Hi Gurus,
I have an issue in F110. I currently have 2 payment methods set up i.e. method E - Electronic and method T _ Telegraphic. Both were working until yesterday. Today, only method T works , and the only obvious difference is that no variant is selected for this method in print-out/medium.
The proposal merely stops at "Payment proposal has been created""
    Any ideas?
    Regards

Have you checked that both payment method area assigned in the variant in "Printout" tab.
Also do a "Printout" again and check the logs.

  • Outgoing Payment File Format for US

Is there a default file format available for exporting payments to a file for the US? I have a customer with this requirement and with my lack of understanding of US requirements, it will take me a long time to create one from start.
I would appreciate any assistance any one can provide?
    Thanks

You can download an xsd file from http://www.iso20022.org/message_archive.page?, then search for the format you need ( mine was PAIN.001.001.03).
This can be imported into EFM, then  mapped as required.
Note that I did have to modify the xsd file, as the IBAN field was not set with min / max making it mandatory, but is not required in US.
Hope this saves someone else the 20 + hours I put into this!

  • Lockbox Process, Configuration, Lockbox File format

    Hi everybody,
I need a help on lockbox documents. Pls send.
    Regards,
    JC

    hi
Lockbox is a process provided by a bank where the customer remits his payment to a PO Box at your bank, the bank deposits the check in your account and enters the remittance data from the customer. Then the bank sends the data to you electronically for you to import and apply in SAP-AR.
The structure that the bank uses is usually one of two formats. BAI will provide you the customer information and the check amount but no invoice remittance data. Usually cheaper and works well for a business where customers are paying only one invoice at a time.
BAI-2 offers remittance data but the bank charges more for the service because they have to enter more info.
Look at structures FLB** to see the transfer data.
When the bank sends the customer payment data you use Treasury function FLB2 to import and then process the payments. This process attempts to determine where to apply the payment and will post directly against an invoice, an account to a customer or if it can't even determine the customer it posts into a clearing account (configured) to be resolved.
    Purpose
Lockbox is a service offered by American banks in which banks collect and process customer payments to reduce processing time. The system can handle both lockbox file formats offered by banks, namely, BAI and BAI2.
    Process Flow
A company can create accounts called ‘lockbox’ accounts at its bank (or banks) that act as payment collection accounts for customer payments.  The company then informs their customers that all open item payments for their accounts must be submitted to one of the established bank lockbox accounts.  The bank collects these payments along with the customers’ remittance information that indicates what open items the customer payments intend to clear.  Data entry clerks at the bank manually enter the information into an electronic file for transmission to the company to which the lockbox account belongs. These files are typically transferred nightly to the various lockbox owners (companies).  The files adhere to one of two standard banking industry transmission formats (BAI and BAI2), both of which are supported in the system.
BAI and BAI2 formats differ in their level of information detail.  BAI does not separate out the incoming check line items by invoice subtotal reference.  Conversely, BAI2 splits the check total into separate invoice references and associated payment amounts. As a result, your ‘hit rate’ percentage of payment-invoice matching from each transmission is likely to be higher when using BAI2 rather than BAI formats.

  • Edit standard bank-file formats Payment Engine

    Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to edit the standard bank-file formats for payment engine?
In swedish format is not correct in 8.81 PL06
All the formats are in dll-format...
We do not want to recreate a standard format from scratch

    Hi Anders,
It seems the .dll formats used for the payment engine are superceded by the new formats created in the EFM Format Definition.
There appears to be no assistance available from anyone to convert the existing formats and I have found no documentation that aids the creation of new formats that will link to the Payment Engine.
If you have found any way around this, please share?
    Thanks
The note referred to by Jitin explains how to amend existing BPP formats, of which there are none unless you have created one, and the suggestion to obtain them from support will get you sent back to the forums for support....

