Payments from customers all show the same name

I sell a number of products daily and the FROM part all say the Paypal payments are from the same person. The name is from one of my customers. How do I stop this from reoccuring. I don't want to delete all my emails. Any tips would help. Thank you.

Delete the paypal address from the address book as Thunderbird is using the name associated with that entry.
Alternatively disable the use of Display names from the address book.
Tools menu (Alt+T) > Options > Advanced > Reading and display
Deselect the Show display names checkbox

You created a mess and there is no solution - with the actions you have taken those photos are gone unless you have access to them from some other source - they existed in two place - in your iPhoto library and on your backup drive - you have traded the backup drive and restore an earlier iPhoto library so all you have is what you have

We have three Apple devices. They are all have the same name and are on the same apple ID. We would like to back up our Notes to the cloud. If we each create our own Apple email address will they create two separate Notes flies on the cloud or merge?

Separate Apple ID's will result in separate notes. However when you first start with separate ID's unless one of you erases the notes you have, you will both start off with the same set of notes, but from then onwards each set won't sync with each other.

HT1473 Often times when I copy a CD into my library it breaks the CD into more than one Album, all with the same name but with only a few of the songs on each. This happens whenever the CD has music with more than one artists...like maybe duets.

Have many image maps on a page, and they all have the same name. When i change one, they all change, When I add a new one, w a new name, all the rest change.
What to do? Any tips?

Iphoto events all showing the same picture

All my events in iphoto are showing the same picture and I have to click on each one to see what is behind it so furstrating can anyone help me

This is a software issue. There's no wear and tear involved here, so the age of the computer doesn't come into it.
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate

Field Explorer in Crystal Reports does not show the same names as Bex Query

I have crystal reports, I can retrieve data from BW Bex Query. But in the field explorer it does not show the names as in the Bex query designer.
In the Bex query designer a field will have the following technical name 0Debitor and the description is Customer.
It shows in crystal reports in the field explorer twice as D[0DEBITOR]D and D[0DEBITOR]D. It also does not seperate key figures and characteristics.
I would like it to display the field explorer as shown in this blog.

make sure you are using the MDX Driver and what happens is that you will see several fields per characteristic. example: one for the key, one for the description, several if modelled for the display attributes

Using 'Share with Media Browser' gives all movies the same name

I'm having a huge problem exporting in iMovie as it relates to iWeb. Every movie I 'Share with Media Browser' is named after the size I choose instead of the name of the project. So one project named 'Sunday' will be exported as "medium.m4v", then a different movie called 'Baseball' will be exported as "medium.m4v" but in a different folder.
The problem is, when I try to use them in iWeb, all of the pages reference the movie named "medium.m4v", but they upload the movies and rename them "medium.m4v", "medium-1.m4v", "medium-2.m4v" and so on, but all of the pages display the first "medium.m4v" video.
I went to "Reveal In Finder" in iWeb and I can see the movie, but if I rename it, it disappears out of the Media Browser in both iMovie and iWeb. I can then import it by dragging it in from the Finder, but then I lose having iMovie know it's there for freeing up space later. For something that is supposed to be simple, this is certainly not. Is there a way to initially override the name of the movie from within iMovie?

Well yes, that was how I was doing it with th previous version of iMovie. But this is Apple!! Putting these movies in iWeb has to be one of the primary functions that this "Media Browser" was created for, how can it be completely broken?

