Paypal allows scammers to keep on scamming.....utterly ridiculous...

I sent a 10 car Hot Wheels set to a Canadian buyer through Ebay.....The buyer immediately after receipt claims 'Not as Described", including different color, different model, everything they could check off.......Now I know what I sent, So I sent the picture to Paypal of the listing and asked the buyer to descbribe to me what they had 'received'.....No reply, of course, so I then sent them an e-mail authorizing a return as Paypal requested........The buyer sends back an envelope addressed to "Homeowner"' at an address 7 houses down from mine.....Now I know i gave him the correct name and address and I am sure Paypal did the same..... I tracked through the Post Office where this was delivered to and signed for after the tracking showed such......and went to the house to retrieve what I thought would be 10 random cars in a package....the wife called her husband at work who told her where the 'package' was, it was an empty envelope......(He had thought about calling the FBI since he got an empty envelope from a foreign country with a blan piece of paper inside).... I called Paypal and spoke to the 'customer Service' (or lack of), told them exactly what I received, and told them the buyer was trying to pull a scam by showing signed delivery in my town, but not my address, since the Post Office tracking does not show the exact address......I told them I would send in scans of the package matching the same tracking number that the buyer gave them, and also note that the envelope states "Documents Only" so there is no way that he returned any items to me, just a blank piece of paper in it.....Well, surprise, surprise, they rule in favor of the buyer since the return showed 'DELIVERY"...WTF.......I have attached the scans that I sent in, just unbelievable that Paypal favors a buyer with 3, yes 3 feedbacks over a seller with 2800+ at 100%.....I am done with Ebay and will not send another item to Canada to outside the US. Paypal has no seller protection, they are a joke...... My rant is over $59 and my 10 car set gone to a scammer that Paypal let happen...shame on Paypal... Paul. Turn off Wifi in settings and then turn it on again; this will pause your device's update from updating.
To stop automatic updates of applications, go to settings, Itunes&appstore, scroll down to automatic downloads and turn off updates

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

looking for a crop that will allow me to keep all the heads the same size. Iam a School photographer and have been looking for a crop tool mask out liner ect that will alow me to crop and see that head sizes remain the same throught out a job can any one help with this question?

I *think* I'm understanding that Eisenray is asking. Similar to the crop overlays, like Grid or Spiral, he would like one with an oval, to help hi better size the heads in the photos. I believe in each photo, the heads have to be the same size.
What he *could* do, is create a rectangle with an oval punched out of it. He could drag the image to an 8x10 300ppi document, and that rectangle can be overlayed on his photo, then he can shrink/enlarge the photo to fit the oval...if that makes sense.
It's difficult to understand, do if I'm wrong, please let us know, Eisenray.

I would highly recommend taking some training before embarking on building models in PAS. Although the Help Guide in PAS will give you some of the information you need, I would really recommend training. While some modification of Cube Builder is possible, you do have to make those changes each time you rebuild your Cube Builder model.
My suggestion would be to sign up for the OKP Training, which is an online training course for SSM 7.5. Being online, the course has recorded presentations and the 22 hours of material go through all aspects of SSM from the user and administration interfaces to an introduction and instruction on how to build models in PAS.

I{m not sure what you mean by that. Where is it asking you to change it? and By update do you mean you updated the iOS software on it, or you bought a new iPad all together?

Paypal allowed $2200 to be scammed from me

I've been using paypal for over a decade now and never had much of a problem with them until recently. I chose to sell some artwork on ebay and had a local buyer interested. We both agreed to exchange the items on hand. The day of of the transaction he supplied my paypal account with the $2200 and met his friend at a local train station to exchange goods. That was the last I heard from him until over a month later when I recieved a notification on paypal that the buyer never recieved his goods. I called Paypal to dispute this claim and all they could tell me is to move forward with the case and alert my local authorties. Paypal sided with the buyer and now I'm out $2200 and my artwork. Is there anything I can do to fight this buyer fraud?

