Payment terms based on working days

Dear colleagues
I would like to base payment terms on, for example, the last working day of the month, or the last working day of the trimester instead of working with fixed days.
Would someone know if this is possible and if so, how can that be arranged?
Thanks and regards,
Marlies

Dear,
as far as I know, this is not possible into the SAP Standard System.
I'm sorry about it.

  • Payment terms based on specific dist.channel, division and Plant but not from customer master.

    Dear All
    I have a requirement,
Generally payments terms from customer master will flow to sales order. but here my requirement is to get a different payment terms based on specific distribution channel, division, customer  and plant those are there in sales order but not from customer master. is there any user exit or functional module to fulfill this requirement, or any other suggestion appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Reddy

This Problem you can solve without user exit too.
The Customer master data itself can solve the problem.
You can maitain diffrent Payment Term as per the sales area (Dist.Ch+Div+S.org) of customer master.
and each sales are wise u can change the plant also.
You just need to set your logic with the combination of sales are and plant. And need to assign which payment term should determine to sales order.
If you are rasing sales order with X sales area relavent to that payment term will trigger.
Hope above logic will work, otherwise you can go with user exit.

  • Payment Terms based on Value Date (UDF)

Hi, is it possible and if how? I want to create a new Payment Term based on a value date which is maybe months ahead. So the docduedate is after this value date but the document shall already go into accounting.
    how is this easily possible?

    Hello,
If you mean that the payment due date in the payment terms should be calculated on the basis of some date specified in a udf, it is not possible.
But what you can do is use formatted search to calculate the due date based on the udf. apply this formatted search in due date field.

  • Payment terms should calculate Payment due date based on working days

    Hi Experts,
As we know that standard SAP calculates Payment due date= base line date + number of days maintained in payment terms. In this payment days are considered as calendar days and not the working days.
Example: If base line date is Thursday, payment terms says 3 days then payment due date is calculated as Sunday ( which is not a working day as per the factory calendar I use). The requirement is that payment date should be calculated as following Tuesday considering Satuarday and Sunday are not working days as per the calendar.
Can you please suggest how can we achieve this?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

You can not acheive from config pooint of view but you can use BADI and get the solution
use BAdI MRM_PAYMENT_TERMS to set terms of payment
You can use this Business Add-In to change the following fields for the
terms of payment in the invoice document header:
o  ZFBDT: Base date for due date calculation
    o  ZBD1T: Discount days 1
    o  ZBD1P: Discount percentage 1
    o  ZBD2T: Discount days 2
    o  ZBD2P: Discount percentage 2
o  ZBD3T: Deadline for net condition
o  ZLSPR: Key for payment block

  • Payment term based discount or surcharge

Client have requirement of Payement term based discount or surcharge. Conditions are like below:
    1. 10% discount to customer if he is paying cash.
    2. 5% discount if he is paying with in 15 days by cash, check or wire transfer.
    3. 5% surcharge on all other Payment terms other than above two mentioned.
    4. There are many payment terms  that's why We do not want to create several conditions record for surcharge.
Please help & advice how to solve this using Standard SAP (With out writing any ABAP program or new routine).
    thanks

    Hi Jitender
Please correct me if I am wrong.Looks like you have better Idea on this!
why do You think that the issue is more of factoring discount?
If he maitain 3 condion records for the 3 different payment terms, the system checks the payment terms from the customer master data in the order - Right?
    condtion record  EX:sales org, D.c, payment terms( for cash) - 10%( = $10)
like that he will maitain 3 condition records for 3 payment terms.
The moment I enter cystomer(systmem checks from customer master) in the sales order the sytem will picks up the $10 from condition record and it will display as a discount.
    whats wrong in that?
    Please can you clarify me.
    Thanks