  • Process to map payment data in soft file format into SAP ISU

    Hi Experts,
I am preparing TO BE documentation for a power sector client. Currently payment is received in soft file format through below medium -
    ·       Internet Payment Via payment gateway Bill desk.
    ·       Payment using ATM Machines
    ·       Payment Thru Easy Bill Pay option.
Than currently data is downloaded (CCR for internet, ATM) and entries are posted in cash book.
Can someone help me what process will be used to upload the data in SAP-ISU system and also post the payment in customer account.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
You need to develop a customised program to upload the file in a SAP acceptable format and then call SAP standard program RFKKZE00 to process the same, create payment lots and post the amount into customer account.
You need to perform validation and checks against the file format of the file that you ar uploading.
Once the file passes the checks, it is reformatted to a file which is accepted by the SAP standard program RFKKZE00.
A file in the SAP accpted format will have-
One file header record (BFKKZGR00 structure) per file
One payment lot header (BFKKZK structure)
Any number of items (structure BFKKZP)
You can include data for any number of lots in a file. However, you have to ensure that you always specify the lot header first and then the related line items.
After you have created reformatted file, then perform a check to ensure that the source file and the reformatted file has the same date and no data has been missed.
Call the SAP standard program RFKKZE00 (T.code-FPB3) to process the reformatted file.
You can goto t.code -SLG1 to check for any errors\messages.
    Hope it helps......
    Thanks,

  • Any Configuration possible for Payment terms???

    Hello Experts,
The Credit Control Manager would like to know if there is
any configuration possible in SPRO that can allow user to change the payment terms in an order to a lower level
but not at a higher level.
e.g. Payment terms can change from 60Days to 30Days but not from 30Days to 60Days.
    Please answer me ASAP.
    Regards,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
Please check that in IMG through this path
    SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Master data>Business partner>Customers>Billing document>Define Terms of payment.
If you are not able to change you can define new payment terms then you can assign that to the customer master.
I hope it will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Want to open Kodak Photo CD files (.PCD) in Photoshop CS5.  In CS4 i copied file "Photo CD.8BI"  from an older version into the File Format folder.  This does not work with CS5.  Any fix?

I have several old Kodak Photo CD with PCD image files.  I am now using Photoshop CS5.  Some years ago while using Photoshop CS4 I copied a file:  "Photo CD.8BI" from an older, CS2, version to the Plug-ins/File Format folder of CS4.  This does not appear to work with CS5.  Any fix?

It can be made to work, but you have to run the 32 bit version of Photoshop CS5, and as I recall there's an additional DLL called pcdlib32.dll that's needed from the old installation.

  • Nas on airport extreme not recognized by time machine. same nas was previously used as time machine backup on different airport extreme. are there any configuration files that i can delete to fix this problem ?

nas on airport extreme not recognized by time machine. same nas was previously used as time machine backup on different airport extreme. are there any configuration files that i can delete to fix this problem ?

Time Machine has been working just fine, but in the last week or two it has given up the ghost. I reset the connections to the drive, and it will basically save a few bytes of data and then hang.
Although Apple originally announced, prior to the release of the first 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Stations (AEBSn), that it would support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks, they removed that option before they did finally release the base station for sale.
Since then, Apple has posted (as you have noted) that they DO NOT support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks. As far as I know, they have not changed from that position and those who do these backups find that they become corrupted over time. Sorry, but it sounds like you just confirmed that for yourself.
    1) Has one of the recent updates either on the AE (firmware) or OSX disabled this function?
No. Again, this feature has never been supported by Apple for every generation of AEBSn released.
    2) Are there any changes I can make to get this working again?
If your data backups are critical to you, then you will want to use a different solution for your Time Machine backup destination drive strategy. I would suggest that you connect your WD My Book directly to your Mac in the mean time.
Your other options would be to either use a Time Capsule (which interestingly does support TM backups to AirPort Disks) or a non-Apple solution like the Drobo FS or HP MediaSmart server.
