Payment Types

I am trying to access the Payment Types screen from HRMS Localization Seed Data Entry responsibility and getting the following error
APP-PAY-07050: You cannot enter this form in USER mode.
what does this mean?
and how to fix it?

I have added the function to the "Global Super HRMS Manager" responsibility
and still having the same error message
the user function name is "Define Payment Types"
and the function name is PAYWSPTD
in the Functions form
when I queried this function
in the Properties Tab
I found these values:
-Type : Form
-Maintenance Mode Support : None
-Context Dependence : Responsibility
any thing wrong with these values?
the error message says "USER Mode"
is there a profile option to determine on which mode you are?

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.

How to add a new payment type

Hi,
We need to add a new payment type in Oracle Applications 11i and I could not find the required setup steps. The Form Name is : APXPAWKB
The user's navigation is as follows:
Payables super user responsibility->Payments -> Entry ->Payments:Type:
There is a LOV with Manual, Quick and Refund and we need to add a fourth one as Elses.
How can we do this?

Hi,
You cannot define a payment type as that is based on a lookup defined under the navigation Setup>lookup>Payables.
This look up access level is System whihc implies it does not allow user level values to be defined.
So you have to use the available payment types,

Explanation
두 type간의 차이는 infra의 차이라고 말씀드릴 수 있겠습니다.
일반적으로 지급을 하면, 승인을 하고, Format을 만든 후,
은행쪽에 이체정보를 전달해주게 됩니다.
이 과정이 Manual방식입니다.
그에 반해,
Quick(약식)은 Bank와 EDI를 통하여 직접 연결되어있을때
지급처리하자마자 바로 은행으로 정보가 가는 방식입니다.
(지급기한의 정보는 고려되지 않습니다.)
즉, 지급처리가 됨과 동시에 은행쪽에 정보가
송부되기 때문에 취소라는 것이 없습니다.
만약, ERP와 은행간에 EDI등으로 실제 자료가 오가지 않는다면,
Quick(약식)과 Manual(수동)은 차이가 없습니다.

Payment type: PP, ACH, COS in SAP ?

Dear all,
I'm creating DMEE format tree for three payment types: PP (Priority Payment), ACH (Automatic Clearing House) and
COS (Cheque Outsourcing Services).
I'm wondering in SAP how can I know which payment is PP, ACH, or COS.
Or when we enter a vendor's invoice, is there any "type" or "indicator" that tell me this kind of invoice will be paid
in PP, ACH or COS.
I have no background on these types of payment so please explain for me.

For foreign currency payment methord you need to do following in T code FBZP.
Step 1: Pmnt Methods in company code :- Check the box for "Foreign Currency Allowed" under "Foreign payments/foreign currency payments" for this check payment method.
Step 2: Bank Determination --> a) Ranking Order :- configure house bank for check payment method and currency GBP
b) Bank Accounts :- Configure Account ID for above mentioned house bank, check payment method and currency GBP
c) Available Amounts :- Make sure you have sufficient balance for a combination of above mentioned house bank, account ID, currency with days being 999.
By doing this, the F110 will pick up GBP posted documents for payment in GBP.

Redeemed card and balance applied, though Itune will not let me purchase with balance and keeps referring me to other payment types which I do not want and will not let me purchase with my credit balance.

Had an itunes card, entered the code on the card to redeem it. This all worked fine and it applied the correct balance. Now go to itunes store and it keeps referring me to make purchase with other payment types rather than letting me purchase with my current Apple ID balance. I have ensured I am on the latest version of iTunes though still getting the same issue.

Need help - payment type selection

I need some help with this.
I have 4 different payment types on my registration buy online form. I want to be able to display relevant information depending on which type is selected;
if cc is selected then display cc input fields then process through payment gateway on submit
if phone for payment is selected then display phone number and times to call
if bank transfer is selected then display bank detail
if paypal is selected then process on paypal on submit.
Has anyone done this before?
Any help will be appreciated.

When an app is free and it asks for account information which is correct why does it keep saying payment type invalid please choose another payment type.?

Maybe check with your bank and see if everything is ok with your account.
settings - appstore - view id - account info, then you can edit your payment.

Either add a payment method that iTunes accept or contact iTunes about using the method that you think is valid.

How to default payment type to invoice in istore billing page

We are using B2B user scenario in iStore and we have a requirement to default payment type to invoice in billing page of iStore and user can change it to credit card if required.

This is controlled in the ibeCPmdPmtOptions.jsp
selected_pmt_opt IN   value in order to specify which radio button to have selected
|                          Possible values: "new_purchase_order", "invoice",
|                                           "new_credit_card", "existing_credit_card", "fax_cc", "readonly_cc"
However, the current design/behavior will default to credit card once the user has one setup -
If the iStore user has a default credit card, then the default credit card is defaulted into the cart as the payment option when the user adds the first item to a new cart. If credit card is not enabled by the merchant as a payment type, then Invoice, Cash and Check (in this order) will be chosen, depending on which payment types have been enabled by the merchant.
If the user does not have a default credit card in his profile and creates a new credit card, the new credit card is used in the checkout process and becomes the default credit card; this card then will be defaulted the next time.