  • Payment term key with limit days in Extended Classic Scenario

    Hello,
We have an SRM 4.0 implementation (SRM Server 5.0 with Support Package
    9) using the Extended Classic Scenario.
When a shopping cart is created, it must be approved, and then a
purchase order is generated (first locally at SRM, and then is
    replicated to the backend).
The problem is that the payment term key (field at header level EKKO-
ZTERM) of the backend purchase order is empty, only in cases when we use a payment term key which have several different values for the
field "limit days" (T052-ZTAGG in backend, BBP_PAYTERM-ZTAGG in SRM).
    Example:
         ZTERM     ZTAGG
          K180           09
          K180           19
          K180           31
If the payment term key selected has no several values for the field "limit
days" (one single entry), the payment term key arrives correctly at the backend purchase order.
    Example:
         ZTERM     ZTAGG
          E000           00
In SRM table BBP_PAYTERM we have upload the backend payment terms
(using report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS). In other threads it is said that you must copy the entries generated by the report with the logical system of the SRM system, but in extended classic scenario it seems to be not necessary.
We have already implemented note 846009, in order to use always the backend payment term, but the error didn’t get resolved.
We have our vendor business partners mapped to the local and backend
purchasing organizations, but it is only necessary indicate the Payment term key for the Backend Purchasing Organization.

  • How to define payment term - Net due 45 days after month end

Anyone have experience of payment terms such as "Net Due 45 days after Month End"?
I'm trying to define payment terms where the amount is due X days after month end.
Terms such as 10 days after month end are OK because I can set "Months Ahead" = 1 and "Day of Month" = 10
However, I can't exceed a value of 31 in the "Day on Month" field. I could assume that a month is 31 days and therefore set "Months Ahead" =1 and "Day of Month" = 14. However, this won't always be true (depending on the month) and it will impact aging buckets.
Anyone encountered this before? (These payment terms seem to common in France and Denmark)

    Hi Supriya,
In OBB8, create a new payment term with the following settings -
Default for baseline date = No default
    Payment terms/Term 1/Fixed date = 1
    Payment terms/Term 1/Additional months = 2
This payment term will ask you for a baseline date on document entry. You can give the delivery date as the baseline date. If required, this date can be changed after posting the document also.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Mike

  • Payment  Terms in account work center

    HI All,
where can I found the Payment  Terms into the Account Work Center?
Is it possible to add this information into the Account overview?
    Thank for any help.
    Simone

    Hi Simone,
You can find it in the Sales Data Tab.
This data comes from ECC (if you have an integrated scenario) and is not editable in C4C.

  • Payment Term with fixed 10 days addition.

    Hi,
I want to have a payment term KM00 which says "at sight".
But internally i want system to give a 15 days grace to customer. So for example:
If i post a entry today with Payment term KM00, it should give net due date 15 days after.
Plz suggest what needs to be done on Payment term configuration.
    regards

    OK leave the baseline date.
Against the payment terms "No of days " field enter 10 days
Therefore the due date will be 10 days after the baseline date, which you need to define to be either the entry date, posting date or document date.
    Hope this helps

  • Absence days caliculation based on working days  HR ABAP

    Hi experts,
I am developing one report that is for Variable Bonus report. We are evaluating the data based on the Variable Bonus period  based on Selection-screen. for ex: 01.04.2007 to 31.03.2008
There is one record in the IT2001 with begin date 26.01.2008 end date 25.07.2008 for the absence type 0620(Unpaid leave). But our Variable Bonus  period is 01.04.2007 to 31.03.2008. I want to calculate absence days for the above record from 26.01.2008 to 01.04.2008 and 26.01.2008 to 31.03.2008
Please let me know any function module which gives me exact absence days.
i have tried RKE_SELECT_FACTDAYS_FOR_PERIOD... but its giving based on factory id but in my requirement the working days differ from each employee ...for ex:  5 working days in a week or 5.5 working days in a week, 6 working days in a week ....for each employee....
Please suggest me what could be done to achieve this.....