You should NEVER accept paypal for an item that is collected. As there is no way you can prove the buyer received the item ie with a tracking number then of course the buyer will win any chargebacks etc. That is why there is no seller protection for items that are collected. That is why it is the only time on ebay that you are allowed to put "cash on collection" only on your auctions. Paypal gives you buyer protection but it can never be 100%, so you have to read up to make sure you qualify for that protection before selling >>> 11.5 Items/transactions not eligible for PayPal Seller protection. Firefox keeps telling me to reboot, even after rebooting. Will not allow uninstall. Keeps asking to reboot. Why??

Well, Firefox was working just fine, until the version 19 upgrade came out. Now, I am unable to run Firefox. I keep getting an error that Firefox needs to reboot my computer to complete a previous upgrade. I have allowed the Firefox installer to reboot my machine several times, but it continues to ask to reboot my computer. It will not proceed past this point.
Additionally, I get the same error when attempting to uninstall Firefox. So, I can't uninstall the program to do a clean reinstall, and I can't get the current installation to finish doing its upgrade.
I have tried running the program as Administrator. No change. I also looked for the *.xml files having to do with Firefox updates, but I don't appear to have those files on my computer, and I know better than to just randomly delete files.
I also have backed up my configuration files directory to another location, just so I don't lose all my bookmarks, passwords, etc.
I am using Chrome to write this, as Firefox is completely non-functional on my system, as of now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if you can not delete the Mozilla Firefox program folder, try to boot Windows in Safe mode (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that allows to delete that folder.

I am trying to use the remainder of my gift card balance ($1.27). Clearly I am $0.02 short, so I tried numerous times to set up my account to just go through paypal. Paypal allows me to set it up just fine... but itunes isn't recognizing it.... plz help

The main problem is when I'm in PayPal and I have to use the "Return to itunes store" button... it just "searches" and never goes back to the store. The message says that if the page doesn't open to just use the itunes icon on my desktop. I do this but the store just doesn't recognize that i've set up PayPal already. I've done this about 10 times this morning and i'm tired of having to go back in and resubmit everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

Allowing incoming connection keeps poping up

for the last few days within all my Adobe porducts including Lightroom. As soon I do something like exporting, saving or opening. The computer as if I want to allow all icnoming network connection. Now those messeages come up so fast and go away right away which does not leave time to even click them with he mouse. It happens about 10 time in row stops for a while and then starts over again.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Why does Firefox now have a bar which pops up with "Allow" on it? No matter how many times I click on Allow, it just keeps coming back, stuffing some logins

I don't know enough to know why it's doing this, or what to do about it. That's why I asked the question!

There are a few different bars you could see that have an "Allow" button: page wants to redirect, pop-up window was blocked, page wants to install software... Can you be more specific about which message you're seeing?

Youtube is not allowing playback I keep receiving an "error try agin later message"

My youtube videos played fin until a few days ago, now when attempting to play youtube videos I recieved this message "error try again later" my browser is Safari 6.0.5 and I have an Imac. Can anyone please advise how I can get youtube to play. Thanks

If you use Safari, please ensure all your plugins are up-to-date. You may have one or more that isn't that is causing your problem. You can also Reset Safari, instructions for that are in a recent article I found at:

Another thing to try is after the first two items, then restart in Safe Mode. This will clear some caches, to do this hold down the Shift Key when you hear the startup tone until a progress bar appears. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.

Firefox version 4.0.1 doesn't allow me to keep signed in to Yahoo. How do I correct this?

It used to be that when I closed my browser that Yahoo would remember me, so the next time I opened it with Yahoo as my home page, I was automatically logged in. Now I have to log in every time I open my browser. Furthermore, when I try to move about in Yahoo, it will ask me again for my user name & password.
I can go to the IE browser right now, and Yahoo will remember me...I don't like IE.