MSSQLServer4 - Accessing columns from a select with the same name

The following describes a problem I'm encountering using the MSSQLServer4 driver...I have the following 2 tables (greatly simplified):
Create Table BOOK( BookId int, Name varchar(50), AuthorId int )
Create Table AUTHOR( AuthorId int, Name varchar(30) )
and my select is
Select BOOK.*, AUTHOR.*
From BOOK Inner Join AUTHOR On BOOK.AUTHORID = AUTHOR.AUTHORID
As you can see, the ResultSet from this select will have 2 identically named columns called "Name". I realize I could use an alias to differentiate the column names, but then I must list out every column in each table (quite ugly). I had EXPECTED to be able to do a resultSet.getString( "Author.Name" ), but that doesn't appear to work either. Next, I thought I could use the ResultSetMetaData.getTable()/ResultSetMetaData.getColumnName() to determine the ordinal value, but getTable() always returns "". Is there anyway to distinguish these two columns without using an alias?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards...MarcHi. getTableName() will never work because the DBMS doesn't send the necessary metadata with the result
set that the driver would need to implement that call. If you get 'Name' for multiple column names, JDBC specifies
that getXXX("Name") will always return the first such named column. The only non-alias way is to know
the columns you're going to get in order, and just do getXXX(1), getXXX(2) etc.

How can I disassociate my songs in the iTunes store from another musician with the same name?

My songs in the iTunes store are showing up with the artist John Powers. That is my name. There seems to be another musician called John Powers, and our songs seem to be grouped together. I feel bad for the guy, as he seems quite clean-cut and my songs are all a bit... edgy. Is there any way to clarify that there is another artist also called John Powers, or will my songs forever be linked to his through our common name?

Clustering images - they all get the same name?

Hi Vision Gurus,
I need to create multiple images, so to reduce wiring I thought I'd put them into a cluster. But when I do so, they are all called "New Image", which is not the name I gave each one when I used IMAQ Image Create. Iexpected each image to have the name I gave it.
Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?

The "Name" you give an image using Imaq create image.vi can be though of as a pointer to the actual image data.
The name of a control in a cluster is just the label of that control. The two things are not related.
If you need to carry multiple image references (named images) in a single cluster element, then simply create multiple image controls (or constants), and then wire up to the corresponding named image wire.

Moving a file from a directory with the same name to the parent

Hello,
I created a directory with the name a.txt and put a file in there called a.txt.
(This was an accident, I had originally tried to just save a file a.txt in the a.txt directory's parent directory.)
So I had parent->a.txt->a.txt.
Then using finder I dragged the a.txt file into the parent directory.
The replace file dialog came up, as I would expect, to replace the a.txt directory with the a.txt file.
I clicked replace.
Then both the directory a.txt and the file a.txt went missing.
They're not in the Trash.
The a.txt file is not in the parent directory.
I understand that there is an underlying process behind moving/replacing/etc., and I understand what I was trying to do is unusual, but this is just crap design.
PS: I can replicate the problem.
PSS: I'm using Lion.

Multiple inputs from a user using the same variable !

I am trying out the following code block,which should ask the users to enter 3 different names using '&' operator & assign it to a variable v_ename every time the loop executes.

The above code accepts a single input from the user & assigns the same input 3 times to "ename_table".thus the output shows the same name 3 times.
Is it possible that we can have the user input 3 different names & then print them using the concept of Index by binary_integer ?

Server side PL/SQL is NOT designed for this kind of user interaction.
the "&" character is intrepreted by the SQL*Plus application and before the PL/SQL block is submitted to the DB by the SQL*Plus application, it replaces each appearance of the &variable with the value entered. Once the block gets to the database, all it sees is a constant value - no more a variable name.
&variable_name is a SQL*Plus application thing, not the database.
Where will this type of logic will be eventually used? What client application will interact with the server side PL/SQL? You need to code this input logic in that client application.

CRM- Two Z tabs with the same name

We have a problem with 2 new tabs in a sales contract in CRM.
In the sales contract, we have created two tabs, one 1 and 2, and the problem is the name
of the tab, that is the same for both, althoung the fields in the tabs are different and fine created.
We don't why we have the problem. We have created to BADI:
ZCRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI
ZCRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI(2).
For the first, in the event set_title we have establish: tab1.
For the second, in the event set_title we have establish: tab2.
We think that on customizing CRMV_SSC could be missing any, but we don't know why system is showing the same name for both tabs.
Any help??

Hi Felix,
Please check the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H and verify if the two fields are updated in this table correctly. If it is then you should not be facing problems in the BADI as well. Just keep a track of the names of the fields.