    Hi sudheer,
         Thanks for your reply.
Yes i need to caliculate the absence days based on S_vbpd(vb period from selection screen). but here in IT2001 Absence day are maintained as contract period ... for example..
    vb period   01.04.2007 to 31.03.2008
    start date                  end date
    25.03.2007     03.04.2007
    20.03.2008     05.04.2008
                  01042007                                          31.03.2008
    ___________|___________________________________|_____
    25032007        03042007     20.03.2008                   05.04.2008
But system caliculating absence days for period 25.03.2007 to 03.04.2007 and 20.03.2008 to 05.04.2008 in infotype IT2001 total but i need absences from VB period start date and contract enddate(01.04.2007 to 03042007) next period (20.03.2008 to 31.03.2008).
Please help me for the above scenario.....i hope i made it clear my requirement...

  • The same payment term with two different Day Limit

    Hello Experts,
I have the same Payment terme AAAA: 45 days, end of the month for two different Day Limit (15 and 31)
2 calcul mode are possible :
    1/ fixed date :31 + additional months :1
    2/ fixed date :31 + additional months :2
Actually this is the second method in use and according to the informations I have it should be the first one.
Then the user for the 16/04/2010 as Baseline date, is expecting the end of May ( 16 + 45 days >> 31th of May > 31/05) But the system calculate it for the 30/06/2010.
I want to understand the settings and how to correct.
    Thank you in advance

  • Payment term based on Period

We are creating schedule agreement for vendor with Rate and Term of Payment.
I have got requirement from the client that they want to change the Term of Payment at vendor master but the system should function in below manner.
Say we have created the Agreement on 01.08.2011 and the same time the Terms of Payment at Vendor master was 0001, i have partial receipt agaist the said order. further user has modified the payment term to 0002 at vendor master as on 16.08.2011 and received the balance material.
Currently while MIRO system is considering the payment term 0001 for both receipt as the same was at the time of creation of order but i want that the system should pick 0001 for 1st receipt and 0002 for second receipt.
    Please advice

    hi,
    1. There is nothing period based Payment term. You can go to transaction code "OBB8". you will find the details of configuration regarding Payment term.
    2. Payment terms maintained at Vendor master and while doing transaction ( SA/P.O ) system will propose the Payment term, on creation of P.O/S.A, system automatically don't change the payment term.
On confirmation from vendor  you need to change it in P.O  and then proceed for creating MIRO.
If version Management is active upon changing Payment term  in P.O , may need to complete  the version also.
or else change directly at MIRO under Payment tab.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Date calculations based on working days

I need to add date calculations to a worksheet to show the time elapsed between two actions.
Just a straightforward subtraction works fine, but what I really need to be able to do is calculate the number of working days between the two point (as something taking 5 days over Christmas with the 2 bank holidays is different equivalent to something taking 3 days in a normal week)
At the moment I'm exporting the data into excel for analysis of this, but would really like to be able to do it in Disco so that the end users can go straight to the report using viewer, rather than having to do the conversion for them.
    Is this possible?
    Cheers

    Hi,
Every thing is possible, the Q is how complicated is it....
My suggestion is to create a table with all the dates of the non-working days for ex:
create a table with all the MON-THURSDAYS, union to this table the holidays you know of such as christmas and so on.
After getting this table you can create a function that returns the number of working days between 1 date to another by subtracting the days exists in this table.
I started with that, you are more then welcome to get ahead with it and let us know what happened...
    create table holiday
    D_date date,
    d_day varchar2(20)
create or replace procedure holiday_proc is
    d_date date;
    begin
    d_date := trunc(sysdate);
    while d_date<'01-jan-2010'
    loop
if to_char(trunc(d_date),'Day') not in ('Saturday ','Sunday ') then
    INSERT INTO Holiday (d_date,d_day)
    (select trunc(d_date),to_char(trunc(d_date),'Day') from dual);
    end if;
    d_date := d_date+1;
    end loop;
    commit;
    end holiday_proc;
